First of all, the receptionist Ms. Nancy sets the atmosphere with a smile and go out of her way to make this the beginning of a lifetime experience!! She is definitely more than a receptionist and deserves all 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I been dealing with neck problems for the past 6 years but my chiropractor, Dr. Greg was all ears, letting me bring him up to date since the 2016 injury. Dr. Greg is definitely the people’s champ and is very knowledgeable of his profession. He deserves 5 stars multiplied!!!! He is the gentle giant of the chiropractors. I advise not only people with back & neck pain but all people to go and get an adjustment by the Joint Chiropractor on Blackstock rd. I will definitely be a lifetime member of this place!!! I had my first experience this week at The Joint Chiropractic Spartanburg. I highly recommend! I came in with low back pain and my right leg going numb. I was so frustrated this pain had made my daily life hard to manage. The receptionist Is so helpful and welcoming! I was referred to Dr. Justin and he was fantastic. He thoroughly explained the process and all the steps to get me healed. He gave me a great adjustment. I saw light at the end of the tunnel. I have since been two more times and saw Dr. Pam and Dr. Sarah. They are also amazing! Dr. Sarah gave me more tips to help with this sciatic pain. I will be going and a regular basis for healing and continue with maintenance to stay healed. They have the most affordable pricing. Do not continue with your pain! I experienced my first ever onset of sciatica about 2 weeks ago. It was the worst pain I had ever experienced in my life! I ended up going to Urgent Care on a Sunday, because I just couldnt take it anymore. They prescribed me meds, that by day 3, were just not working. So, on day 3, I started using my mothers crutches, just to get SOME support! That same day, I decided to go to the chiropractor (terrified because I was always scared they would paralyze me). I met Dr. Sarah on my first visit, and she was very in-tuned to what was going on with me. She made me feel very comfortable, so I immediately let go of my anxieties. The entire time she was adjusting me, I was in pain and did not want to go back, but she assured me that after about 3 visits, I should experience some relief, so I stuck it out, as she wanted me back the very next day! I complied. Still taking my meds and still in writhing pain and on crutches, I hobbled into the office the next day, but Dr. Sarah was not there! I grew anxious again. This doctor was not as inviting as Dr. Sarah was, but he had this confidence about him that I really appreciated, so I relaxed, somewhat... Midway through the visit with him, I knew I was going to be ok. He, like Dr. Sarah wanted me back the next day, again! I was more at ease this time though, so once again, I complied. Still on crutches, on my meds and in writhing pain, I walked into the office the next day, and guess who was there! Yep! Dr. Sarah! Immediately she was like, Ah I see you are still on crutches! I was amazed that she remembered me, and she did not hold back from acknowledging it out loud. It made me feel like more than just a scanned ID card. I really appreciated that! So, fast forward. Over the weekend, I saw Dr. Tiffany. She was a real sweetheart, a little quiet, bu really nice. By the time I saw Dr. Tiffany, though, I was feeling really, really, good! I didnt really need my crutches 100%, but I hadnt trusted myself without them yet. That was on Sunday... By Monday, I felt like a brand new person! I had my crutches in the car with me, but I was not taking them into the stores with me. By Tuesday, I didnt even take my crutches to work! I was almost back to my old self! Well, I decided to go in to the chiropractor on my lunch break, TODAY, which is Wednesday, and Dr. Sarah and the male chiropractor who assisted me last Thursday was there. Dr. Sarah IMMEDIATELY (while working with another patient) was like No more crutches, I see! That made my day! It was so heartwarming to me that she remembered me and once again, verbalized it as soon as she saw me walk to the back. I am so pleased with the customer care and Dr. Sarahs personableness (if you will), that I am going to keep my membership going at Joint Chiropractic! Thank you to all of the doctors who got me off of those crutches and to a place where I never thought I would be again, but a special thanks to Dr. Sarah for going the extra mile!

I went in to this place with a pinched nerve from my neck that was causing excruciating pain in my face. They were thorough, there was barely any wait time, and the chiropractors genuinely cared about my situation and health. My husband first came here in 2018 due to a work related injury, and was happy with his care. However, he just began a new wellness plan due to the same injury and we were both blown away by the care he is receiving by Dr. Justin! Dr. Justin takes his time to understand the underlying issues from the past and current, but also gets down to business to get you out the door in a timely manner. He really knows his stuff and how to provide the best possible patient care! We also absolutely love Ms. Nancy at the reception desk. Two weeks ago I went to the optometrist and he recommended a prescription to help ease the workload on my eyes. I’m a migraine sufferer and he thought these would help. He also recommended I see Dr. Justin, who one of his patients recommended to him for those with migraines.Today I went to pick up my new glasses and the prescription made everything blurry. The optometrist re-examined me, and believe it or not my vision is COMPLETELY different than it was 2 weeks ago.Why you ask? DR. JUSTIN!!!!!Not only are my eyes not working so hard, but my migraine intensity has decreased in just 5 visits!I never believed in chiropractic care until meeting Dr. Justin!Go see him today! I promise you won’t regret it!

I greatly appreciate the CSR located in the front. She was very welcoming once I arrived. When I wake my lower and mid back aches and standing for long periods of time isnt my strong ability anymore. So I took a chance and went for an alignment. She was very professional and extremely motivating. I wanted to wait until the morning after to give an honest review.... I was able to rest last night without any lower back aching. I woke up this morning to laying out my yoga mat and completing my first stretch in about 5 months. I am not writing this for a discount so what you do with this information is completely up to you but I do suggest that you give it a try.

I called the office today and spoke with Nancy. I was in pain and I was requesting to be seen as a new patient. She was super helpful and she listened and asked questions. She got me in immediately. The Dr was super! He listened and he asked questions. I didn’t feel rushed and he knew what he was doing. I left feeling better and with an actual plan to help resolve the issue. Something my old chiropractor never offered. They have a bunch of locations and the hours make it easy to fit into my crazy hectic schedule. I’m so thankful to have found these people. I look forward to my future visits.

My first chiropractic care being adjusted weekly has given me relief and ability to keep up with my children and being able to run around with my boys. The wait is not long at all . Since then Justin Schutrumpf came up with a solid and comprehensive game plan, and after months of improvements I am back to normal and better than before. Absolute life saver! Im an OTR Truck Driver and use to go to a chiropractor regularly before i started driving but couldnt ever get in once i started driving due to being gone for weeks at a time and spending time with my family what little time I am at home. I found The Joint and its great that they have so many locations and being Spartanburg will be my home location i cant wait to go back for regular visits. They explain everything to where you can understand and take the time to listen to your complaints and address them. I came in today stiff and hurting and left feeling 100 times better and will continue to stay that way through regular visits with them. Highly recommend!

Ive been dealing with low back pain for 6 years. I didnt think that chiropractic practice would be effective but kinda decided on a whim to give it a shot, mainly to just cross it off my list. I was wrong, very wrong. I started noticing that the pain was gone after 3 visits. Ive been back once a week since and the pain has remained gone. I am utterly shocked. Now, I fear that I have played the fool by judging before experiencing. Dr. Matt & Dr. Justin have taken care of my issue swiftly & effectively. I should have done this six years ago. The staff at the joint are professional & knowledgeable. You will not be dissapointed.

Had my first adjustment today, everyone is very nice and professional. And they take the time to explain everything to you. I went in because I had a migraine, and they were quick to tell me that I would likely still have a migraine when I left but an adjustment can help. The adjustment helped a lot, however I did still have a migraine. I have followed the doctors orders and increased my water and have been applying ice. Going back Saturday 8/3 for my 2nd adjustment.

Dr. Laura is amazing. This was my first visit and i will be going back twice a week. I have scoilosis and needed a good chiropractor. I love that you can either pay for each visit or have a monthly plan (WHICH IS CLEARLY EXPLAINED BEFORE YOU SIGN) and you are obligated to two months but after that in order to not have it drafted out of your account you must tell them 2 DAYS before your draft is supposed to come out. I think the monthly plan is a great deal and plan to use it for years to come.

BEWARE ! Auto renewal contract. I started using The Joint last winter. I began with individual visits as I needed. Then I signed up for a wellness Plan that reduced my individual visit cost. When I signed up nobody discussed with me any details of termination. I used this plan for about two months and then decided I needed different care. I noticed on my Credit Card bill that I was still being charged. I called The Joint and spoke with the desk and requested my plan be canceled. She said she would handle it. I called my credit card company and issued a block from this merchant for any further charges and they suggested I close my account and get another card, so I did. Now I have recently discovered they have continuously been charging me ever since for a total of 7 months, a total of over $400. I called the Joint to see why I was being charged even-though I had canceled. Just how could this be ? They replied that I never properly terminated my plan which involves coming back into the office and physically signing a termination form. All I asked was for a credit back to my card for the un-used and un-intended visits and for them to take responsibility for their employees actions. After all I consented to pay for the month of April even-though I didnt use them for my first mistake of not calling to cancel. So far they have refused to give me a credit. The General Manager must be a coward because he or she will not return a phone call. I have launched a fraud charge with my credit card company. SO BEWARE even-though you may close an account and get new card, companies like The Joint can get your new number and continue to charge you. Without using a whole lot of not so nice adjectives this really says more about what kind of company The Joint is. I havent been back since March 2019 yet they continued to charge me April - September and would still be charging me to this day had I not caught it.. I will say office manager named Nancy has been nice enough to send me emails and return my call, but I do not recommend doing any contracts with this company and use this review as a warning. Whoever heard of a service in this day in time where you cant cancel over a phone call?

I decided to give the joint a try after a while of dealing with an undiagnosed injury to my back shoulder area. The staff was great. However after signing up, I did not feel as if my injury was was diagnosed or being helped. Soon after signing up and deciding I wasnt going to return to the joint, my grandmother passed away out of state. So while Im out I called and told the receptionist I wanted to discontinue with the joint, I was told to come in to sign cancellation papers. During my time around the funeral I had forgotten about the papers i was told to sign. 3 months later i check my account to find theyve been billing me the whole time. I called and spoke to the manager after signing the cancellation papers yesterday and requesting a refund for the charges of services I never received. She told me no, I cannot get a refund. This is a money hungry business and I do not reccomend anyone go here. Their priority is your money, not your care. Perfect example of a deceiving smiling face business. Unfortunately I will be taking them to small claims court over the several hundred dollars that is owed to me. I gave them 2 months notice of the 2 days minimum they required of me. There are many chiropractors in Spartanburg. This one will steal from you and tell you oh well. Not this time.

This is a great deal for long term chiropractic care. Four visits for a flat rate and additionals cost just $10. You cant beat it! If one of the Doctors doesnt suit you, try the others, I have my favorite, but Im confident in all of them.

If you read the contract that youre signing you know exactly what financial agreement you are getting into. The facilities are clean and very professional. When signing up for the monthly plan you have a 2 month commitment to The Joint. This means, for the next two months, they WILL draw money from the account you listed. If you decide to cancel your membership, you must give them 30 days notice. Meaning, if you start your membership on the 1st of the month, and you contact them on the 15th of the second month of your membership, they WILL draw the money from your account for the third month of your membership.

I had never been adjusted before I walked into The Joint Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. I had watched videos of adjustments before but I was excited to get my first adjustment. I highly DO NOT recommend this place. I agreed to a 30 day monthly adjustment but found I dont have the time to go up there. I called to cancel my membership and cancel the bank draft and was told I would be charged for an additional 30 days and that they will not stop drafting from my account until I physically go there to go over the paperwork. I wouldnt even give this place one star if I didnt have to to write the review.
