Recently moved back to the area and was in desperate need of a new salon. After reading some reviews, I chose La Jolie and I am so happy about that decision! My appointment was with Margaret and she was absolutely incredible (as is everyone else!). Or was a great experience and a perfect cut. I felt very safe and comfortable inside. They still require masks (which is one of the reasons why I chose to book a haircut here) and appear to keep the piece very clean. Looking forward to going back! Highly recommend!

Had a really upsetting appointment with La Jolie. I left the salon with what I thought was OK. I was told the stylist I worked with had years of experience, they even showed me swatches of the colors. My color was bright orange and no blend. I paid an arm and a leg which will not even be refunded to me after I sent photos. I wish that it was handled differently but I recommend having better communication, someone who can actually pay attention to what they did to your hair and want their customers to be happy. I am disappointed with the service they allowed.

Amazing salon, a bit pricy but you pay for good service. I’ve had a hair cut and waxing done and never left disappointed. They are my go to salon now!

I had one of the best experiences at this salon! I went there pretty blonde, but wanted to go lighter, so the stylist and I went through a variety of options, colors, and prices before doing my hair. Unfortunately, the color ended up not being the way I was picturing it, but it did fit my description, so I didnt feel comfortable complaining or saying anything in front of other clients. The price was exactly what youd expect at a high end salon like this, zero complains.I did call the next day and the manager who picked up the phone was delighted I had taken the time to tell him I was unhappy with the color. He then immediately asked me if I was available that same day to redo my hair. I was very happy to hear that this would be at no cost for me, mind you, this is almost a 4 hour process of color/work. I showed up later that day and the same stylist came to me with one of the owners to go over what I didnt like the first time. They handled all of this in a very professional and kind manner. I was so happy to be there again. On top of all that, the owner sat next to me and offered to give me some shampoo and treatment samples and a WHOLE bottle of a conditioner. I was in awe with the attention. Needless to say, Im going back tonight for a haircut with my boyfriend, who by the way gets 25% off for being his first time there and today they have that special discount too!Love this place! Love the staff and Stephanie who did my hair :) Trust me, they take the happy client policy very seriously.

My daughter had a beautiful hair cut with Margaret who is lovely and I highly recommend. However, the salon manager Alex left me cold after my visit. He told me they dont need clients like me. I have never been treated so poorly and been spoken to so condescendingly after just spending my hard earned money at the salon.

I got a haircut from Tish and she did an amazing job. She did exactly what I asked for. Her styling technique is excellent. The salon altogether is very good. Everyone is warm and ambient. The receptionist was very helpful and patient when I started asking bunch of questions to her.

Excellent service. Haircut with junior stylist is much cheaper than other salons in the area but senior and master stylist will give you a better haircut at a higher cost. Friendly greetings as you come in, smock on, drinks offered, then short wait for stylist. At some point they offer products for you to buy. They dont push to sell to hard but some underlined pressure. Very nice owners. Downtown Stamford street parking. Email confirmation of salon appointment. Emails re salon events. Signature required on form before color process performed by stylist. Some stylist who left the job for whatever reason comes back and work there again. They have long term clients that I know.

This is my 3rd visit at La Jolie Salon, and I have vested with Tish as my stylist. She is experienced and supportive of my decisions, but also recommends the best option for my hair type if I am not on the right track. Honestly, shes revived my hair completely! After so many salon experiences from a younger age, I have not met anyone as trained in hair as Tish performs. She is just wonderful, and so are the rest of the staff. Complimentary coffee and snacks are also a delight (especially on a windy day).Thank you La Jolie!

Got a haircut here yesterday with new talent Laura! I have to say Best haircut Ive ever gotten. My hair looked healthy and it dried naturally with no frizz and perfect waves from one haircut no product or anything actually amazed at what a good haircut can do

First time there and wow. I wish I found this salon when I had my wedding. Everyone is super nice and professional here and super clean. Parking would be in Burlington. You definitely wont find street parking. This will be the salon I will go to now.

Even after making an appointment 4 days before I waited for 30 mins to start the haircut, my stylist was Charlotte. So no point of making appointment days ahead by giving la Jolie credit card details. I feel I was discriminated becoz of my color, for the same service other customers got more attention than me. I would not recommend to any of my friends.

Staff and service are awesome. Environment is very pleasant. Spectacular hair style and cut. They do follow up by email to review them and are open to suggestions. Highly recommended!

They do absolutely fantastic work here. I’ve been going for a year now and am always very pleased with how my hair turns out. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is there’s really no parking. You can park at a meter if you find it or you can park at the target down the street, but they don’t have any dedicated parking for clients. Kind of inconvenient.

From the moment I walked in the door the staff went out of their way to be kind and welcoming. Sam gave me a fantastic haircut and meticulously curled and styled my hair when the cut was complete. I will definitely return to this salon!

This place tries too hard. They seem to have a constant turnover of new staff at the front desk. My haircut was just okay. Had I known what I was getting myself into I would’ve waited to book else where.A pretentious atmosphere. I won’t be back.

I went to La Jolie when dying my hair for the first time. Stylist was completely unprofessional. At each step during the process, she asked a coworker for how to do the step. As a professional who had previously consulted with me about what I wanted, I would expect her to have done her research beforehand. She also had me give MY opinion about how a dye would mix with my hair color, knowing that this was the first time that I was dying my hair. As a professional stylist, again, I would expect that SHE should be advising ME and giving HER expert opinion on how to apply different colors to attain the look that I desired. At the end of it, we agreed that the color was not what I had wanted, so she said that she would check in with me in a week to see how the color had transformed since the appointment. Did I ever receive a follow up call? No. On top of all the unprofessional treatment, I was overcharged well beyond the worst case scenario price I signed off on. All the while, her coworkers glared at me because of the hair color that I requested. Horrible first dying experience, which makes me not want to dye my hair ever again, although I am very unhappy with the outcome. Will not be returning.

So far I have been there only twice: for eyebrow wax, and a haircut. Both times the service was very good, very professional, friendly environment. Loved both the brows and the haircut.

La Jolie is a very special place. The hearts working here are tender and truly care for others. I highly recommend stopping by and getting a fantastic haircut from Tenzin!

I have been a client of La Jolie Salon for more than 25 years. I have always been very pleased with the services I have received and really enjoy my visits there. Cheryl gives me great haircuts and since I’ve started to go gray she’s been coloring my hair too. She has matched my own hair color so well that I don’t think anyone knows that I’ve got any gray hair. My two college aged daughters are also satisfied La Jolie clients. They have used various different stylists for haircuts and to have their hair styled for prom and other special events. We no longer live in Stamford but we’ve never considered moving to another salon. I highly recommend La Jolie for haircuts and color, the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Went here for the first time last weekend and got a new style/cut that i am LOVING! A big change for me but i could not be happier! Cant wait to go back.

I recently visited La Jolie Salon for the first time and was introduced to my stylist, Lorraine. She listened to my needs and gave me a fantastic haircut and matched my haircolor perfectly. The experience was both professional and pampering. Im looking forward to my next appointment with Lorraine, and will bring my sister too!

Cut took 2 hours, was still uneven (literal big chunks sticking out), called Tuesday trying to get a quick fix was told to call Wednesday, called Wednesday, was told to call Saturday. Just bad.

I Am new to Stamford I needed my hair taken care of badly. When I started searching this place caught my attention with all the great reviews. Called in went for a consultation and I felt in love with the place. The staff is very attentive as soon as you walk thru the door, offering you water, a seat etc. Everybody seems very professional and ethic. I made my appt for a haircut with Tenzin she educated me on everything understood what I wanted and treated me very well. My favorite par was the shampoo, Lisa was great with her shampoo and gave me an awesome massage. The shampoo area is very relaxing and you just feel so comfortable. I was very pleased with my hair I was nervous because I am so picky but it was exactly what I wanted. Will keep going for as long as I live in stamford. Highly recommend !!
