I went in for a sinus infection and upper respiratory infection and they ran a Covid test. Turns out the Covid test is not covered in their contract with the insurance companies and so they charged $75 for the Covid test - without informing me in advance it was self-pay. I didn’t have Covid. They were just looking to make $. I have good insurance that would have provided free Covid testing elsewhere. To me this is shady business practices. I will not be going back. -- I was unable to send an email to the one listed below. It bounced back. I found another contact us option and submitted the information in that manner instead.

Everyone at the clinic was super nice.Loved the provider on call. My 5-year-old did too.I left my yeti cup there though... I tried to call So I could make sure no one tossed it and all I could get was a computer and not even one that could direct me to the actual clinic. So I guess Im just rating the company overall... This isnt the first time its happened to me. Every time I call a mercy clinic this happens. They should probably fix their phone system...

Nurse, or whoever drew my blood, literally took a call on her Apple Watch while doing the blood draw. Did not have items needed for blood draw in her tray and kept scrambling around for different items. When I called back a few days later, nobody answers the phone and the VM is full...which seems to be a common theme after looking at other reviews to see if my experience was just a one-off. Dr. was fine, but everything else about this place is a mess. Too much job security here.

One star because I can’t leave a lower review! I went in they gave me a Covid and strep test. Then told me I had whatever is going around and that was it. Didn’t look in my throat ears or anything else. Didn’t say what I should do. Didn’t address the reason that I went in! I wound up in the ER and was admitted in the hospital. Thanks for no help at all!!! Wouldn’t send my worst enemy there!!!

Someone in my class tested positive for COVID. Apparently a virtual visit is required for a covid test, even if I have direct protocol from my college to get a test before returning to campus. I arrived to the virtual waiting room early and waited for an hour and no one showed up. I waited as long as I could because I can’t sit and wait for them all day, I had to leave the β€œvisit” to attend class. I now will be putting others at risk because I was not provided any kind of help. If I had not wasted all this time on mercy urgent care I possibly would’ve been able to receive a test or at least any kind of information. Also I called the physical location 3 times which never picks up and says their voicemail is β€œunavailable” how professional…

I’ll probably not go anywhere else but here in the future. Where to start?!? I called the clinic for general information because I wasn’t feeling well. Amber said, β€œC’mon in!” So I did. Her and Donna were so friendly and super funny that I almost forgot I was sick. The facility is immaculate, the rooms are high-tech, and you can tell you’ll get the best care. After being diagnosed, having belly-rolling laughter with Donna, I was escorted to the front. It doesn’t stop there. Donna went and made me a hot cup of coffee !!! Who does that?! No one in the medical field has ever shown this type of customer service. No one. They cattle-call your name from 20ft away, provide zero warmth, get-ya fixed up, then say β€œadios!”. If another clinic is reading this, don’t kid yourself.....you don’t provide this level of service. This is a genuine, top notch, feel-better clinic. πŸ₯°πŸ˜Thank you ladies for helping me and being real.-Sir

While the care here was good, I give this clinic only 1 star because of their billing team. My husband had a visit over a year ago, in March 2020. They filed a claim only in November, or so they say. Insurance doesnt have any claims from them. Mercy Go health then started sending us a full bill. We called them in January, they promised to file a claim with insurance, and nothing was claimed. Story repeated itself again in February, March and April. We still get a full bill every month. Here we are in June, 2021, I have called and asked for proof of the claim. They hung up on me. This billing team is absolutely inapt! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Updating with my response. Took my 2 year old to the springdale location today. She has been throwing up for a week. Hasnt been eating or drinking. She didnt look at my child at all. Not even to see if she was dehydrated. She was in the room maybe 1 minute & said they cant help her. All they could do is give zofran. I told them shes been on zofran all week and its not helping. Said thats all they could recommend. Wasted time and would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Would put lower if I could. Took my kids here today with several symptoms. Paid for their visits out of pocket to see a doctor. They were given covid tests. Once finished a lady came in, said they were all negative and asked if I had any questions. I told her yes, I want to know what’s wrong with them because I didn’t suspect covid from the beginning. She said she could look at them but they probably just had summer colds. She made it sound like I was a problem for wanting to know why my kids are sick. Every time she looked in an ear or anything she would sigh and say it’s probably just a cold. You should just go get cold medicine. My son is super raspy sounding in his chest and still said he sounds clear. How do you listen and see kids look that miserable and not try to figure out why they are there? I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Didn’t have a problem with anyone else in the building but her.

Major hoops to get a COVID test...You must first make a telehealth appointment for a typically walk-in clinic.I signed in for a telehealth appointment and waited for over 30 minutes. During that time I missed a call from an unknown out of state number - of course I didnt answer because the doctor could show up any time right? After waiting more I decide to return that missed call(while still waiting on the telehealth system only to find it was someone from mercy calling to gather more information. Once I gave them the information they told me Id now be put back on the list with an indefinite wait time.Terrible system, customer service, terrible way to take care of a community.

I have never experienced such condescending attitude as I did from the nurse practitioner at the Elm Sorings Mercy Go!! From the moment I started talking about my issue, and her reply always β€œwhy do you think you have a problem!” Even though I explained my symptoms several times. I was experience allergies in my eye and starting to develop symptoms going into pink eye. I’ve had this several times before and I KNOW WHAT MY EYES DO!! I explained I need antibiotic eye drops before I get full blown crusty eyes. Well, I go to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription only to find out she ordered some obscure thing they don’t carry and the pharmacist recommended I call the doctor to send a different one. So I did, and her reply was β€œjust get something over the counter, I wasn’t prescribing you anything better than that anyway”. Really!! Now guess what, I woke up with full blown crusty eye infection!! Heaven forbid someone goes in their with something more life threatening and she just dismiss them like they are trivial and wasting her time! That was exactly how her attitude was. If I thought simple over the counter drops were going to work, I wouldn’t have paid $50 copay to see a doctor. Well,I guess I didn’t really see a doctor, just a nurse practitioner. I will never go to this place again and will tell anyone I know to avoid them!!

Would give β€œ0” stars if I could.Went in to get COVID test since I had been in contact with positive case. Was asked if I had set appointment online, which I had not. I stated that I didn’t realize I needed an appointment and asked aren’t you a walk-in clinic. Again I was almost scolded that I didn’t set my appointment online and was told it would be almost 2 hours before they could work me in. Really wasn’t a problem to wait my turn but it was 1:30 pm and only had one other car in parking lot. Lady at the Front desk ( I wish I would have gotten her name so I can give her Full credit) was incredibly rude. I should have figured as much since she was rude to the person ( only other car in parking lot) in front of me as well. But she really taught both of us a lesson.I went down the road to MedExpress and was greeted by a cheerful young lady and they worked me right in. What a contrast in basic courtesy and certainly in customer/patient service.I know where I won’t go and where I WILL go next time as well as where I will send everyone I know in the future.

Gonna be honest I was a hard to deal with as I was having card issues. They did not visibly get angry and where helpful the entire time. Definitely recommend coming here. I was impressed with the facility and technology, but I was not impressed with the patient care. When I first arrived, I was not greeted. There was one person at the desk and I stood there for a few minutes without being acknowledged. So, I sat down hoping she would address me eventually. She finally asked me if I checked in, which I answered no, because I did not see anywhere to check in. I later found out you are to check in on the iPad across the room; I was not aware of this as I had never been there before, and there was not a sign stating I needed to sign in there.Once in the room, I explained that I had flu-like symptoms. Since I did not have a fever documented, they refused to swab me for the flu. They instead decided to swab me for strep instead, which of course, came back negative. I had informed her that I was trying to conceive, yet she offered steroids to make me feel better. I had to tell her again I was trying to conceive and then she realized she couldnt prescribe them to me, which I already knew. I also work in the medical field, and I felt I had to help guide her during my visit because she seemed confused and delayed in her response the entire visit. She stated since there was nothing she could do for me, to come back if I gained a fever. So, she expected me to pay my $50 co pay twice, and again refused a flu swab for the second time. She was certain it would come back negative and implied it would be a waste for todays visit.I also had another chief complaint of recent hand/finger swelling, which she didnt address and told me she didnt feel comfortable with that and would rather me go to my PCP.I will not be returning here. I only came because it was close to my work and they wanted me to be tested. I will continue with my PCP or MANA facilities and be sure to tell my fellow medical friends to avoid coming here.

They had some issues with the computer systems, and it was a bit of a slow start, but still reasonable for urgent care. And they were intent on keeping everyone comfortable, and kept thanking everyone for their patience. The Dr. was quick and efficient, and even gave me a script for a medicine for a common side effect for the antibiotics that was prescribed. He also took the time to give me info on a primary Dr. As well as a specialist. My husband and I will be using them again if the need ever arises!

I rarely, if ever, leave negative reviews, but we just had the most traumatic experience at this mercy location. We went in for a flu shot for my daughter. Normally I take her to the pediatric flu clinic, but she got sick during her scheduled appointment. I called mercy and they said they give flu shots for kids 3 and older(my daughter is almost 4) and told me to come in at 10 and there would be no wait. When we got there, it was completely empty, I filled out the paperwork and we waited in the exam room for about 25 minutes, which in my opinion is way too long when there are no other patients. When the nurse practitioner did finally come in, she seemed very flustered and unorganized. It was strange to me that it took the np that long because she was out in the office area the whole time. My daughter was completely calm and even told her that she didn’t mind shots and she would not cry. When she got the shot ready, she looked at my daughters arm and seemed like she had never given a shot before. She held the needle like she was trying to hit a target. She then jabbed it in and took it right back out. She yelled (very rudely), β€œguys, you have to keep her arm still,” like this was our fault (my mom and I). Her arm was still, but now she was wailing. If she had simply pushed the syringe, we would have been done at this point. She calls for the office worker (who was actually super nice) to help hold her and again she looks completely unqualified to give a shot- she pulls the needle back and forth, jabs it in again and THEN PULLS IT OUT WITHOUT ADMINISTERING THE VACCINEβ€”β€”β€”AGAIN!!!!!!! Once again she yells that we are not holding her arm. She wasn’t just poking the skin lightly-At this point my daughter has two deep needle pokes and is bleeding from both of them. I said we just needed to leave at that point, and the nurse practitioner said, β€œif you guys can hold her arm, I can give it to her.” My mom, who is a retired nurse told her if she can jab it in, she should be able to administer the medicine With no problem. I said I thought we should just go and the np said that she would get it in the next time (if her arm was still). I wish I would have left after the first jab because at that point I can’t stand seeing my child be so scared, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to take her somewhere else without her being scared to death. I have never seen my daughter so upset. I asked for a minute to hold her and calm her down. Then we held her (3 grown adults) and the np stands there with the needle seeming to will herself to give the shot. She jabbed it in again and before she could pull it out, my mom yelled for her to push the syringe. I 100% think she would have pulled it out again and I was legitimately scared that she was going to poke me with the syringe because she was so unsteady. When she finished (I’m just assuming the vaccine went in because she disposed of the needle immediately), She put the band aid on and pretty much said, β€œyou guys are good to go.” The office worker apologized to my daughter as we walked out the door and she got a sticker. The nurse practitioner did not apologize and I don’t know if she felt embarrassed or maybe she really didn’t think she was at faultπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I do know that if you have a child or an adult that needs a flu shot, I would not go there. I’m still not convinced she actually gave her the vaccine. I have been to flu clinics at an elementary school every year and they run hundreds of kids through there with a flu shot in a few hours. I’ve never seen anything like this. I would never complain if it was something small or maybe she was having an off day, but it seemed like she had never given a shot or was scared to death to give a child a shot. If the shot was for myself, I would not be upset- maybe a little irritated, but it was for my young daughter who now will be terrified of shots.

Service was fast but did not take the moment to really listen. I came in with either a herniated disc or pinched nerve? Im basically in so much pain Im having difficulty breathing. Anyone whos ever suffered from these symptoms knows good and well exactly what Im talking about. They end up giving me a steroid shot and anti-inflammatories. Which is correct. I ask for something to manage the pain as Im literally a day away from an eight hour flight coupled with a six hour drive to go on a vacation with my bride. They basically refused my request and proceeded to tell me that it would only mask the symptoms...uhm isnt that exactly pain medication is suppose to do?I have no history of drug abuse, I literally walked in with a note from my chiropractor saying Im in dire need of some form of pain medicine, and my wife is aslo a pharmacist who knows good and well I (against her recommendation) wont even take tylenol when Im hurting or have a migraine. While I understand the epidemic of opioids that has swept our nation for decades. I do not understand the cold interaction with patients who are legitimately suffering from an accute condition, who cant even be prescribed momentary relief? If I understand this right. Our physicians, and nurses are so scared to write these scripts that even people suffering no longer have this option. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful. Im sure this is the general consensus among many clinics these days. Its unfortunate that people cant get the help they need anymore because so many have abused their rights to medication. I shouldnt be nervous to ask for temporary pain relief, I shouldnt automatically feel like Im some two bit junkie running from clinic to clinic in search of opioids. What I should get is the correct treatment from a facility that is suppose to have their clients best interest at the fore front of their industry. Absolutely ridiculous and absurd. No I do not reccomend thus place. If you can, wait and just see you PCP.
