I recently underwent a da Vinci (robotic) radical prostatectomy performed by Dr. Kilambi. I cannot adequately express how pleased I was with Dr. Kilambi and his staff. Within minutes of my consultation with Dr. Kilambi, (he was a second opinion consultation), I knew he was the surgeon I would be choosing. My wife and I felt immediately at ease with him and were impressed by his ability to explain such an involved procedure in a way we understood and with compassion and reassurance. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery and recovery. His medical assistant, Rachel, has been readily available to answer any questions I have had. I absolutely will be referring Dr. Kilambi to anyone I know needing an EXCELLENT urologist. I am beyond thankful to have been referred to him and appreciate his EXCELLENT care!

It has been over 5 weeks since I had the Urolift procedure and all of my prostate issues have been corrected. Dr. B. Collins diagnosed my prostate issues and recommended 2 options, Rezum and Urolift, which were both minimally invasive and could be conducted in the office. The recommendations were given after using the medication Tamsulosin to try and relieve the issues without any success. I selected the Rezum procedure and was notified that my insurance would not cover any of the cost. Dr. Collins took the time, out of his busy schedule, to call me personally and revisit the Urolift procedure again and put me at ease. Dr. Collins is a very good doctor and would recommend him to anyone wanting/needing relief from prostate issues. Front staff are great to work with as well!

I visited Dr. Kilambi initially to get a second opinion regarding my high PSA level and enlarged prostrate. My current urologist, after considering other avenues of treatment, had advised … a prostrate biopsy. I was trying to avoid a biopsy due to a very bad experience with this procedure, performed by a previous urologist. My anxiety level was certainly elevated about the procedure, but I felt sure it was imminent. After Dr. Kilambi examined me and reviewed my medical records, he advised a prostrate biopsy as well. I told Dr. Kilambi about my previous experience, and he took the time to listen and assured me and explained how that would certainly not happen this time. He took a lot of time with me and explained about the medications and how the procedure would go. His concern and his compassion relieved me of much of my anxiety. At that point, I felt confident I was in good hands. I scheduled the biopsy with his office and the procedure went well, with very minimal discomfort. He talked to me throughout the procedure, encouraging me, all the time asking me how I felt and letting me know how far along in the procedure he was. I have now transferred all of my medical records to him and I am using him exclusively as my urologist. I have the utmost respect and confidence in him, for my care.Another note… I have been very pleased with the office staff in regard to how I am greeted upon calling or entering the clinic. Their friendliness in assisting me, their efficiency in returning calls, and basically just trying to be sure I am taken care of, is certainly refreshing from my experience with most medical clinics. I recommend Dr. Kilambi and Northwest Arkansas Urology without reservation!

I have been seeing Dr. Kilambi for 3 years and he has always done a very good job handling my prostate cancer progression. I ended up having robotic surgery in which Dr. Kilambi performed the procedure flawlessly. My recovery time has been very short and has exceeded my expectations. This doctor takes the time to be very through and is very proficient at his job.

I recently had a robotic surgery performed by Dr. Kilambi. The entire process, (since February) from diagnosis to biopsy and imaging scans were handled with compassion and skill by Dr. Kilambi. He is a wonderful urologist who worked with me and answered all my questions and even eased my enormous fear with his confidence. The staff at Northwest Arkansas Urology Associates have been warm and friendly with me and my family. I recommend him highly.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.Im a former employee of theirs, and I wouldnt recommend this facility to either job seekers or patients. The interview: Typical: asking the same questions any interviewer would ask. A skilled interviewer knows how to manipulate well known questions into a creative aspect, challenging the interviewee to come up with creative, but honest answers.Training Process: Agonizingly unorganized. I was thrown into multiple processes of positions. At first, my questions were answered by a multitude of people, none of which were the same answers. Manager was inconsistent, and rude when coming to her with questions. After Training: Often times, our departments (billing, front, new patient coordinator and MA) intertwined and we ended up doing each others job and screwing everything up at the direction of the manager. Urine samples were constantly messed up, patient information was messed up, and the dos and do nots were rarely the same creating a very confusing and highly intensive work environment. You constantly have to get up and ask a nurse, an MA and the manager for direction as there was no set curriculum, and phoning them or messaging them would take longer.Work Environment: As a receptionist, I was looked down upon by the nurses, 1 MA, 1 dr, the manager, and patients. Over a period of time, it became an increasingly toxic work place. The nurses (though do very well with their patients and put them first, which I applaud as they do an intensive amount of work) would snap, and it made working there very difficult. manager, she was continuously gas-lighting my questions, concerns and ideas for improvement of the company. Anything asked to her, by me, was insignificant and bothersome to her, or at least thats what it felt like to me. She micromanaged us and gave us misdirection, which effected me, as an employee, to work effectively and efficiently. 1 dr. based off of what Ive witnessed while working there, he portrayed more interest in money than his patients or employees (in my opinion).. Though there were days where he was enjoyable, he was also verbally aggressive when there were mistakes (speaking loudly, directness was unforgiving) towards his employees and didnt gave us much direction to improve ourselves.Patients: There were many, many patients who were very rude. And, many patients were very nice. It was a hit or miss on the patients demands, but most were rude, and demeaning.PROS: None (IMO), unless getting free food (almost) every Friday is a huge win for you.CONS: Toxic work environment, unorganized, verbal aggression, favoritism, micro-management, benefits arent great, training process could use (at least) a basic structure, talking behind your back, lies to save face, care more about money than patient care, taken advantage of, doing other peoples jobs when your ill trained, nobody knows whats going on, and emotional downfall.I think if that one doctor showed a little more compassion and interest in his employees (and some patients), it would be much more enjoyable. I think if the manager had more structure to the training process, and concrete knowledge of the specifications to each doctor at the access of the receptionists, doing the job would be much more efficient. If the fellow employees would cut back on the negative talk and stress related insults, the environment wouldnt feel so toxic and tense.

Dr. Wilsons front desk staff was VERY rude. The nurse gave me the first injection of antibiotics. I felt nothing with 2 local pain injection. The pain of first 6 biopsy extractions was horrific. Dr. Wilson refused to give me more local pain injections. The next 6 injections was equally as painful. He refused pain medications after biopsy, and did not give me my second antibiotic injection . Im bleeding profusely. DO NOT ALLOW Dr. Wilson to perform your biopsy! Use another Urologist !! The front desk staff didnt give me the right paperwork to fill out.Next, I waited AN HOUR AND A HALF in the exam room before the doctor came in. A nurse came to check on me once in the time period and assure me the doctor was coming soon, which was forty-five minutes before he actually came in.After the doctor came in, he spent three minutes talking at me and didnt listen well to the different symptoms I had made sure to list. He left and had the nurse give me some samples of meds to try. I will not be going back to this clinic.

The office manager Tony, is extremely disrespectful! She started calling me names and wanted me to fix an issue that their billing department made. She kept stating that their previous employees got fired because they wouldnt do their job right. So she admitted that it was an error their previous staff made and still refused to help me solve my issue. A disrespectful woman like her doesnt deserve a position as a manager if she doesnt know how to talk to her patients kindly and understand our frustration when it comes down to an error THEY made.

My girlfriend ended up in the Emergency Room because of Dr. Brekelbaum, but at her next appointment he refused even to see her because she wouldnt pay more than her insurance contracted to pay.For those of you in this situation - - be aware its illegal for a doctor to balance bill you (charge you for what your insurance doesnt cover) if you have a $0 co-pay.Shockingly, Dr. Brekelbaum lied to her. He told her he was required to balance bill.Is that the kind of ethics you want in your doctor?

Horrible staff and doctors. My 17 year old son needed to see a new Urologist and the Hospital sent a referral him to be seen there because of several issues that his previous Urologist was unwilling to handle. They refused to accept him because they felt like they couldnt do anything for him. The child is having massive urinary issues and the Dr he was seeing was not helping us and you refused? If something happens to my child you better believe I will be blaming you guys since you were unwilling to even see him when there was an issue.

I went to this urology clinic, referred by my GP, when I was set for a prostate biopsy, they put me in a little room with baseboards missing, the biohazard can was covered with a portable fan, trash was overflowing and the machine for taking the biopsy was set under a hole in the ceiling with loose fiberglass hanging out.Dr Kiambi first said we would have to cancel the procedure. I asked it it was out of the ordinary and he said it had been from a pipe breaking and didnt know when it would be fixed. As I was worried about having cancer, I agreed to do the procedure if they cleaned the machine, they did and no complications. After getting the results Dr Kiambi refused to accept that the facility was anything but fine and I was being attacking and then defensive when I explained my comment. This guy has no communication skills. I suppose he graduated med school but probably failed bed side manners. This clinic overcharged me beyond what insurance said I should pay. four months later I still have no refund. Their accounting says it is my fault and have to chase down money they credited to a wrong account. These frauds of a clinic are also thieves! Beware!

Im very surprised at all the negative reviews.. The front desk girls are very sweet, knowledgeable, and very cute I might add. I saw Dr. Chad Brekelbaum for a vasectomy. The man is awesome, very professional and just a great guy. I did have to wait an hour the morning of my appointment but its well worth the wait! Here it is 4 days later and im not sore hardly at all anymore. While he was doing his work he held a conversation to keep your mind off what was going on which was great because i was WAY nervous. He works in the room by himself so no women hovering around making u feel uncomfortable. Before i knew it he was done! I took the one pain pill the morning of my surgery as recommended and havent had to take another one, at all. If u are having to have a vasectomy Id highly recommend him!!!
