I was referred to Dental Care Stamford by my girlfriend and it was the best decision I have made in awhile. Mimi helped me along the way with everything I needed to do get me on track of a healthy mouth. I dont have insurance so having a couple options made me feel comfortable in deciding a plan that best fits me. The whole staff made feel at home and welcomed me with open arms. I also like that they are very flexible with scheduling which was very important today. I would recommend 10/10

My wife had been going to this dentist and I was going to a different dentist. I had never been to her dentists office. I had to go with her for an emergency with one of her teeth. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. The faculty...the office....the atmosphere are very welcoming. Everyone is super nice. I immediately switched dentists and couldnt be happier. From Paula to Christy to all the Dentists and employees in this office make this place a keeper. Ill be a patient for the rest of my life.

A few weeks ago, I had an emergency and had to call for an appointment. I was experiencing so much pain. Given my circumstances, I was not able to go to the dentist in over 10 years. I was immediately scheduled to meet with Dr. Simon, who showed a genuine concern for my dental health. I felt very safe and relieved to have a dentist who really wanted to help.During my initial visit, I found out that I had all these other complications. However, Paula, a treatment coordinator at the practice, had helped me so much in creating a plan that really worked for me. She would walk me through all my procedures and would check in with me whenever I visited, even when we were not scheduled to meet. She has ALWAYS looked out for me.Joanne, one of the hygienists at the practice, was very thorough and patient with me. She also cracks me up.The folks at the front desk, as well as all the dental assistants, were very courteous, patient, kind, and funny. I left every appointment feeling so much better.Everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a great dental care experience.

As someone who has feared dentists her whole life, I walked into the office with trepidation. However, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff, and Mimi came and walked me through the entire process, ensuring I was comfortable. Dr. Simon was very sweet and patient listening to my history and recommended the best options for me. I had a lot of work to get done and needed sedation dentistry due to my fear, and we scheduled it right away since I had an emergency root canal. After the appointment I was taken care of by the staff, and Jules walked me out with my boyfriend. Dr. Simon called later that evening to make sure I was doing alright. If you are worried about getting dental work done because of past dentist trauma, look no further than Dental Care of Stamford. I now look forward to seeing everyone for my next appointment, and I never thought I would hear those words come from my mouth. They are truly the best!

Everyone was amazing! Making the appointments for my family was so easy the staff was friendly and helpful. The hygienists were careful and thorough. The Dr. Patel was nice and gave clear information. We have found our new Dentist!

It was my first visit and honestly, management needs to train their staff on effectively communicating their protocols. I scheduled my appointment via phone and the young lady was lovely. On the date of my appointment, I arrived to be told that I did not have an appointment. Thankfully, I had my appointment letter with me. When I handed the woman my appointment letter, she proceeded to tell me that someone called out and they had called patients to reschedule. This was clearly not true as I had my phone on at all times and did not receive a call, text, or email canceling my appointment. I was not very happy as I made some schedule changes. The woman apologized and rescheduled me to the following weekend. I arrived, checked in and was immediately called in. The Hygienist, Joanne was lovely. Once done, Joanne walked me over to a room to meet with a coordinator. The woman was very nice but I was not happy to be told that that the dentist was overbooked with emergencies and that I would have to come back to see him. Once again, I was disappointed as my time is just as valuable as anyone else’s. New patients should be told what to expect as I have never made an appointment with a dentist that does not see his patients on the same day of the cleaning. Transparency and effective communication is key in helping individuals manage their expectations.

Have had absolutely wonderful experiences with Mimi and Paula helping to coordinate treatment plans. Stacey and Kristie are absolutely most gentle hygienists I have ever had work in my mouth and I am incredibly sensitive. Everyone helped to make the dentist a comfortable experience, even with a phobia of the dentist. Highly recommend for anyone! Their hours are fabulous, and being open 7 days a week gives me peace of mind.

Dr.Roth was excellent and really personable. It was my first time and they let me come in with only a 20 minute notice. Mimi was great as well. Very personable staff!

The dental technicians are amazing! 5 stars for them. However, I think the dentists are always in a rush. Ive been there 2 times and unfortunately both times I felt that they were in a rush. They did not take time to explain the procedure to me. They gave me a brochure about TMJ and thats it. They send me to check out no further explanation from the dentist that diagnosed me. I felt that more information was necessary from the dentist that diagnosed about it, unless to send me to check out and have only information about how much it will cost the procedure. I am not feeling confident about it, and for this reason I will look for a second opinion in somewhere else.

I am impressed by this office. They are friendly and professional. I needed 6 old fillings removed and refilled, it was painless and quick.

One of the best experiences in a dentist office ever. They have the whole building so all parking spaces are available. Waiting room is nice. My hygienist was Kirsten, dentist was Dr. Dennis, and dental assistant was Julia. Barely felt anything the entire time. Doctor listened to my concerns and questions and explained everything to me. Did small steps to check to see when I was ok with his fixes. 4 filling in an hour and it didnt feel like they rushed, either. Very comfortable. Definitely going back. They offer 10% off if you pay in full.

Just had my visitation at Dental Care Of Stamford and as usual The service was prompt and courteous and professional. After having my teeth cleaned by Gabby She noticed a cavity and arrange to fix it immediately for my convenience. How often does that happen in your life. All of my 10 grandchildren and daughters in-law-go to the same dental care. The best compliment I can pay them. Dr. Ragusa repaired my cavity, and much to my surprise, from beginning to end it was painless!

I came in and met with Paula and she set me up with Dr.Dennis. I had two cavities and Julia was super sweet throughout throughout the procedure. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Dennis also seemed very professional, gentle and caring.

Joanne cleaned my teeth. She did such a great job with cleaning and fully educating me about the importance of flossing instead of just saying, you gotta floss more. They gave me lots of resources to help manage my dental care. Dr. Simon was really nice and helped me understand how to manage my long term dental health. I clench a lot so it’s important to me to have a TMJ specialist like Dr. Simon.Paula, the health care coordinator was so personable and really made me feel like I was in the best of hands.

I moved to Stamford in January 2021 and needed a new dentist. Over the past couple of weeks, I have gone here for dental cleaning, cavity treatment, and teeth whitening and the experience has been wonderful. Paula, Julia, Dr. Dennis Ragoza, Dr. Simon, along with everyone else have been absolutely great. The best dental office Ive come to as of yet. The staff is always very friendly and kind. Dr. Patel is my go-to in-house dentist. Shes very thorough, caring, and always makes sure that as a patient for any procedure that Im not in any pain or having any discomfort.

This place is super clean and they do the best job here. I’ve been to lots of dentist and this is my favorite place. Kirsti is the best hygienist she is so much fun and always gives the best treatment. Highly recommend this place over any other. I’ve also had orthodontist work done here years ago and they did a great job. Dr. Simon is also great if you suffer from TMJ or jaw soreness. He wrote a whole book about it.

I had an amazing experience at Dental Care. I had fillings and a cleaning done, and both were no trouble at all! Dr. Roth and the team made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process (compared to my old dentist) and I thoroughly enjoyed getting healthy teeth. Also, the office was very clean which is super big nowadays. Overall, I highly recommend.

Ive been a patient of DCS since the early 1990s. Ive had bridges and crowns, root canals, and cavities filled. These guys are supremely professional and do solid dentistry. They stay current in modern dental technologies if not ahead of the curve. They are reliable and their DDSs and DMDs do high quality work. Plus, they are full service so your dont necessarily have to go elsewhere for specialty dental services like endodontics. All of this is what you should want in your dentist. Dont we swayed by people who complain that DCS is a business and engages in sales. Dentistry *is* a business and should be run like one. That means hiring top quality professional staff, training and education, and quality standards---especially important in health professionals if youre vigilant about your health.I have no personal or business relationship with DCS---just a patient who has observed them and their work over 25+ years. Their work has been worth every dollar Ive spent. OTOH Ive spent tens of thousands of dollars for family members at Manhattan dentists who did equally solid work but at higher prices.

Let me just start by saying: I do not enjoy the dentist one bit and have actively avoided going! But the Dental Care of Stamford team has changed my opinion and Im actually looking forward to my next appointment. Kirsti (Dental Hygienist), Daniella (X-Ray Technician), Janelle (Dental Technician), and Dr. Patel (Dentist) were awesome to work with. I ended up being there longer than I intended because we were all laughing so much and having a great time. I just wanted to leave them a great review because I truly appreciate how they treated me. I came to Dental Care of Stamford complaining of jaw popping (that I unfortunately waited 5 years to have examined), and Dr. Simon and his team (thank you Paula, Albina, Maria, and Jules!) exceeded all expectations during my TMJ treatment. The treatment I received was the least invasive treatment available for TMJ (in simplest terms, smoothing areas of the teeth causing malocclusion, making small changes at multiple appointments), and before deciding to move forward I was given a wealth of information so I could be as informed as possible when making this decision. They encouraged I ask questions and made sure I fully understood the goals and outcomes I would see from my TMJ treatment, and these were reiterated upon each visit which maximized my comfort.Although talking about about logistics and payment for dental treatments is never something one gets excited about, one aspect that I think really stands out is that this treatment spanned over 7 or 8 visits for me (I think the average is 5 or 6 for most) but the cost was set for the overall treatment. The reason I feel the need to bring this up is that I felt the number of visits/treatment plan was really focused on me and what I needed, not a deadline set by the cost of individual visits.By the end of my treatment I felt that my teeth fit together in great harmony, and my jaw finally felt it was able to relax. Make no mistake, there is still popping in my jaw as the damage to the joint is irreversible, but now I can rest assured that I won’t be causing any further damage. I only wish I had known this sooner so I could have received this treatment in the earlier stages!Also important to note- I travelled 4 hours for these appointments and it was extremely worth it. During the time of my treatment i was able to also get a cleaning and have some cavities filled (thank you Joann and Dr. Patel). I do have family in the area so I’ve decided that since I like it here so much I will be returning for cleanings when I am in town to visit!Thanks again everyone!

As a first time patient I had a really amazing experience. The facility follows thorough sanitization protocol, everything was cleaned, everyone was masked, it felt very safe.Came in for a cleaning, but turns out I had several cavities that needed fillings— and I was able to do it all during this visit, so I didn’t have to come back.Dr. Ragoza was so amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and gentle and made sure I was comfortable and also that I was aware of everything going on. After my visit he called me to see how I was doing, and to ask my thoughts on the visit.Special shout-out to Mimi, Julia, and Irena for showing me amazing care and holding my hand for the injection!!!Highly recommend

Everyone at Dental care has been so amazing through my braces procedure. I went through 3 different orthodontist for braces consultation and backed out every time, but after going to dental care, I went through with it because I felt in the right place. I honestly never thought people can be this genuinely nice. I am glad I chose them because I couldnt be happier with my results. I feel like a whole new person.

Dental Care of Stamford, where do I begin??? I first arrived to Dental Care Kids with my granddaughter and after meeting Dr. Ariel I knew this was the place she would be coming to for everything. Then I found out they also had and office for adults in the same building and told the rest of my Family that I had found their new Dentist Office.Which brings me back to Dental Care of Stamford and traveling all the way from West Haven. On my first visit I met MiMi the treatment coordinator, she was the first person I sat down with ❤️❤️❤️ Great, funny and it shows that she loves what she does. Dr Ragoza was great and nice to look at 😊, he was very nice and direct in what I needed. Since I found Dental Care of Stamford my husband, my daughter and her husband come here as well. I love this place and I know you will too!!***I wanted to add that I have not had any work done except X-rays and a consultation.

Great first visit! I was hesitant about trying a new dental office, because I’ve had such bad experiences in the past but this was the right choice. Everyone in the office was attentive, nice, and knowledgeable. Irena did my cleaning and I believe it was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Kira did my X-rays and in contrast to my other experiences, was extremely gentle. Dr. Dennis was very good about answering my questions, explaining everything, and gave me options about how to move forward to fix the issues I had. Ilena was my dental advisor and was all-around happy and pleasant person to be around, she helped me with setting appointments and financing my future visits. Overall such a good experience. It was just my first time and I will update my review if things completely change for my other visits, but from an initial first impression, they were amazing!!!

Jules took incredible care of me! Dr. Simon made me super comfortable. I just said I had a great time at the dentist, who would have thought ?!

I will only recount the experiences I have had for the past few weeks. It started with a crown lengthening which needed a recovery time of approximately six weeks. During the six week period, I needed to have an impression made for the permanent crown. That procedure seemed to go fine. Then it took two dental assistants four (4) tries to make the temporary crown. Each time that they did the impression for the temporary crown, they literally had to drill the extra goo out of my cheeks. Then the strangest thing happened. She popped the temporary crown into my mouth for a fit and she couldnt extract it for bonding. So I left with out it being glued in. I came home thinking that this was going to be problematic.The last phase of the procedure was 4/19/21...extracting the temporary crown and replacing with the permanent crown. I made sure to ask the dental assistant if I would need to be numbed up (cream + injections). She assured me that it wasnt necessary for this part of the procedure. I would feel some pressure but it wouldnt be painful. Well, she attempted to extract the temporary crown and she was unsuccessful. The doctor also tried and was unsuccessful. It got to the point where he had to literally drill the temporary crown out of my mouth. Please note that even at this point, I was still hoping to do without being numbed but clearly needed it. I started to made noises as the constant tugging, drilling and pressure continued. At one point I managed to ask... why is this so difficult?Somehow, the dentist finally gave me those numbing shots and by this time I had convulsed into tears, my lips were trembling, I was shaking like a leaf... As a grown woman I was embarrassed but after recounting my experience to two close friends, I was told that this was traumatic to them and they hadnt even experienced it themselves.Dont go there for anything other than a cleaning and dont let them sell you any of their services. I grudgingly did this procedure because theyd been suggesting it for 2+years. I should have followed my gut and not done the procedure at all.

Never been more at home at a dental office in quite some time every fear and doubt I had the immediately talked me threw it and now I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for anything regarding my teeth.

My son arrived to have his wisdom teeth extracted. I was told during his consulting AND before his extraction that he would be given laughing gas. They NEVER gave him laughing gas. So he experienced the procedure while under a tremendous amount of stress. Mind you, I paid $160 for the laughing gas! I am extremely upset and will be calling the office first thing tomorrow morning.

The experience at Dental Care of Stamford was a long (expected due to the nature of my case ) but a great one. My expectations were beyond met. The office staff, particularly Marie (Dental assistant) whom was attentive to task and refused to provide nothing less than excellence in workmanship and patient care etiquettes during the course of my case. Dr. Roth whom work with me relentlessly to achieve my expectations and goals which ultimately produced excellent results; and whom was flexible and without restrictions to receive my concerns or objections. Dr. Rool whom was transparent, empathic, attentive and provided excellent workmanship. Dr. Neichin whom was charismatic, respectively straight forwards and respectively transparent. In conjunction to the above, Dr. Neichin was beyond honest and fair in that, there were justifiably opportunities to capitalize on my case and rather then electing to take that route, he provided more cost effective alternatives if the situation called to be addressed. Juliana (Dental assistant) was pleasant, transparent, sociable, provided good patient care etiquettes and patient. Alexandra ( Office Manager) was diplomatic, flexible and just when pertaining to service fee and etc.

Hello Dr Simon, For your records after my TMj teeth scaling and jaw alignment my health has instantly improved. No pain in my jaw and no throbbing. The phlegm was pouring out of my head last night. My voice is so clear. My 3 chins have disappeared since there is no more swelling..I look younger! My posture is much improved. My face is not swollen anymore! My smile is better too! Wow! Do not trust Dr. Jerry Simon. He takes advantage of new clients who are already vulnerable. They brand themselves as stopdentalfear.com and then put new patients through unnecessary treatment like extra fillings in healthy teeth. This should be considered malpractice. In addition to being well above the average cost of treatments they state they take your insurance but dont actually tell you it is out of network when they check. They hide behind a large amount of high rated posts conjured up from incentives from their childrens practice downstairs. Not to mention the old blonde front desk receptionist is incredibly pushy about booking follow up appointments and makes you feel uncomfortable with her condescending remarks. She makes you feel bad about yourself for needing treatment immediately yet takes days and days to respond to emails. Nice work ethic.All of this caused for a disgusting experience but the only thing worse than that, and Dr. Simons condescending attitude of course, is the fact that you have to stare at his 30+ year old interview recordings on their TVs. Their office is focused more on emphasizing his self-centered, conceited, cocky personality instead of their clients.2 stars because I dont know the other specialists in this office.

Started going to Dental Care of Stamford a few months ago after years of fearing going to the dentist. My teenage years were the worst experience and I had a tremendous fear of pain so I had prolonged my need of going to the dentist. Might I add, not the best idea... but I needed an extraction and it had to happen and im so happy I walked into this office! The staff is amazing and super friendly!My amazing experience started with Paula, treatment coordinator, she has a bubbly personality and makes you feel so welcome. After getting scans and looking at what needed to be done she and Dr. Ragoza helped plan out my course of treatment within the next few months. Always very upfront with costs. She reassured me that Dr. Dennis Ragoza was the best and boy was she NOT wrong!Dr. Dennis is phenomenal! I have now done a double extraction as well as a filling with him and not a single bit of pain. He was so attentive to my needs and was consistently checking up on me during the procedures to ensure I was ok and felt ok. He explains whats he going to do before the procedure and usually during and that has helped tremendously. I have not gone to the dentist in years due to my fear and anxiety. My fiance convinced me to go to Dental Care of Stamford and they completely transformed how I feel about the dentist. Dr. Roth made sure I was 100% comfortable and Ilena my treatment coordinator has guided me through all my appointments! Would absolutely recommend for those with or without fear of the dentist.

I had to come here for an extreme dental emergency and Dr. Ragoza and Mimi were amazing in helping me find the right financial plan and treatment to fix my immediate problem that my regular dentist wouldnt have been able to fix!

I got my wisdom tooth removed, I must say it was an incredible experience. The staff is so friendly and they will tell you exactly what you need, you are in the hands of true professionals. I am really impressed, I’ve been to many dental care offices and the CARE aspect has always been missing, until I found you guys here. I got my wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Rools, my hygienist Kirsti, my full time dentist is Dr. Simon, and Maria who assists him! Having headaches since i was in middle school was really hard, i never wanted to go to school or do anything at all . Absolutely hated getting up every morning. I was always grinding my teeth them & my jaw was always sore but nobody ever said they thought anything was wrong until i came to Dr Simon. His first look in my mouth and at my bite, he asked Leanne if she knew what was wrong, because i had come in and thought it was my wisdom teeth but nope it was TMJ. I absolutely recommend this place 100%. The people here are amazing especially Dr. Simon who i owe a big thank you too for helping stop these headaches and i also just want to say i adore all the lovely ladies like Maria and Jules who have helped me this past month. And a big big Thank you to Paula who has helped us since we walked through the door ! Shes the best and will do ANYTHING in her power to help.

The person who handles the financials and patients is “just” good at talking and giving you the false hopes. They submitted wrong and incomplete documents to insurance, I followed up with them at least 25 times, not exaggerating. I had to always follow up on each step of the process and frustration STILL no results.PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DON’T PAY UPFRONT, GETTING INTO FALSE SMILES AND DISCOUNTS. IF YOU DO, DON’T EXPEXT THE AMOUNT IN RETURN, AS THEY DON’T CARE, ONCE THEY GET MONEY.I lost ~$3500 due to this hospital and careless documents submission to the insurance. One of the worst experience and worst dental hospital i visited so far. They don’t even realize people work HARD to earn the money...I gave up hopes on them already.

The practice is taking so many precautions to keep everyone safe from COVID19. It felt as safe as possible for both patient and dentist.Aside from that, the practice was so friendly and professional. Very happy to have this group in my backyard.

It’s always a pleasure coming to this clinic and being greeted by a very friendly staff. Dr. Simon and his team always does an excellent job. I have been going there since 2017, did a lot of procedures, from my six-month smile braces, to implant, filling, etc. I’m always satisfied and happy with the outcome. Recently, I was undergoing some serious medical issues that involves my mouth and Dr. Simon never hesitated and went above and beyond to do further research and call a colleague to discuss a better treatment plan for my case. I truly appreciate all the work the he and his team does. His compassion for his patients is unmatched. I always look forward coming to this clinic, seeing Stacey, LeeAnn, Paula, Maria, Tosha, they are all like a family to me! Plus, their clinic is at the highest level of cleanliness. Very average, low level clinic. Good receptionists but staff and dentists are very questionable. Some nurses have attitude, so be ready when you in pain they laughing around, checking their facebook and keep asking about money, payment, insurance and payment non stop. It is what it is- Stamford low level dental clinic. Also can put you on 3-5 xrays with no reason, just because of insurance

I have been with Dental Care of Stamford since June 2020 and could not be happier. Everyone is polite and KIND. Treatment Coordinator Ilena is great - shes fun and explains payment, etc. very clearly.Even if you dont like going to the dentist, you dont mind seeing everyone at Dental Care of Stamford! .

I did a food delivery here for one of the doctor through Uber eat, upfront delivery tip was $ 11:58 and after delivery this cheap people give $1 as tip took 45 minutes go from Stamford to Darien back Stamford for delivery. What this people think ? Did they work $1 ? Please don’t do any drivers like this it’s humble request. We have a family to feed also

This dentist practice assured me that they took my insurance. Assured me procedures they recommended would be covered. They offered me a discount if I paid upfront and assured me my insurance would reimburse me for a good portion of the rest. Well, surprise, my insurance said they are out of network and they didnt even call to check. So, that means I am out of pocket with nothing covered. Asked them why they assured me that they took my insurance but never called and confirmed it with me insurance company. Replied, We should have done that. Im not sure why it didnt happen this time. Any offer of a discount, any offer to help rectify this situation they put me in? No. No apology. Just, well, we can offer you a no-interest payment plan...and then NEVER followed up with said plan. JUST UNPROFESSIONAL. Sadly it seems they only care about getting your money. Be very careful and dont believe what they tell you. I should have been more suspicious when they had me spin a wheel for a discount if I did a positive google review for them right then and there before getting treatment. I recommend avoiding this business.
