Im fairly certain that these people dont care whether you live or die. I was degraded the first time that I gave this place a chance, and the second time I try this place, many months later, Im given an attitude, and it has been made pretty clear that Im only worth their time if I have money. I suppose that Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

This place is TERRIBLE. My husband came from an amazing Greenville doctor who simply wanted him to try this place out since it was supposed to have a full approach to mental health care. The therapist was awful. She was late to his session, made him feel like she could care less about her job and never even scheduled him for a follow up. Communication has been bad with scheduling. One month after we started here, we received a huge bill from the main place in Columbia for almost $1000 for only two appmts. Not ONCE did anyone (especially the “care coordinator” during his appmt who is supposed to make sure he gets all the help he needs) mention his insurance would not pay for the care here. This is a major expense for any family. They are currently in a “revamp” I’ve heard, going through some changes. I will never step foot in here again after this awful experience! It made me scared for his life letting him go here to be honest. I pray this place improves over the coming years! Spartanburg needs much better mental health care than it has.

Honestly, I will update this review if things go better, but as they stand, this is is one of the two worst mental health services we have used as a provider. When I say we, I mean myself and my disabled spouse, who relies on me as caretaker and can lack the capacity to communicate with medical staff. This office required 3 weeks of constant calling(5+x/day, due to the ineffective phone directory) to find out that they had dropped the ball and no one wanted to take accountability for a delay it caused which almost cost me my job. Not only that, no one wanted to rectify the situation, and I had to request to speak with administration and put in a complaint to be helped. Then, I recieved a bill, called in to discuss it, and was told my spouse did not fill out the paperwork necessary for me to speak with billing staff, after I had been allowed to speak to both his Dr and therapist.WHY do your clients, who are coming to you for help with MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES need to know what to request for themselves, which requires mental organization at least? Why isnt someone on staff to assist those of us who have done their due diligence as clients, but lack the medical knowledge to request things necessary for their care? When a client(s) lets you know about a particular deviation in their needs, it needs to be documented and heeded. Some of your patients are NOT stable, and could very well end up in a crisis with the kind of diligence currently provided. Very disappointed at the moment. However, 2 stars because my spouse says that his therapist is genuine and patient, and appreciates his advocacy.Edit: one star update, because the therapist refuses to do any other type of therapy except work out of a work book, and because they only change meds every 3 months. Ridiculously provider-centered instead of patient centered.

My psychiatrist is pretty good. the only issue is my mom died like a week ago and i physically can not male it to school. all I needed was a physician to give me a note saying I needed to do online school. ive called 4 days in a row and everytime Im transferred to someone, it goes straight to voicemail. the voicemail also says they will call back that same day. ive called every day for the last 4 days and Im still not any closer than I was before. my grades are dropping because of it and ive constantly explained that to the Lady on the phone. she was nice but no one else seems to care at all.

Do not waste your time with this place. They hardly ever answer a phone or return phone calls. They change appointments and do not bother to notify the patient or family that is was charged. All its been for us is big waste of time and a headache. They def dont put patients as their priority. That is very damn obvious. Dont think we will ever be going back to this facility. If i could have left no stars I would have.

Worst place Ive ever been. They used to be amazing. Changed policies and staff around last year and it went downhill. There are MANY other places to go that will actually treat you with respect and not charge you $650 ON A REDUCED RATE for a 1st appointment alone where you dont even see a Dr, they just make you sit there all day to talk to a person on a screen for 2 mins.

Called everyday for a week trying to get med refills for my child. It says on the voicemail they will call you back that day, all lies. My child almost ended back in a psych hospital because Spartanburg mental health wouldnt do their job and call in her refills.

I went when I first got out of prison from doing 14years and 9 months. And the only thing that they did was wrote down my issue and sent me on my way. I dont even remember what happened because I blacked out. From being so confined for so many years. I still have a lot of promblem. Which I never got help for. I should be going over there in the morning to see what they do for me. Because I really, really need help from these people voices I hear screaming in my head.

They need to be carefully what they put on your chart. They need more experience on counseling their clients, because they have no experience at all. This is a sorry place to go for therapy.

I was just basically told to kill myself since I have no car to get there. This town and the resources are horrible. To call an ambulance is ridiculous n going to the hospital for a crisis but not that major.

These people are reckless, they give prescriptions to people that are not only addictive but also need to be re prescribed monthly and if you dont have the money to go see them for 300 dollars each month, if you can get ahold of them that is they will let you go into withdraws with no tapir and no re ups even if you are new to the drug this place needs a good lawsuits so they can get themselves together and figure out who to fire.
