New to the area and needed a Brazilian wax. I dont know the area so I started with the reviews and here I am. This place had a pretty good rating (4.4 at the time). The lady was nice and pleasing to talk to. Shop was basic and clean. The problem was the actual process. She was RIPPING the hair off my body like it was a rug 😭😭 it was painful and this wasnt my first time getting this treatment. Weeks later the hair grew in ingrown and the hair was coarse. Will not return.

Very nice eyebrow shop that does great eyebrow threading. The owner and her team work hard to satisfy the customers. Dream is a go to spot in Southfield, located inside the Harvard Row Mall. Patrons come out showing off their new look all the time. They service women and men. When you enter this quaint mall, Dream is immediately to your right.

So I’ve gotten my brows and my upper lip threaded here off and on for years. I recently found a new brow girl, so I popped in this weekend (12/19/20) to get my upper lip and lashes done. On 12/20/20 the clusters on the end started to lift and fall off.As of 12/23/20, my lashes are literally falling off. I was told they would last for two weeks. Arla (I may have misspelled this) did my lashes and assured me that they would last. I’m not a crazy sleeper nor do I do anything that would warrant my lashes literally falling off.I called and reached an appointment line. A man answered and essentially rushed me off the phone.This is crazy smh

I am very happy with the job they did on my eyebrows. I didn’t like that they scheduled 3-4 people all for the same time and didn’t really have a protocol in place to enforce social distancing. The waiting area is small and I felt uncomfortable being so close to people. I didn’t step outside because I didn’t want to lose my place in “line,” even though I made an appointment.If they had just scheduled us a few minutes apart and let people know to stay outside until their time that would have got them 5 stars from me. Safety first y’all!

I came here for eyebrow threading and it was quick and the result is good.! I had no wait time as I booked online. I’d come back again next time I need to trim:)

The young girl who I had never had before did them. Got home and I had to retweeze.Literally took 2 mins. Didn’t brush prior to starting. Didn’t look at the shape. Would have complained if I had any faith that she could make it better. Mind you the customer sitting there before me had 15 mins for for her brows.Incredibly disappointed.

I usually come here to get a Brazilian. I went here because it’s close to work and they are very fast! However the last two times I’ve been in including today was a total disaster. Both times both ladies were very rough. My second Brazilian I just muster through this discomfort however today was simply unbearable. So I settled for a partial Brazilian. Not to mention they never have sheets on the table only a strip of paper covering the table smh! I have wax residue in places I should not and lastly I get home and I see the piss poor job she did and I was livid! Of course I wasn’t given a mirror to see for myself prior to leaving. Of course I called to address my concerns and the number is only an appointment line and Dee would call me back. I’m upset at this point. The young lady on the phone refused to give me her name and explained herself as the appointment girl wth and hung up in my face. Granted they can be nice and welcoming. However their work is NOT consistent, cleanliness with this pandemic going on is not as it should be, and they lack true concern for customers who are not satisfied with their service. Here it is I’m paying for my service and tipping for service rendered that I don’t even like! Third times a charm maybe this was my sign not to return after today... Its truly unfortunate to say but if you are looking for a spa like experience and consultation with your waxing appointment this is most certainly not the place to go!

Prices here are amazing. They are very quick too. No surprise that there is often a line, but they move through it quickly.

Got the mini-facial. Person tried to scald my face with this steaming machine, twice. I told her the steam was too hot on my face. She kept saying it had to be positioned on my nose. It wasn’t. I moved the steam machine myself. Slathered facial products all over my eyes and in my hair. Didn’t give me a mirror because I had facial product in my hair. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The young lady that serviced me got a complete attitude when I was unhappy with the service. Instead of trying to correct the problem she Stumped off say OH MY GOD and went and spoke to her coworker in their language. The manager came over and basically blamed me and told me she liked it. Seeing that I was the paying customer it was more important that I liked the work. FYI the services I had rendered were lashes.I asked for short natural looking lashes. After one eye I told her I wanted short and the lashes were entirely too long. I asked the manager if they had shorter lashes, she said yes. I asked her to please remove the lashes. I then asked the manager if I told the young lady that they were to long and you have shorter, why wouldnt she suggest the other shorter ones. Her answer to me was I did call the lashes by their proper name.... The charges were never reversed on my credit card and I left an unsatisfied customer and no lashes.

I have had my eyebrows threaded for years. I gave this place a try out of convenience. They are too rough here. Threading is painful but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Also my eyebrows were too thin when she was done. AVOID!!

Wow!! I was a little skeptical about going here for a facial, because it wasnt an upscale day spa, but I received upscale day spa service and treatment! Im so happy that I went. Jess did my facial and it was fantastic!! She was very pleasant, professional and she took her time. I didnt feel rushed at all. She kindly answered all of my questions. What a great experience! An hour facial including extractions for $45. All I can say is WOW! Great job! I will definitely be going back.

The wait can be a little tedious sometimes but they keep the flow moving. I usually get my eyebrows and lashes done and I havent been disappointed at all.

Very quick, in and out consistently. I wish I knew each staff by name to request who threads me. Some hurt me, others not at all. I didnt love my finished look the last visit. I couldnt even tell she did much of anything. Most times I love the result.

Ive been coming here regularly for 7 months now. No one but Dee is allowed to do my eyebrows now since I started coming here! Its hard for me to find a good eyebrow artist, but she is just awesome! Great facial as well, my skin had never been so clear before!

I they had good reviews so I decided to try them out. They were good the first time I went. I liked their work and the vibe. I went a second time, it was a different girl but I figured it would be okay. She rushed and missed hairs, she said they were ingrowns. I could feel the hairs, but it wasnt bright inside so I paid and went to my car to examine my face. I saw hairs. I went back in and explained I saw more hair and told them where it was. The girl who originally threaded me told someone else to help me and the girl was going over my face very lightly and did not go near the places I told her. Its like she was intentionally ignoring me. I heard the one that originally threaded me say is there anything there? The girl that was working on me shook her head no. At that point I immediately pointed out the places hair was and asked her did she not see it. She then started paying attention to me. I then pointed out a hair on my upper lip, she said it was the cheek. She could have said do you want me to add cheeks to your order, but she didnt because she wanted to make it seem like I was being unreasonable. Understanding they decided they werent going to do right I decided to go elsewhere nexttime, easy. They werent busy she didnt need to rush. Threading is not a rush job and when you methodically remove the hair in the rows a customer doesnt have to come back to get redone, that only happens when you try to take a short cut and skip around the customers face. If your going to try to take the easy way the least you can do is be gracious when the customer politely tells you They found hairs you missed. I get my upper lip, chin and eyebrows done pretty regularly. I know what good threading is. They were just unnecessarily out of order and have lost a good customer, who shells out 25-40 dollars regularly. Blessings and have a good day!

I went in for a face waxing and that afternoon my face got all bumped up and the young lady was so close to my eye that it turned red and bumpy for a month now and has not went away yet. I will not go back there and other people should not patronize them.

I tried Dee for the first time today and I am exceedingly pleased with my brow threading. Im very picky and meticulous about my brows, but she maintained and left them well shaped and groomed! I was paying much more in Royal Oak and wasnt even all that pleased with results.

Extremely unprofessional!!! I make my appointment for Brazilian waxing and this has been the 2nd time i had to cancel or come back because the young lady is never available!!! But she continues to okay the appointment time!! You all need to find a better scheduling system, or hire someone else to take the appointments!!! I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years, and I am disgusted at the fact that they still took my hard earned money for a service after leaving SCABS/SCARRING on my face from threading. There are times where they’ve let me down before but I stayed a loyal customer. This was the last straw though. You should never laugh at your customers and if you DAMAGE their skin, you shouldn’t have them pay. Now I have to heal my skin. And FYI my skin isn’t sensitive, the girl has done my face before and it wasn’t bad. They can be very heavy handed and rude! Go somewhere where they will respect you!! 0 stars, never going back, neither will my family be.

I only rate 1 star because it wouldnt let me write a review with out it. I decided to try this place out for a facial. By all mean DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT GET A FACIAL FROM THIS PLACE. Now I have had serval facials in my days. The facial I received from this place was beyond my worst nightmare. COLD ROOM, NO SHEETS TO COVER YOUR BODY, FORGET ABOUT RELAXING MUSIC WITH DIM LIGTHING. The killing part associates, walking in and out of the room during the facial and talk over the wall to each other.Very unprofessional!!!! They fill a bowl with cold faucet water and never when to get fresh water after rinsing different products off. Oh God those hard sponges. They couldnt even get the streamer to work properly. Steamer straight up your nostrils along with them push whatever products used on your face up your nose making it hard to breath. The extractions LORD it was so torturous... I had to have the association stop. She tried to explain to me it will hurt, but I had to insure her that Ive had several facials and yesss it maybe a little discomfort, but this was out right painful. It felt as if she was pinching my skin right off my face. After paying $55.00 dollar for what was supposed to a organic facials, the products used clearly was not organic by any means the burning and stinging was a big tell. I have never had a facial that left scaring afterwards.

I dont have the thickest eyebrows but have found some talented ppl in los Angeles who can do wonders so its been hard finding someone here in Royal oak. Ive already had my eyebrows done too thin elsewhere in Detroit and I was pretty upset and it took forever to grow out So its been scary to say the least to try again. This was my first time here and I Wasnt too excited after my threading since my eyebrows were uneven with one shorter with simi and I didnt feel like it was anything spectacular in terms of shape but it def was not thinned out too chola style so that was good. I told Dee I wasnt too happy with the results and She took the time to fix and improve the initial work and listen to my concerns. I do appreciate this since Ive had ppl tell me its my fault my eyebrows come out that way at the first location which is not true so Id def come again. Price wise a little more expensive than Id like 9 for brows 6 for lips but she listened and thats more than I can say for others so Id try again. Thanks for listening Dee!

The henna that was used wasnt natural. She didnt do a good job of the design that I wanted. The way the henna fades is disgusting. Natural henna doesnt leave a hardened residue is totally gross.
