I’ve been treated by Dr. Inglis for the past three years due to sever back pain issues. Before having treatments at his office I was unable to stand from a seated position without experiencing much pain and tears. Dr. Inglis assessed my condition and orchestrated visits that eventually had me moving around without pain.To this date I haven’t experience the degree of pain that I once had and am able to lead an active and pain free life.I even had some of my family members being treated by Dr. InglisA friend of mine recommended that I see Dr. Inglis because she had experienced positive results and so I agreed and am so thankful. He really worked a miracle with me.In addition, his staff is always so friendly and and knowledgable, always caring.I would recommend Dr. Inglis to anyone who is in pain.

I had knee surgery in June of 2019, in November I stumbled off a truck, had been in pain since then, I had gone to see my orthopedic doctor, which gave me a shot, but didnt take the pain away. Dr Inglis adjusted me, my knee pain is 90% gone. I had been to him years ago, Im glad I received a mailing from the office. The staff, Doris, front desk, is very nice and accommodating. A God send!!!

I read the previous review and my experience with Dr. Inglis was just the opposite. I thought him wanting to take an X-Ray of my spine was the right (professional) thing to do. I find Dr. Inglis to go about his work as an engineer. He doesn’t do the usual (harsh) chiropractic adjustment that other chiropractors do. He uses a tool that applies the adjustment to the specific vertebrae he needs to move. He might use it in many spots or just a few. He asks me to move my head from side to side to see the effect on my spine. His approach is not just to do therapy but to correct the misalignments in the spine. For every patient that would be different. For example, my son had a back injury and Dr. Inglis used spinal traction to create more space between vertebrae and only adjusted the specific spots to bring his spine into proper alignment. Dr. Inglis told me that realigning my spine would provide long term benefits and with occasional tuneups it’s alignment would persist. I have had many sessions with him and my back feels very good.Because we as lay people don’t know the whole system of what Dr. Inglis does I can see why previous reviewer would think that all he wanted was to come back and pay for another session, but that simply is not the case. I believe Dr. Inglis is a gifted person who has integrity.

One day I woke up and could not get out of bed. I struggled with the pain. Every day tasks were timely. I felt disabled and handicapped in my late 40s. A co-worker recommended Inglis Chiropractic Center. I went. Dr. Inglis patiently and thoroughly explained what was happening. He told me to have patience and that he could help with the pain. He has a wonderful bedside manner and the staff is very friendly and understanding. Currently, the pain is gone and it is like a miracle. Im even considering going back to the gym and dance studio.

Six years ago I crawled into Dr. Richard Inglis office. His treatment gave me tremendous relief from pain. What kind of pain? Before seeing Dr. Inglis my back ached, my neck was in great pain, and my knees rebeled against something as simple as walking. In many ways Dr. Inglis has helped to give me my life back. He is skillful, caring, and very professional. I see Dr. Inglis twice a month. And my time with him is well worth the investment! In fact, I cannot imagine returning to a life of frozen joints and neck and back pain. I was getting old very quickly and now I feel great.Thank you Dr. Inglis!

Just had my first and last appointment with Dr. Inglis. The office had a sign that said review us on Google, so I will..The young lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and very helpful and friendly. She is the reason that I gave a one-star rating instead of a zero-star rating.I have had lower back problems for months now. My overall experience with chiropractors (Ive seen 2 others) in the past has been positive and theyve been mostly effective, so I figured I would try Dr. Inglis since his office is close by. I did not have a positive experience.Dr. Inglis spent a total of 5 minutes examining me before he told me I needed to go get an x-ray downstairs..I told him that I have had both an MRI and an x-ray done in the past few weeks (since Ive seen about 3 other doctors about these issues) and that it was not necessary to have another. He disagreed and said I should get one right then.I told him I did not want to have to pay for another x-ray when I have perfectly good and recent imaging that is already in the Stamford Hospital system. Up until I said this, he was mostly friendly, and then his tone completely changed. He told me to go get the images and come back for another appointment tomorrow. I asked him if there was anything he could do today and he replied sarcastically, so what, you want me to guess?I simply wanted a basic adjustment or any sort of therapy, but he simply wanted to get me out of his office without doing anything whatsoever.. so that I can come back the next day and pay for another appointment.Ive never had a chiropractor not able to do anything whatsoever for me simply because he wanted to charge me for another appointment the next day. I found this to be unprofessional and it certainly cast him as disingenuous and shady.I do not have a major back issue. I just wanted a little bit of therapy, just a few minutes, just some basic attention to the pain, and he was unable to do that and acted in a childish way when he realized I was not going to pay for an unnecessary service. After this experience, I would urge any of my friends and family, and anyone else who might be considering Dr. Inglis, to find another, more reputable option for their chiropractic care.

Inglis method brings immediate relief to any pain you go in with. I had severe back pain from an injury for 4 weeks that chiropractors, acupuncturist, pain doctors could not relieve until I was able to get back to CT to see Inglis (I live in FL now). Just one session and I felt I could move again. Three more and the pain was gone. Other than my close friends living there, he is one of the reasons I miss Stamford.

Wonderful staff and excellent chiropractic work... Ive been experiencing a variety of pains including tennis elbow, achy knees, wrist pain, and neck kinks, and with just one visit he puts me back into proper shape. Its incredible that with a quick crack here or activator push there the pain is gone. (the activator is a painless device that is replacing some of the old-school flying knee and elbow techniques lol) I highly recommend Inglis Chiropractic to anyone and everyone, because even if youre not experiencing bad pains, your body is constantly undergoing daily pressures, or even genetic ones that can negatively effect you over time if not reversed now. Personal, Professional and unParalleled.

It was great!I had broken my heel bone and expected to just walk once it had healed. Much to my surprise that is not how this broken bone business works.Dr. Inglis found several bones out in my foot in which he adjusted then he took great care to give me proper exercises to strengthen the muscles that had been dormant for over 4 months. After 2 weeks, I threw away my cane. Yeah! But there was a little hitch left in my step so he fitted me for orthotics which I received yesterday. OMG! I couldnt believe how great it felt to walk again!!! Thanks Dr. Inglis for caring to get it right!
