Best dentist Ive been to and Im 31. Very patient with my kids. Not long waiting and clean.

I was very impressed with this dental office. Each patient gets a separate room with a television (great for an anxious child or adult who needs a distraction).The exam and cleaning were thorough and efficient. The staff were pleasant and friendly.I definitely recommend Optim Dental!

My children were knew patients at the office and the service was great! They were patient and very attentive with the kids which can be difficult at times. Everyone’s customer service was great from the front desk to the dental assistants 🙂

Worst place ever. Drs dont speak english,cant understand a thing they say. Rough as hell. Place should be called Hacks R Us or Dr.No Mercy tooth yanking palace wouldnt take my dog here for a cleaning let alone have them touch me again.

Doctor was fantastic, I was scared of needles and of the Dentist. Ive been coming here for years. Ill be coming back he worked on my with little or know pain. I had 5 extractions.

With only having one dentist in the building right now , he still managed to get me in within a couple days, made my appt showed up , got me back to the room in between patients he was able to come and numb my mouth for the extraction, took a matter of about 15 mins or so to get the tooth out did a great job , I would recommend! Plus if you don’t have insurance they still will get you in at a REASONABLE price !

Didn’t have an appointment, but Optim worked me in on a Saturday. Had to wait awhile, but was grateful to be seen. Saw Dr Tadakamalla and was impressed by his professionalism and compassion. I didn’t expect anything more that a stronger antibiotic than I had been taking, but I think I found my new dentist. Although I was already set up with an endo referral, he offered to set me up with a different endodontist to see me sooner. Overall, a great first impression and experience.

The nurses were very friendly and the dentist was very helpful. Cant wait to go back to get the rest of my teeth pulled and hopefully get a full set of dentures. I would definitely recommend Optim dental to my family and friends.

If you are behind for the day as a business and you have scheduled appointments for clients maybe your receptionist could call those clients and explain to them that it’s going to be longer wait time so the client can plan accordingly or even reschedule. I understand emergency procedures come up and other obligations have to be met when certain situations come up. But to wait outside in my car for almost an hour and consistently told several times that it will be another “10” minutes over and over again is absolutely ridiculous. Please learn and teach your colleagues to communicate better to your clients in regards to this. The only reason we are giving 2 stars and not 1 is because this has never been an issue in the past and typically had good visits. We will try again in the near future but if it happens again, we won’t be back.

Our appointment was at 3 and we arrived 10 minutes early but we didn’t get taken back to a room until about 3:30. But then we sat there until about 3:53 before they came in to clean my sons teeth. Took about 5 minutes to do the bite wings. Only took about 3 minutes to clean his teeth as all they could do is polish near the gums as he had braces on. Then we sat there for another 25 minutes before the doctor came in and spent a couple of minutes looking at his teeth. All in all it was an HOUR AND A HALF for about 10 minutes worth of exam and cleaning. The staff was nice enough but it was very irritating to take my son out of school early, to be there on time, only to have sit around for an hour and 20 minutes because of poor time management. If I would have showed up late they could have refused to see us but they can keep people sitting around with no consequences at all? Why isn’t there better time management here? They did the same thing with my other son too and expected him to keep waiting around on them when he told them he had to get to work after waiting on them for an hour. They should not over book and keep people waiting for longer than 10-15 minutes total during the whole appointment. Whoever is in charge of this office needs fired or sent to some sort of office management training!

I started with getting 10 teeth pulled, Everyone was very comforting and nice! I have not had a bad visit! In a couple weeks I get to try I. My new teeth, I’m so excited and grateful for Dr and his staff!I now have a full set of dentures! I look and feel amazing! Thank you Optim Dental

Highly recommended! Dr Avadhani and his assistant, Amy, did a great job on my mouth. He saved my tooth, that had very little left from a cavity (I was heartbroken as it was one in the front of my mouth) and made it look incredible. You cant tell its not my real tooth. Through explanations about dental issues were discussed by the Doctor as well as resolutions for treatment. Myself and two children felt relaxed and comfortable and had the best experience! And the day before our scheduled appointments, I had to reschedule. The receptionist was understanding and courteous to my having to reschedule.Check back next month for part 2 of my review - our first visit.

I use to go there and but they closed the Springfield office. I enjoyed the staff, especially Monica. She always made me feel comfortable no matter how scared I was about getting work done on my teeth.Now they have reopened in Peoria and I was going to start back to them. I was looking forward to seeing Monica. However, I found out she is no longer working there. This is a loss to Optim Dental as she was one of the most caring and knowledgeable employees there. She could always put me at ease with my dental anxiety.I will miss Monica and because she is no longer working there, I will not be going there now or in the future!

I am an older customer who changed dentists and starting going to Optim at their Chatham Road location this year. The office is very clean. The dentist and staff are professional, patient, and caring. Five stars.

My whole left side of my mouth was hurting so bad and had already been to 2 other dentist after they told me they couldn’t pull it, optim dental was super amazing... they squeezed me into his super busy schedule and took care of my pain!!! I totally recommend them. I know I will be going back and bringing my daughter with me.

Dr. Tadakamalla is an experienced and focused dentist professional. I appreciate his attention to detail.I visited Dr.Tad due to unexpected pain in tooth. I was off due to pain and was worried about losing my vacation.All thanks to Dr. Tad my schedule is not disturbed.He extracted the tooth with ease left me with subtle pain and that too vanished by next day morning.Front desk staff are welcoming and makes you feel comfortable in dentist office.

This has hot to be the best dentist Ive seen. I do not do well with needles and needless to say I had A panic attack in the chair but the staff helped calm my nerves and I was able to get my tooth pulled with no further problems on my half. Thank you Optim Dental for taking such great care of me.

Had the worst experience ever. My first appointment was 3 weeks ago. They made me wait in the waiting room for hour and half then went inside and waited to be seen for one hour. I had to tell the dentist assistant to change her gloves because she did not change them when I first came in and I watched her touching everything in room like pen bad and computer keyboard etc.. and then trying to do X-ray for me without even changing them.I came back today for filling. Waited one whole hour before going in. Then another half hour. The dentist finally came and gave me a numbing shot and said I’ll be back in 15 min, I waited one whole hour until I started feeling my tooth again, and he never showed up, even though I talked to his assistant but still he didn’t come and neither did his assistant. So, I left immediately. I won’t ever go back there. They are nice staff and dentists but they are not professional at all.

The staff at this Dental office is amazing! I came in with a bad attitude due to something that wasn’t their fault and the front desk assistant Alicia didn’t become bothered with me and she understood my frustrations and showed sympathy to me. Amy and Dr A. Basically performed a miracle on my tooth that was completely broken to gum. Completely restored it! With Extreme patience. I respect that. Great service.

Spending our Heather not-so-nice Dental technician cut the top of my mouth with the X-ray equipment that didnt fit in my mouth didnt have my tooth pulled because I smoke weed for my anxiety so after refusal of treatment after sitting there for an hour and a half thats not even the bad part the lack of clean tools is the bad part and I will be posting this picture tools were not in a bag couldnt find Bens all in the room when one other nurse heard me questioning she came in very rudely and was offended because I was questioning why my tools were so disgusting and not in a bag

My experience here was absolutely horrible. Took my son who is 3 and has severe cavities in and the dentist refused to help him at all. Waited a good hour for the appointment then about another 45 minutes on the dentist just to be told I have to take him to Chicago. I asked about oral sedation and laughing gas as its on their website and the dentist said its not offered. Why have it listed as services you can do if you cant? The girls in the office were all great and helped make my son feel at ease but the particular dentist I had was absolutely unwilling to help and didnt care that my 3 year old can barely eat because of pain. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

So happy with work done here at Optim by Dr Tad! I had to have extractions and even a little bit of surgery to get teeth removed. The staff were all excellent and very professional in every appointment I had. They were very patient with me and my little bouts of anxiety. I felt they were very concerned about me.And I just can’t say enough about my doctor, he was very professional and very knowledgeable on the best procedure to fix my smile again. I would certainly recommend him and this office to all. Tks again Dr Tad!!

Called and changed my appt. from 3 p.m. to 230 p.m. Checked in and was asked to wait in my car. They would call me when they was ready. Because of covid I had no problem with that. The problem comes in when I sat in my car until 340 p.m. was 4 p.m. before I got out of there. Dont believe I would go back.

Ive had good and bad experiences there but Amy is great! Im always glad when I get to have her. Shes really good at what shes does!

Ive been going to Optim since 2017 and I love this place better than dentists in my area.....its a hour and half drive but its worth it!!!!!

Dr A. Was and Is amazing. He made sure I was comfortable at all times with extractions. I had 21/22 teeth extracted today. My pain level is manageable at the time. He gave great instructions. I’m really glad I took his advice and had my teeth extracted and got my dentures. Even though it seems extreme to me at first. It’s working. He made sure he took care of me while I still had insurance.His staff, most of them need training. They would wait for me to call, then the night before my appt and want to move it to another week away. I didn’t appreciate that.Personally I think there should be some one in the office that does only the schedule, checks insurance for 3 days in advance, checks with the labs to see if dentures are ready, reason I say this is because I would call to make sure everything was good to go, then that would do ALOT and cut back on calling and fixing the schedule. Etc.

Canceled me because they have the wrong insurance information. Rude and unhelpful.WAS: Great staff and dentist, always friendly and helpful.

I visited Optim dental for tooth filling and tooth extraction. The doctor and staff did a wonderful job in doing that and I didn’t even get the pain during that process. I will definitely recommend optim dental.

My grandson (age 4) had excellent care. Dr A had an incredible amount of patience. Even though he was running behind he explained everything he was doing and going to do. I was extremely impressed with his chair side care and also his dental expertise. Im sorry to say the front desk was quite the opposite, my understanding they have been replaced. One of my tooth got broken and I was really scared about getting a treatment. I visited Optim dental for having a dental check up and Dr. Avadhani explained all possible options and suggested me to have a deep filling for broken tooth and scheduled an appointment. He numbed by tooth and I didn’t feel any pain while doing deep filling for that tooth. I trust them for my dental care.

I like the people and the dentists here. The facility is clean and inviting. Ive had a visit that went WAY longer than necessary due to the dr being behind and today my whole family had cleanings, which was the first visit for the rest of my family. Over all we felt the cleanings were rushed and not overly through.

For my first visit I was pleasantly surprised. I felt a sense of hope for my teeth once again. Will give a more detailed one after my next visit.

Amy went above & beyond to get me in considering I was late for my appointment! They were all so nice & very helpful with my 4 year old! They did amazing with him & myself! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! I promise my entire family will NEVER go anywhere else but here! Very clean, Friendly & the care is astounding!

This dentist office is the only one I would ever go to. They make sure your very comfortable. My daughter has had 2 teeth removed within the last 2 weeks and they did an awesome job keeping her comfortable. The dental assistant Amy B. The Dentist cant remember his name but he was very detailed oriented and professional. I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the service that I needed. Driving to Optimum was a trip worth taking. After having teeth extracted few months ago I developed a tiny sore in my gum in the last days. After contacting Optim and explaining I was seen quickly same day! My new favorite dentist now, Dr Tad, saw me, diagnosed my problem and solved it all in one shirt, painless visit. Tks Dr Tad!!

First time at the new location. The dental assistants that did my xrays and stuff were amazing, very nice, funny and made the experience enjoyable. I wish I got their names but forgot. Dentist was nice too, I told him about me having an upcoming surgery and he made sure to get me in quick so I can get what needs done, done before my surgery.

The staff are so helpful and kind! Going in I was very nervous thinking they couldnt or wouldnt help me, but after the appointment I was so relieved and hopeful. I had an appointment for 2:00pm, prior to my appointment I called ahead to make sure I would be done by 3:10 due to childcare they said yes. Waited 45 mins, receptionist kept saying We would be called next, we weren’t. I also told them when I checked in that I need to be out by 3:10 if it was an issue for me to reschedule , they said no you are fine. Needless to say, I waited all that time to have to CANCEL my appointment. No apologies on their end either because the had messed up the Patient checking in order. People with later appointment times were being seen before me with an 2:00pm appointment.

I have been coming to Optim for almost two years every time I come I always have a great experience. They take care of all my dental needs. The staff is friendly and professional. I live in St Louis and the 1 1/2 hr. Drive is worth it to come get my teeth done. I would recommend anyone to come here.

The dentist my son sees is VERY kind and compassionate. He is observant of my sons anxiety and is always reassuring him all is going well and is very gentle with him. Brandon refers everyone he knows to your office. Great job to all!

The dentist was very nice and professional he found my problem right away, and if it wasnt for his professionalism I would not have gotten it fixed, great customer service!!!

Dr was great. He talks to you and gives you detailed information so you understand what is going on. Got me in same day I needed seen and had me a follow up appt to get bottom wisdom teeth out in a week. First tooth took 2 minutes to pull and the second tooth took about 4 minutes. Ive been following the directions on the paper he gave me and my face has not swell up like it has every time in the past. Staff has been very helpful and very nice. Very recommended dentist.

I drove 3 hours to make it to my appointment. They was able to do my consultation and extraction done in the same day. They done an awesome job with working with me and the staff was very nice.

I have been going to this dentist for quite sometime now. I have always been satisfied with them. Very friendly people who work there and very professional. Most people dread going to the dentist but i dont mind at all with them. Nice and clean environment.

Was dreading going because I needed a bunch if teeth pulled but it turned out great.. Dentist numbed all the right places and no pain even days after. I would recommend to anyone.

Made an appt for a cleaning. They scheduled me 3weeks out. When I got there I waited over and hour just to have xrays taken and told they dont have a hygienist there that day for cleanings and I will need to schedule another appt.Complete waste of time.

I’ve always been pleased taking my granddaughter to Optim dental for her dental work. The new location is convenient. The Drs and staff are professional, personable and customer oriented.

I understand you may need services, but understand these people were reckless from the start, and when attempted to be held responsible they laughed at me and told me to send a lawyer after them.I can not emphasize enough how upsetting this is.Dont let my story be your story.

My kids and I have been going to optim dental for the past few years and we absolutely love Dr. A! He is the best! Weve had Dr. T and the supervisor doctor (we did not have a good experience with the supervisor dentist and thats the only reason this review isnt 5 stars) and no one else comes close the the gentle and precise work of Dr. A! Especially if its something that takes more time. Amy and the red headed dental assistants are top of the line and the receptionist is always there to greet with a smile! Alyssa & Shea both made making my daughters appointment very easy. When we got there the staff was very friendly. No one sugar coated anything. They walked us through everything that needed to be done. We had to come back but they made us feel comfortable. They knew us when we came back. We originally went to this place because we were looking for a good dentist for my four year old granddaughter that accepted Medicaid. They treated her so great there, and made it such a wonderful, fun, not scary experience. Gail is super nice and great with kids! Then, the second time we visited we had an insurance issue. Shea at the front desk was ON it! This girl can do 37 things at once, and yet still make eye contact and make you feel like you matter. Now that we have private insurance and can go anywhere we want, we are choosing to stay with Optim because of the wonderful treatment. Keep up the great work Optim staff!!!

Ive been going here for little over three years. Ive never had any problems with getting in for a appointment. Today I was to have a cleaning which was canceled do to Uncontrollable circumstances right now! But I needed to be seen for another reason that was an emergency. I got right in I was informed of what needed to be done now an what was to be done at later date. I was greated with kindness an left with the same. If I didnt understand or know what something was or what it meant. It was explained to me before having it done. I love the people working there. Thank you very much..
