I really can’t say enough great things about this veterinary facility. Compassionate and friendly staff and doctors, extremely transparent and professional, and reasonable pricing. I brought my old kitty here for years up to the end of his life, and when it was time for him to pass the staff and doctor were so kind and made sure we gave our good boy the most peaceful transition possible. Our current kitty is also a patient despite the fact that we recently moved a half hour away; it’s worth the drive to deal with a facility that I trust, one that offers reasonably priced AND excellent service.

Loving staff, the treat you like family and explains everything to you so you understand the situation and have the best treatment plans for your furry friend!!!!

As the phrase goes, good aint cheap and cheap aint good. No one likes to have to take their pets to the vet, and certainty dont like the bill in the end. But the doctors and nurses are kind, understanding, and show a trusting and caring nature to my dogs. Im confident in what they do for our animals and will continue have them treated here.

Our kitten Mega is pretty easy going, a little squirrelly, but generally likes everything. She had a great time exploring the exam room and it was nice that they gave her a variety of treats durning her visit to see what she would actually like. Everything was smooth. Got in to see the vet at my appointment time, no long weird wait in the room. The visit was quick and they scheduled us for her next 2 appointments right away. Also was reasonably priced for having such prompt and friendly service.

Exceptional service. These people have mastered the art of exemplary customer service! Dr. Jackman is such a dedicated, concerned and thorough veterinarian. My puppy simply gravitated to the staff. Yes, they are THAT welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a furry. Your pet will feel at ease, at home.hey, take a look at the first thing you see when approaching the building. Overall, it was a great experience. They were able to get my dog in quickly for some tests. The doctor addressed all my questions and concerns. The team was very gentle with my dog while getting samples for tests.

I absolutely love this place. When my cats tooth was infected and worsening they were the only place within (literally) 40 miles that took us in same day. I was even turned away by my cats vet of 3 years. Every employee that I have interacted with has been incredibly kind and the Vets are amazing. I pass about 10 different Vet offices on my 35min drive to this place, but it’s totally worth it. So happy I found this place.

A friend of mine recommended Greenfield Animal Hospital to me after I had a bad experience at my previous vet (my dog was always very stressed there and the vet’s office lacked patience, it was never a good time). I was nervous, because I do own a very energetic and playful dog, but the visit to Greenfield was a complete 180 compared to my previous vet. They complimented my dog’s behavior and told me he did great. He came out from the visit much less stressed than he ever did from the previous vet, and I feel that he was very well cared for. Both the tech and doctor I spoke with were very nice, completely understood my concerns and I felt HEARD. I am a worry wart and I know that, but they did not make me feel like my worries were off the wall. They checked him out and took the proper steps to make sure he was all good. I will definitely be going back.

I travel from the far east side (SCS, MI) so its not a quick trip - they better be good and they are; especially important because theyre not the cheapest vet around.

I recently left a one-star review in ERROR before Greenfield Animal Hospital was able to reply to my questions. I have since changed this to a five-star review because the communication problems were beyond their control due to a power outage. My sincere apologies to Greenfield and any potential patients.

I have been going to Greenfield animal hospital since 2019. I had found them by chance after my dog had hurt her back and I needed a vet ASAP. Google came to the rescue. They have become my permanent vet. The staff is always very warm and welcoming. They are great with the animals. A++ in my book.

They quickly approved my online appointment and made me feel at ease when calling in about a “sick” cat. Of course the cat was fine but had an upset stomach. The doctor was very kind though and understood my stress and wanting to make sure the cat was in fact ok. All the techs just loved my little girl and wanted me to bring her back right away. It wasn’t too expensive and they took great care of her.

Greenfield Animal Hospital is one of the best vet experiences Ive ever had. They are so responsive, they actually follow up with you, and everyone that works there has so much compassion for our furry babies. Cant recommend this place enough!

The employees at Greenfield Animal Hospital especially Dr. Hood has always given my Winston and Jazzy excellent care. During the time when my Jazzy was sick, they would always fit her in when she needed immediate care. She is gone now, but for over 15 years they cared for my fur babies. A++ - Attentive, accepting, and actively involved in making sure your fur baby’s needs are being met in a biopsychosocial and behavioral way. We’ve been going here for nearly three years - even after moving 45 minutes away. They have such a kindred and loving staff that wants nothing but the best for your pets - reception, techs, and veterinarians alike. Even through the “shelter-in-place” order, their standards of care (for both pets and people) and their adaptability in meeting those needs went above and beyond. They’re always available for questions and consultations and are very flexible whether we need a prescription refill or a puppy weigh in or to reschedule an appointment. I was recommended this place when I first got my rescue pup by three different people. There is definitely a reason for that!

Highly recommend! Dr. Hood and Dr. Seewick are at the top of their field in knowledge, experience and expertise. They get you in and out, no unnecessary recommendations and they give you a price estimate before anything is done. Also flexible in letting you decide what is best for your pet and what you can afford. The staff is cheery, helpful and they listen. I’ve been with them for several years.

The Vet Tech and Vet herself were both on the floor with an 8 year old dog who had been rescued and made the dog feel so comfortable

We started coming here after our vet retired. We love this clinic so much! They are so thorough, communicative, compassionate and we feel very confident taking our 3 kitties there. Dr. Sewick always calls to follow up with us and makes everything very seamless. You can also text or use the app to refill prescriptions, which is super convenient. We can’t say enough good things about them and everyone there has been so great. When my one cat was sick they made time to see him same day. They are very accommodating and really care about your pets.

They’ve been treating my kitten since he was my foster. He has a mysterious chronic respiratory issue and they’ve been so persistent and compassionate in helping me figure out how to improve his quality of life. They’re always organized, compassionate and patient with me as the nervous pet parent. I know whenever I need to drop him off that he will receive comprehensive and compassionate care and that I’ll get kind and detailed communication throughout and all my questions will be answered. Highly recommend these responsible and caring folks. They also take covid safety really seriously.

We took our dog in for a neuter and everything seemed perfectly fine. They called us 4 hours later saying “they didn’t get everything they wanted accomplished done”???? The ended up giving him anesthesia based on his weight from 4 months prior which made him wake up half way through. Then when they went to give him more he completely freaked out. Now our dog has PTSD with the vets and it’s a huge issue now. Never had this issue prior to Greenfield screwing up. Talked to a number of Vets saying that is a complete “rookie move”. We will never go here again and they mentally ruined our dog with vets permanently.

They have a very nice staff theyre kind and patient. They are very gentle with your pets.

I just had my first visit to Greenfield Animal Hospital. It was an outstanding experience. I got an appointment within two days as a new patient. They are handling the new COVID-19 protocols efficiently and smoothly. We were in and out in 45 minutes. The vet addressed all of my concerns and laid out an excellent plant. She called a few days later to follow up. Well be back.

This crew knows. I had an emergency with one of my cats and I was able to bring him in and have him taken back immediately, they saved his little life!! They’re timely, kind, explain everything you need to know, and have tons of patience and empathy.

My dog had his eye removed on 12/30/2020. The staff cared for him and there were no complications. Dr. Hood was very thorough when informing me of his actions and care. Ashley the technician was so sweet my dog was cuddled up to her upon pick up. My dog loves the staff and that means a lot to me. Usually he gets stressed at the vet and drools, but he just bounced right through the door.

My experience was wonderful! My cat was in great hands and all of my questions were answered. We were made a priority and I am very grateful. We have found a new vet home for our furbabies. You never know what to expect as a new client and this office got my kitty in very quickly for her strange sudden aggression issue. The vet gave me great advice and I am very thankful for their compassion and professionalism.

They were so kind, my dog is of the anxious variety and they were so sweet and patient with him. Prices were affordable. Everything was efficient. Couldnt ask for more!

I have been taking pets to greenfield for years. My mom did and my dad still does. So naturally when my husband and I rescued a puppy a week and a half ago we made an appointment. It wasnt til we showed up to the appointment that neither of us could come in. We wanted at least one of us in there. But that was not communicated. Had it been i would have politely declined to set anything up. Nor was there any info in the email verifying the appointment. Extremely unprofessional given covid. Should make sure they give a guide to how their business is being run. Wasted time and gas. No longer the vet for me.I wasnt told by your staff. Im a ok with curbside due to covid. Im a type 1 diabetic for 30 yrs. believe me when I say I get it. But he was a puppy and I or my husband want to be in there with him. He is a puppy found on 8 mile we rescued so that was important to us. Again. I didnt misunderstood something I wasnt told. You can say there was a miscommunication. I say you guys didnt explain at any point what your covid system was.

So even though we couldnt go in cause of covid restrictions. They have a very good set up for social distance. They seem to take very good care of the animals. The appointment was on time and quick.

Greenfield Animal Hospital is a great vet. They are really friendly, the staff is knowledgeable and patient and I think they have a done an amazing job navigating their operations during Covid. Although the process of visiting the vet has changed, they are extremely informative and I always know what to expect when I arrive. Additionally, after the appointment there is always an opportunity to speak with someone and ask any questions I may have.As for their prices, Ive moved a couple times over the years so Ive taken my dog to a few different veterinarians; in my opinion Greenfields prices are reasonable. I never leave an appointment feeling like I was overcharged and more importantly I never feel like they push services that arent necessary.

I love this office. When we moved to the area with our high anxiety, reactive dog, we were nervous to find a vet. Greenfield has provided the BEST service to us and our dogs and I would recommend them to ANYONE. Every doctor has been there to help us navigate medication for our adult dog as well as being there for us as first time puppy parents. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

During these trying times, it’s been hard to find a good vet. Greenfield Animal Hospital is a GREAT veterinary hospital. Everyone there was so nice, so sweet, so professional. We got $25 off for a referral & they sent us home with such cute toys for our puppy Mai. It didn’t take long at all, & as I said, the people were wonderful. We have a cat too & I know for sure that they will be out vet forever.

We took our dog here after we first rescued her. We didn’t know for sure what she needed, she was our first dog, and we had never had a vet experience before. This was also in the middle of our statewide lockdown! Their curbside service was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and our call with the vet was informative and clear. From the receptionists, to the Vet Techs, to the Vets, everybody was so warm and welcoming. I could tell they truly cared about my pup. A friend referred me to them when i got my 9wk old lab, and we both received a $25 credit. After my puppy recd his vaccines, he suffered a little bit of a reaction the following morning (which is totally normal), and they were able to schedule me in ASAP to check on him. They gave him some medication to make him feel better (free of charge) and genuinely cared about his well-being. Im very happy to have found Greenfield Animal Hospital and will continue to take my puppy here!

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. They have been nothing but convenient, passionate and caring towards my cat. They have taken care of all his preventive care and sick care. He even had a favorite vet tech! He might not have liked the car ride but he loved it here. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. I also like that they can handle serious care as well.

My little rescue dog has an anxiety disorder. Hes incredibly sweet but he needs to take his time with new people, which makes vet visits really difficult and scary for both of us. Ive taken him to different vets in the past and we havent had great experiences. Weve been to places where the vets/staff have grabbed and touched him without warning, which caused him to become even more fearful than he already was. When I found Greenfield, I was so relieved. Ive taken him here three times so far, and each time theyve been so incredibly wonderful and kind. Weve always been able to get appointments promptly. I get his prescriptions easily. And they respect my dogs autonomy; they prioritize his comfort and understand his anxiety. He feels calm and safe here. And I feel 100% confident in the medical care hes provided. Im so endlessly grateful for Greenfield Animal Hospital.Im also a professional dog walker, and Ive recommended Greenfield to several clients. Id recommend them to anyone who has a nervous pet or anyone looking for a vet they can trust.

When our dog TBone was so very sick and hospitalized at Greenfield, everyone was so kind and sweet and let me spend time in the kennel sitting with him. Dr.s are all seasoned professionals. TBone is the only dog I know who adores going to see everyone at Greenfield. My other two dogs have appointment aniexty but not TBone. Monte loves Tracy, and my husband loves the aquarium residence in the lobby. Thank you Greenfield for all of your talents!

Greenfield Animal Hospital is wonderful. Great staff and team of vets. They take great care of both of our four leg family members Pebbles (Bichon Fresé) and Emerald our kitty.

My experience was awesome, everyone was awesome! The doctor was amazing and seemed to really care about my dog. The doctor even called me the next day to ask me how he was doing and gave me the results of his blood work. I was touched because I figured one of the staff would call with the results; not the doctor. This is the best place ever to take your pets.

This is my second appointment with them during covid and although they are not allowing people in the office, they could not be more accommodating with clients. My dog is a bit anxious around strangers and the staff took every effort to make sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

I have come here for years and I currently have all 3 of my cats, and my boxer dog seen regularly. They are caring, and explain everything. They are affordable and fair on pricing. When I had to put one of my cats down they really helped me and my family, We moved and I always drive my animals back to be seen by these docs and tech. They are very professional and compassionate.

The customer Service has been on a steady decline for the last year and a half, and then when Covid started, they just stopped caring completely, I’ve been going there for a long time and the disrespect and constant raising of prices has finally pushed me away.

Its my first time with a puppy and Greenfield was able to boost my confidence with my pup while also providing great care. They were quick to schedule and very informative in the pre visit emails. When I arrived they were excited to meet my pup and made her feel very welcomed. The entire staff seemed very knowlegable and could answer all of My questions. My pup was happily wagging her tail the whole time. (Even when she got the shot) We look forward to our next visit.

Greenfield Animal Hospital has been nothing but amazing for me and dog since I got him as a puppy last fall, theyre very professional and great with the pet service as well as the customer service. When my dog came down with pneumonia at the start of the pandemic they got him in immediately and had him healthy again with a few days of treatment. Theyre definitely not the cheapest vet around, but their costs very reasonable and fair overall for the excellent level of service offered. You cant go wrong with them.

Ashley/all the vet techs are awesome, but Dr. Jachmann and Dr. Hood can be a little dismissive/condescending if you ask really straightforward clarifying questions.

Told me my cat would be dead or very very sick in a matter of months if I didn’t do chemo & radiation. She had a lump that was removed. I really waited a while before posting this because I had mixed emotions. I’m grateful my baby is OK but had I followed the initial vets advice it wouldve cost me THOUSANDS of dollars and put my poor kitty thru hell. Not to mention thinking my cat was actively dying for months. She is completely fine much time later. It was very bad advice on their behalf & we won’t be back.

Had an unfortunate situation where my cat refused to eat his $40 prescription diet food and they had no issue with replacing it with the kind he would eat. Very appreciative that they could do that.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of my dog Finnigan. He was an outstanding dog, and it pains me that he suffered as long as he did due to the treatment he received at Greenfield.Finnigan had been suffering from incontinence and diarrhea for months. Of course all the normal things were done- bloodwork, xrays, medicine. He had the strange additional symptom of not being able to lift his tail, which I repeatedly mentioned and questioned. A young (under 4 yr old) large breed GSD, he continued to drop weight and nothing seemed to work – in fact, things just got worse.Timeline:3/24/17 Dr. Jachman ruled out ‘neuro issues’ for Finnigan. We continued running tests and providing medicine.7/2017 Finnigan had not improved and was 119lbs fro 140 lbs.8/2017 Finnigan’s weight dropped to 109. No improvement.10/2017 Finnigan’s weight dropped to 104.11/14/2017 Finnigan’s weight dropped to 92. A 12% decrease in one month. Also has a distended bladder and needed to be catheterized. I express extreme concern and ask for a referral to OVRS. Dr. Jachman states “I dont think you have to rush into an appointment with a specialist”.11/17/2017 More bloodwork. No improvement in symptoms.11/20/2017 I woke Finnigan was vomiting, had severe diarrhea, glossy eyes and drooling at the mouth. I rushed him to MSU Emergency where he was admitted 2 minutes after my arrival.11/22/2017 Finnigan was diagnosed with a neurological issue that required Neurology/Decompressive surgery of the L7 vertebrae near the tail. The specialist surgery was performed- a week after I was told by Dr. Jachman that I didn’t need to see a specialist. Incontinence and a limp tail were all symptomatic of this issue.12/20/2017 Finnigan was euthanized. He was so far gone and so much damage had been done to his poor body by the time we got help that there was no saving him. He was 4 years old.I’m more than just disappointed that my sweet, young dog is gone. I’m incredibly disappointed with the way his health & my concerns were treated. Had he seen a specialist early on, we may have stood a fighting chance.Why was there such a reluctance to set up a referral to a specialist, both for neurology and internal medicine?Why decline to provide a referral for an IBS biopsy?Why was his inability to lift his tail for nearly a year dismissed as non-neurological?Why, after admitting his urination wasn’t normal and noting a distended bladder, was the recommendation to wait for 2 more weeks of monitoring him?Why did no one call to even check on him during the time that it became clear his health was declining?Finnigan was well treated during acute issues and boarding, but when faced with something chronic and progressive, Greenfield really failed. In retrospect, it’s clear that the incontinence we were treating was a symptom of something far worse, which Greenfield failed to identify for nearly a year. I will have to live with the regret that despite my advocacy, Greenfield failed to provide the referrals that he desperately need.I’m writing this in memory of my poor boy, and as a warning to other pet parents: trust your gut. And if ANY vet refuses to give you a referral or treats you like you’re ‘overly concerned’ or ‘panicked’, find a new vet.

I’m a first time pet owner on my own (outside of my parents pets) and taking my cat to the vet was nerve wrecking at first but greenfield made me feel at ease even during these COVID times and takes great care of my girl every time!

I brought my kitten here because I was worried she injured her front leg after getting rambunctious and jumping off of things, and I called up Greenfield and they were amazing. Set me up with an appointment, and when it was time for the appointment, they were quick, thorough and exhibit a complete willingness to help your fur babies. My little fur baby was fine, no breaks or anything major, just needed some pain meds and a day to sleep it off and she was back to her wild little self.Thank you so much again, Greenfield!

Great staff and service

The experience at Greenfield Animal Hospital is always top notch. I have had 2 dogs and both (although very different) received superb treatment. We have been going to Greenfield Animal Hospital for over 20 years!

I’m a first time dog owner, and I got my little rescue corgi during quarantine. I knew he needed to go to the vet as soon as things lifted, and I was pretty nervous as to how the new process would go with everything still being locked down pretty tight. When booking the appointment, The person I spoke with on the phone let me know that they would be taking care of him alone in the building, and they would keep correspondence with me over the phone about every step of the way. I was still pretty anxious and hesitant, but I knew through my friend that recommended that my little guy would be in good hands. When arriving, my dog was pretty nervous as he usually is, but between the technician and the veterinarian herself, I was put at ease to know that he was responding positively to all of the treats and loving before even going through the exam. The vet took her time with him and didn’t push him to finish everything since he started to feel apprehensive. We settled up (and I saved a lot of money compared to the original estimate), and he came back out to me happy as ever! He was actually inching to go back into the building when I was handed his leash! I couldn’t be happier at the service that was extended to my little baby, and I would gladly recommend this veterinarian to ANYONE that has a furbaby!!

Dr. Shencopp and the behavioral tech, Laura, were amazing when working with my anxious puppy. They were incredibly patient and informative. I will be going here from now on, as well as telling everyone about how great their customer service is. Thank you!!

Great vets

I really love this place. I think all of the Vets are knowledgeable. I have 2 year old Shih Tzu and they take great care of him. One of my favorite things about this vet is that they do grooming. While he is there, they’ll do exams and shots and I don’t have to make a separate appt. Really appreciate the extra conveniences they provide in addition to their expertise.

Dr. Shencopp is incredible! Our dog is very difficult at the vet to put it mildly, and she is so calm and patient with him. Despite his attitude, she always gives him the best care and does whatever possible to work with us. I can’t recommend her enough. She’s great at what she does. All the office staff here are very friendly and make getting in for an appointment very easy. We love this office!

Great veterinarian practice!! Love Dr. Hood, he has helped create a relaxed and understanding office for very nervous animals. His techs are fabulous too. Great medical care as well as behavioral solutions.

You couldnt. I was extremely happy with how you guys handled Bobby and how informative you were and everything. We will definitely be coming back and bringing my other dog who I normally take all the way back to Kalamazoo to go to the vet. I have always been super nervous trying other vets but I definitely do not regret this. You guys are amazing! :)

My mother started taking her long haired dachshund (Cookie) about 20 years ago. Ive used them for about 14 years. A solid veterinary practice with three vets and lots of professional and support staff. Nice, clean full service facility.

Service is always good and professional! My dog isnt easy to deal with around unknown people but staff did a wonderful job of keeping him calm and attending to his needs!! I recommend GAH to my friends and family!!! Keep up the good work!!!

This place is great! They treat my beloved orange tabby like family and get me in and out quickly while still making me feel appreciated. Chelsea was very nice and a good listener, and Doctor Hood was very attentive. Everyone treated my cat gently and with love, and he got the care he needed. Highly recommended!
