As first time parents, my wife & I have been extremely happy with using Dr. Berkun as our pediatrician. From pregnancy, to birth, to our check up visits, he has taken the time to address any questions or concerns weve had, which has made us a lot more comfortable throughout this process. He has been very helpful in guiding us and giving us advice in areas such as feeding schedules and sleep training, which has made parenting a lot easier on us. We would highly recommend him.

Dr. Berkun is an awful doctor with awful bedside manners. He isn’t committed to his job or patients. I have used High Ridge Family practice for 10 years and there is always and issue. I would NEVER recommend him due to his lack of care and the rude receptionists. Do not go to High Ridge Family practice unless you want to leave with a migraine from their incompetence.

Dr. Berkun is a very thorough and caring doctor. I would highly recommend! We have used him since the birth of my second and since my first was 2 years old. He explains things very carefully and takes his time to make sure that all of your questions are answered and that you felt heard. I trust that he is doing everything in the best interest of my children!

My family uses High Ridge Family Practice and my children see Dr. Berkun. They love him as do I because he takes the time and connects with them. His exams are thorough and personable and he always gets back to us promptly for any concern. I feel confident that they are being treated and cared for with the utmost professionalism and sound medical care.

Finding Dr. Berkun over 13 years ago to be our sons pediatrician has been one of the best and most fortunate things to happen to us. Dr. B not only is an outstanding pediatrician but he has a knack for not taking the easy way out or over reacting when it comes to getting to the bottom of what is going on and coming up with a short term and long term game plan. He has known our son since birth and at this point we consider Dr. B a critical part of our sons development and care and really a part of extended family! I would whole heartedly recommend him to the next generation of little ones and their parents.

Doctor Berkun is fantastic, overall a great pediatrician. He has seen our son from 4 months until now (18 months) and it’s always a pleasant experience. Appointments are on time, office staff is helpful and Dr.B has a great bedside manner and never makes us parents feel embarrassed about asking too many questions. He is traditional in his approach and we can appreciate that. He always gets back to us if we call him after hours, we had a tick bite incident over thanksgiving holiday and he was super responsive. Highly recommend.

Dr. Berkun has been our family pediatrician for the last 10 years. He and his staff have always been responsive and super helpful throughout the years. Even during emergencies he made himself available to us regardless if it was the weekend or not. Our kids love him. He has a warm heart, kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He is patient with the kids and with us parents. We highly recommend him to any family in the area.

Dr. Burken is an exceptional doctor. He has exceeded my expectations. We met Dr. Burken while delivering my daughter during COVID in Stamford. He was very attentive and made me feel so positive and comfortable. We took my daughter for her first checkup once we left the hospital. I loved his practice so much that I even decided to transfer my son who was at a different paediatric office to his office. We commute from Weston but it’s well worth it. I also love the fact that he pierce my daughters ears in his office!

Dr. Berkun is an excellent pediatrician to our infant and toddler. He is responsive, thorough, and patient. His approach of teaching and coaching parents continuously builds our confidence and skills as parents. Doctor Berkun is a top-notch pediatrician. When our daughter was born, he personally made a visit to the hospital on multiple occasions to make sure everything was going fine with mother and baby. He is caring and thoughtful, and very well experienced. A week before Mom gave birth, we took a child CPR course, highly recommended! Dr. Berkun’s instructions are clear and has no problem going over procedures a few times to make you feel comfortable. He along with his staff are all very friendly. High Ridge Family Practice is a warm and inviting place, we always feel so comfortable there. The doctor and nurses always take copious notes, and as a patient you have the ability to view them all online so you can refer back to. Dr. Berkun and nurses are always happy to answer any questions you may have, we always ask a million questions and yet we never feel to be rushed out of the room, they always take time for us to go over all of our questions and help to provide us with insightful answers. Each visit has been a pleasant experience, and along with being a great doctor, Dr. Berkun also serves as an excellent coach on how to best care for the health and well-being of our child. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr Berkun is excellent! He is very thorough with all of his explanations about vaccines, medical questions and is a calming voice of reason during emergencies. He provides parents with extensive research to back his positions and makes you feel very reassured. I would highly recommend him as a pediatrician.

Dr. Berkun is our daughters pediatrician and we could not be happier with the care that he has provided for her. At this appointment, we learned about Dr. Berkuns philosophy of care and how the practice works. As a first time parent, Dr. Berkuns methodical approach has put me at ease. Our daughter was born in July of 2020 and Dr. Berkun was at the hospital each day to examine her. Not only is Dr. Berkun a wonderful practitioner, but he also is a great teacher and has taught us general symptoms to look for so we could manage our first time parent anxiety - not every sneeze is an emergency!

Finding Dr. Berkun has been a blessing! Im a first time mom to a now 3 month old and have learned so much for him! Even with Covid, there havent been long waits. We call when we arrive and are then told when to enter to limit exposure to our little man! Dr. Berkun is extremely responsive, Ive called after hours and even the non emergency line gets us a very quick and thorough response.... even a visit in to put our minds at ease! He is great with babies, weve been going since he was born and even while I was pregnant, he spent 45 minutes talking to us about the practice and his care... made our pediatrician choice very easy! Highly recommend if youre a new parent or even a pro!

In the early days, Dr. Berkun was very compassionate and provided guidance to me, as a new mother. Over the years, he has continued to guide us through each milestone and provide us with a sense of security. Dr. Berkun has an excellent bed-side manner, great sense of humor, good judgement, and is very versed in the medical field. In addition, Dr. Berkun offers an online patient portal, will communicate via email and phone, and offers free onsite parking.I wouldnt trade Dr. Berkun for any other!!

I have never encountered such a committed, thorough, amazing pediatrician. Dr. Berkun came highly recommended by my ob-gyn when I was pregnant with my first and I’m so grateful we chose him as our doc. His excellent care began with daily visits to the maternity ward, but at 6 weeks of age, when my son developed a high fever and had to be admitted to the hospital over a weekend, I was blown away by how Dr. Berkun was by our side every step of the way. He went so above and beyond at that time to accurately diagnose and heal my son’s first illness; I’m forever grateful. Since then, he’s guided us through several more ups and downs of various viruses and always stays close to us when something is going on - even when he was traveling! My son loves going to see him too which makes our appointments a breeze. I can’t recommend Dr. Berkun enough!

I use the pediatrics section of High Ridge Family Practice. I have been with Dr. David Burken for five years. He is such a great doctor with my two boys. My 7 year old has been with him since he was 2. I went through three pediatricians with my first child before I came across Dr. Burken. My second child have been with Dr. Burken since he was born. Dr. Burken is very thorough and makes sure he does everything to his knowledge to make sure your child is taken care of. When my youngest was born Dr. Burken was there since the moment he knew he was born. He made sure the hospital was taking care of the baby and doing what they were suppose to be doing.If you are looking for an amazing doctor for your child; I highly recommend him.

Dr Burken is really great! I have two children and he is pediatrician for both. Can’t reccomend it enough. The after hour service is very helpful and someone is always on call even at midnight. The web account is great as well. Health questions and concerns get answered in timely manner. The only con is he is very booked up most of the time. In that case I see one of the family nurse practitioners. They are great as well. The best part is no one rushes. Dr answers my every questions, records every small detail of my both child. He is very thourough, nurses are as well. Highly recommend it!

Dr David Berkun is amazing, he’s experienced, he listens before talking, he cares.I hate that I’m writing this cus he might be too busy but he deserves it.
