Cannot ever get anyone on the phone to make sick appt. I left a message explaining My 10 month old had a fever of 102 and was throwing up. After 8 hours and no return call I called back only to be asked questions for 10 mins, told that it was probably just from teething and there was nothing they can do for that. I insisted on having her seen by a doctor but I was told they were booked for the next 2 days. They suggested urgent care so I had to take her there at 8 pm and she was diagnosed with an ear infection. Had it not taken 8 hours to get someone on the phone, I could have taken her to urgent care a lot sooner. I will definitely not be returning. This makes 2 times I cant get a sick appt bc the receptionist tells me there is nothing they can do. Since when does a receptionist get to determine if a sick child should be seen? Had I not taken her to urgent care she would have just suffered form the ear infection that the receptionist said was just her teething

Dr. Adarsh Reddy Kancharla doesnt seem to actually care about the patient. He originally sent a doctor in who lied to me about the medication my child was on. When questioned on discrepancies the doctor replied that she was a learning doctor, which is understandable. So I asked to see Dr. Kancharla because thats who is actually my childs doctor. He came in, clearly irritated that he had to be present to answer questions regarding my sons care and didnt address any of my concerns. He seemed to be more concerned with making it clear to me he had a degree. Why be in healthcare, especially pediatrics, if you dont care about the kids? Alarming to say the least. I would not recommend this doctor to an animal.

This doctors office is an actual joke! 8/23 my daughter woke up coughing it sounded like she was barking! I called this office to schedule a sick visit with no answer. I started calling at 8 am and stopped at 12! I left messages that where never returned. At 12 I decided it was time to take my child to the er. We were there from 1 pm until 8 pm. The er was busy but took very good care of us! I called this office this morning yet again with no answer. I was on hold for 30 minutes (15 of those where spent listening to the system tell me there were 0 callers ahead of me) it was then sent to the voicemail after 30 minutes. I refused to leave another message and not get a return call so I hung up and immediately called back and someone actually answered. I told her I tried calling yesterday and the response I got was “it’s just been crazy.” I have my daughter scheduled for a well child visit after she turns 1 but if I can find a different office that will take us I will cancel and never return to this office. Again this office is a joke. Run far far away from this place.

This office makes me uneasy. My sons PCP is Dr. Allred - he saw him twice when he was a newborn. I have never seen him again. My son has seen at least 4 or 5 different doctors or NPs and some of them are just doing their residency. They dont look at his chart, quiz me when I come in, it makes me want to say, did you even read the chart?. I feel like I get dismissed when I have genuine concerns about my child. Im going elsewhere. I really wanted to like this office but Im sorry, my childs health comes first.

I did not like how Dr. MARKEETA talked to me like Im slow. I know when my child is hungry.I know everytime he is crying he is not hungry. I keep calling and going to appointments with no solution with my son throwing up his food. It took over a hour in a half to get out of there. I felt really uneasy after I left.

Every nurse interaction at this hospital is a frustrating gamble. Tried to see if I could get my daughter seen for an ear infection in a timely manner, they were not able to do so (though I do understand why they were unable). The first nurse I spoke to sounded like she wanted to help, and transferred me to another lady who she thought might be able to assist me. The second woman was very dismissive and curt.It definitely did not help that I was on hold for twelve minutes of a fifteen minute phone call, especially with the hold music informing me often that I was waiting and had zero callers ahead of me. It makes it seem like the staff dont care, though their behavior also doesnt do anything to despell that notion.I have been visiting Regional for most of my life, and it has always been an inconsistent care provider with very little quality control when it comes to the bedside manner or their staff. I would recommend going to a private practice or Greenville Memorial over this hospital unless it truly is an emergency.

Very disappointed in this pediatrician office. I had my newborn like last year and being new to the Spartanburg area we didnt have a Pediatrician in mind. So they told us to go ahead with this location. For our first visit it wasnt that great. I personally didnt like that the doctor wasnt there but mostly the Inters training. So after our first newborn check up I told them I dont want to schedule anymore appointments with them and sign a release medical form to send it to the new pediatrician office closer to my home. It has been 9 months and they still havent sent it. Called today and they told me I have never sign a form. Like really!!! Either yall lost it or just threw it out. Smh. Not very professional.

Ive tried calling numerous times to schedule a sick visit for my child with no success. It says theyre open 8-5 but because it just give me a silenced background after prompting me to choose why Im calling. Tried calling the main hospital number and the operator doesnt know either. Definitely going to look for another pediatric place.

I would tell people to run far away from this office and the so called doctors there. My son is almost 18 months old and I still get mad thinking about the horrible treatment I was given by the staff here. We had a regular doctor but the hospital would not call her and left me with an idiot for a pediatrician who wanted to push formula on my son. He was only Breastfeeding but milk was not in yet as yea it can take days (not first time mom) he lost some weight but that is NORMAL! Even the lactation consultant was fine with how he was doing but no this idiot doctor who thinks he knows everything kept pushing it and saying we had to come back for a weight check after birth. Oh and when I came for that appointment they left me waiting for over an hour in the room and only came in when I packed up my bags to leave. Oh and then wants to send me a letter saying they will not longer accept me as a patient lol i refuse you! Disgusting office falling apart and not clean at all. Wish I had stood up for myself and my son sooner and called my pediatrician myself! And wish I could have given that doctor my option to his ugly face! My son is happy and healthy and we will never recommend this office or hospital to anyone. Most of the nurses are good though.

My son was recommended personally by a pediatrician that came to the ER with us to bring him back over here TODAY for more evaluation. Well the receptionist wants to say theres nobody there that can check his ear infection today. I wouldve thought an actual doctor recommending to come back would have us be there today. Guess not. This is getting annoying. You guys dont answer your phones for a long period of time, give us the run around, tell us one thing but mean another, how tf is this hospital number one?

I’m not sure why this place is getting such terrible reviews.. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the doctors, nurses and staff.. sure sometimes the wait can be long but that’s expected when it’s a doctors office and there are many patients.. they can almost always get me in the same day that I call for a sick appointment and if not then first thing the next morning. They recently remodeled the waiting room and it’s very kid friendly, things to keep them occupied. I would also like to specifically acknowledge Dr. Rosana Laborde.. she is the sweetest, nicest, most welcoming doctor. She makes my kids feel so comfortable, she’s very informative and thorough. Thank you for helping my kiddos feel better!

When my daughter was a baby, I ended up with this group after falling in love with one of the residents in the hospital. The two residents we saw in office were fine, but probably not peds material. The NP I saw, however, was horrific. I hate to say her name and get it wrong. I think I know exactly who it was and she still works there, but I’d feel bad if I was wrong. She came bursting through the door and never introduced herself. She chastised me for not reading to my baby and said her head was flat, and I needed to turn her more. She did not let me give explanations for either of those things, which could be explained. I left in tears and immediately called for an appt at North Grove. This office serves a lot of low income families, and I feel like as a patient you are treated less than. I’m educated and not low income, but I would hate to be in the position where I had no other choice. Parents and especially young first time parents are already feeling vulnerable and confused. They should not be made to feel stupid or unworthy of care—No matter what their bank statement says. This was THREE years ago. I never said anything, but the NP visit still bothers me every now and then today. By the way, my kid is perfectly healthy and smarter than most.

If I could give 0 starts I most definitely would! My daughter has been going there since birth. She just turned 2 months old and I had an amazing first visit when she was 3 days old for a well child check up. Since then she’s been a couple of times and each time the doctors brush off your concerns I had one doctor laugh in my face at my concerns of my daughters umbilical hernia. Literally laugh in my face and told me it was nothing they see it all the time. Well I never have and this being my first baby it was alarming so motherly instents I went to the doctor! I went on another visit to talk to the doctor about my daughters formula and constipation problems and I got told “she’s just a fussy baby” my daughter has never been a “fussy baby” she was in pain and uncomfortable they witnessed her crying in the office and again I was told “shes just a crying baby” everything I was concerned about or mentioned during her well visits I was criticized on my parenting. I was classified as a young mother and nothing is taken seriously. I am in the process of switching pediatricians I wouldn’t recommend center for pediatrics to ANYONE! based on the reviews I’m not the only mother having problems. My daughter was born prematurely otherwise I would have had time to choose a pediatrician wisely and not bullied into this office by the nurses in l&d had I seen the reviews and had a chance to look into pediatricians prior to choosing this one I never would have!

Regional Pediatrics doesn’t even deserve one star. When I had my daughter I wasn’t able to keep the pediatrician I picked because of insurance issues. So they made Regional Peds her doctor. After six months of bad experiences, I’m changing to a different pediatrician. This place is awful.Today I called to make my daughter a sick appointment because she’s got a barking cough and wheezing after having the flu. I waited on hold two times for more than twenty minutes. Had to hang up each time to tend to my daughter. Finally got her down for a nap and called back a third time. I waited on hold for forty minutes before speaking to someone. They took my daughters information, asked what was wrong and all that, just to tell me that the next appointment available is Wednesday. And that I should just take her to a night clinic. It’s gone about the same almost every time I’ve tried to make a sick appointment. I almost always end up going to the night clinic we use, who is fantastic. This is just one of many issues I’ve had with regional Peds. The doctors are rude. They don’t care about your concerns as long as your child is eating and a healthy weight. They don’t listen to anything I say. Everytime we go, I end up spending at least an hour or two there. It’s not clean. The only good thing I have to say, is that most of the nurses are great. Several of them have complained to me about regional peds and apologized for issues they’ve had no control over.Don’t waste your time taking you kids here.

The doctors have to constantly confer with other as if they are unsure of them self’s. Staff do not answer the phones after hours on hold, my wife and I are new parents and if we see or experience anything that we think is a problem or needs to be addressed we get told that’s normal and were chuckled at. We will most likely find new doctors very soon

The worst clinic ever. I was lucky if I found a doctor who care. Last time I was there (December 2017) they forgot about me. I stayed there waiting for 3 and half hours. When I walked out I realized I was the only one there. The staff that went in the room just told me to wait. I am pregnant, and me and my daughter were hungry. I had to leave to an urgent care. And this is not the only time. I WAS PATIENT WITH THEM FOR THEIR MESS FOR TO LONG. I even had a coupon they gave me as an apology because they had me waiting when I was fairly new there. Also, whenever I took my daughter there they will tell me there is nothing they could do. That she just had a common virus for whatever I would take her and that it will go away on its own.

Regional Pediatrics is very much a hit or miss experience. Being a state-funded institution, most of the doctors are getting residency hours and thus cycle in and out. The vast majority of them are awesome in my experience. One particular lady was very bossy and critical of my parenting style, but all the rest have been encouraging and helpful. Similarly, most of the nurses are polite to parents and great with children. One complaint I have is that getting back to see a doctor seems to take forever. I realize that this is the case with most doctors offices, but it is something to be aware of. Get there on time or early for your appointment, and be ready for a long wait.

If i could give zero stars I most definitely would. I have been trying for a week to get these people to answer the phone to schedule my child a sick visit because she has a bad cough. I’ve left TWO voicemails that were to be returned in “48 hours”.. and nothing. I will not reccomend this place to anyone. Might as well disconnect the phone if you aren’t ever going to answer it. We will be finding a new doctor for my daughter.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is the absolute worst. First they told us that they no longer accept my childs health insurance - which is one of the largest providers in the state and I know for a fact they take it because when we called the physician finder number on my card they said this place was on their list of Drs that accept said insurance. So after telling us they do not take my insurance and telling me I would need to change my insurance (this is insurance through work, not something I can change) and refusing to see my baby daughter, they send me a letter stating that I missed my appointment and if it happens again I will be charged a fee.. EXCUSE ME?!Needless to say, I have changed pediatricians and will NEVER be back.side note: I called four days ago to get shot records for my childs new pediatrician and have yet to hear anything.Save your money, co-pays, whatever. Go anywhere else.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Not only have they rescheduled my childrens appointments MULTIPLE times without as much as a call letting me know but their doctors are also very ignorant. Dr. Jurrs told me multiple times I was a young paranoid mom and my child was exhibiting normal infant behavior....come to find out (after 3 hospital stays) my daughter has been diagnosied with EPILEPSY. The videos were showing OBVIOUS SEIZURES. I called the office and was ASSURED Dr. Jurrs wouldnt be around either of my daughters that they promised they would only see Dr. Brown from this point forward, come to find out thats a blatant lie because Dr. Brown goes out on maternity leave in August! I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this practice.

The doctors are amazing with my son. BUT.... It makes me highly upset that when Im told to call a day before my sons appointment for his flu booster, my call gets hung up each time. Ive called at least 6 times today and each time my call is hung up. This is highly frustrating. Im continuously hung up on each time I call. Im not sure if the phones are messed up or what but if so then this problem needs to be resolved asap. Please and thank you.

Worst experience we have had with a medical center. Our 18 month old has had 3 ear infections and we were told that since we took her to an immediate care branch of the SAME hospital system, they didnt believe the doctors because they dont like and trust the doctors at immediate care since they dont work in the main facility. Needless to say, we will be changing pediatricians IMMEDIATELY

This is a prime example of socialized medicine (free medicine). It basically is the catch all of Medicaid Pediatrics patients. They are over run with patients, you will not see the same doctor everytime (so they wont know your child & its health habits), you will wait a long time which is a normal thing with this kind of health clinic.
