Dr. Pronesti is not only an expert audiologist but also an amazing caring person. You never feel rushed, he takes as much time as is needed to make all the correct adjustments. He is available by phone and email and addresses all your concerns. He even took the time to send me a technical articles when I had some questions about directional hearing aids.Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to recommend Dr. Pronesti, he deserves many more! Best in CT, and best prices in CT, if not in the whole countryMy old hearing aids died in January, so I have been looking for a new hearing aids for a little while. In my search I have come across number of Audiologists and Hearing Aids Specialists, but none of them are as good, or as easy to get in contact with as James Pronesti is!My biggest pet peeve with any Audiologist and Hearing Aid Specialist is that they post their phone number so we can call them, its like they are not realizing that hard-of-hearing means has hard time hearing, and most likely prefers email communications. The best thing about Pronesti Audiology is that they are easy to contact through their website, and they answer emails promptly.Also, their prices are like no other, and like nowhere else. In my twelve years of wearing hearing aids, I have come to realize that majority of Audiologists and Hearing Aid Specialists are in it for money. I purchased my 1st hearing aids Widex Senso Diva in 2004, and the Audiologist sold them to me for $8,000.00. My most recent hearing aids were sold to me for $7,000.00, and I have come to find that even most up to date hearing aids at Pronesti Audiology are sold for half the price. I just wish that I knew about Pronesti Audiology sooner, as they would have saved me so much money, and would have saved me from so much anxiety in trying to contact Audiologists on the phone, all the while being hard-of-hearing and not being able to talk on the phone.Oh, have to add that the most recent place I went to, the receptionist actually requested that I call her, even after I told her repeatedly that I havent spoken on the phone in years, and am unable to understand person over the phone. So, kudos to you James Pronesti! I am just glad that I come across your practice, and glad that ethical Audiologist like you who are not only after the money, actually do exist!!

Ive dealt with hearing aids for many years now and I have rarely been happy with my Audiologist for a variety of reasons. Often they are really nice folks but really lack some transparency on whats going on with the purchase and fitting of aids. Not the case with Pronseti - great people, great service and best of all no BS - all straight talk - cant do much better than that.
