I can’t say enough good things about Ruby Electric. Their electrician, Harley, was prompt, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed an issue we had in very minimal time. I very much recommend this company.

I had to have the weather head replaced on my house. Ruby installed the original one in 2005. This service was completed in 2 days. This is my 5th time using this company. They always do a professional job and the job completed expertly.

I get that they are busy but the attitude and lack of communication was a big issue. I repeatedly was told they may be available a particular week but couldnt get a set date. I have a job that could send me to Chicago and requires me to be available for various meetings that we schedule weeks in advance, I need a schedule to work with. Everytime I spoke with them the seemed irritated I would even ask. I know $3,000 isn’t a lot to them but it is to me. When I get charged more just to be told some things can’t be done after the initial walkthrough and find out that portions of my bid were not communicated to the electrician assigned to me so he thinks I’m pulling something, is very irritating. Further, outlets were not installed flush with the wall and it just looks bad. The chime they used for my doorbell is awful and I switched over to using my security system chime instead. This company needs to save everyone some trouble and stop doing residential and just focus on commercial. If you are looking for an electrician, Ryan Electric is much better at giving you a date to plan around and they do a good job of communicating all aspects of the job and costs. Lastly they were just nice to talk to and didnt make you feel like you were wasting their time.

Ruby Electric was called to do extensive outside lighting work for maintenance and repair stuff and we were very happy with the work done!! Dan came out and was very personable and did a great job!! He had alot of experience and had to manage maneuvering high places and did great!

Wont let me give zero stars. Very unhappy with company. Called and made an appointment, took off work to be home, came half hour before scheduled appointment time, waited 30 minutes, no call, no show, its now a full 24 hrs after my appointment , still havent heard from them! Guess my little job wasnt important enough! Wont call again or recommend.
