Very nice people at the salon and it was clean. My husband and I got our hair cut by Ron. He is a very nice man and quite personable. However, he was 20 minutes late to the appointment. We both showed him photos of what we wanted the cut to look like and discussed it prior to beginning. Neither of our haircuts were what we requested. My husband’s hair was left patchy and uneven, as well as cut way too short. My hair was cut too short, has layers in the front around my face which isn’t what I wanted, and I have a single small patch of stringy bangs where I wanted a curtain style bang. Now we both have to spend more money and go pay someone else to fix it elsewhere and then wait on the style to grow out so we can get what we originally wanted.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE THICK OR CURLY HAIR. The staff was ok and nice but as soon as they saw my hair the whole mood changed. I just wanted my hair flat ironed and shampooed. On the phone I was told $35 and I ended up paying $60. They didn’t know anything about thick curly hair.

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. I arrived 15 minutes early. I waited for 45 minutes past my appointment time and finally walked out. This place may look nice but dont judge a book by its cover! Very unprofessional.

Years ago with matraya is gave them 5 stars now only one star. I wont be going back.

I was sad that Cynthia left but I got Libby and I loved her. She did such a great job on my hair and she was the nicest. I’ll definitely be requesting her for all of my next hair appointments.

Reasonable price for a waxing and close to where I work but the prices of everything else is outlandish $60+ for a pedicure and other services. The lady who waxed me was very rude how far along are you? Excuse me but Im not expecting Next time you get thick eyebrows you come here we will see about that

Great all around! The stylists know their stuff, and were more than willing to answer any questions I had, as well as suggest products that would help.

Short Version: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT NOW, DONT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. You can thank me later.Long Version: I didnt really know what I wanted to do with my hair but I knew I wanted it to be different. I called at 4 pm and was able to snatch a spot at 5:30. I was helped by Maitraya. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me finalize my thoughts on what exactly I wanted to do., I got a few highlights, which didnt take more than 40 minutes to put in, a quick shampoo and rinse, and I was on my way to steal someones woman. And here is the kicker; the price was so good I felt comfortable nearly doubling it and still tipping on top of that. All in all, a very wonderful experience.

I have been going to Hair Crafters for several years and dont plan to go anywhere else. Their attention to detail and service, from the front desk personnel to the pedicure/manicure staff to the wonderful Cheryl who does my hair, is outstanding. They sincerely care about me. I have totally confidence in Cheryl...she is an excellent communicator and listener and her skills are the best.

Maitraya was great! She was extremely friendly, listened to my concerns and delivered exactly the cut I was looking for. As a whole, loved the atmosphere of the place and felt well taken care of.

Took my 7 yr old son here for a haircut. The hair stylist was very nice with him, maintaining his chatty conversation and being patient with him with gentle reminders to sit still. I love this place!

I think the salon is exceptionally clean and professional every time I go! My hair dresser has welcomed some of my friends by giving them a free cut and color on them the first time they try it! I am amazed. They also do up-dos, waxing and nails! A great atmosphere and place to go!

My husband has been going to Hair Crafters for years for regular hair cuts. Last week, I scheduled a wellness pedicure with Cynthia and she was fabulous. She addressed all my questions, informed me about all of the products she was using, not to mention that she made my feet look and feel so much better. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is wonderful! They have different levels of hair stylists based on how experienced they are and how well they do their job. Theyre priced on what level they are with 10 being the highest. My hair was in bad condition so I chose to go with a level 10. To get my hair full highlights, a cut, a beautiful style, a shampoo, a head massage, a deep conditioning treatment and toner was $190. That really isnt bad if you know anything about how much it cost to have your hair well taken care of and a stylist that knows how much your hair can take in order to still be healthy. Well worth the price. I would highly recommend Haircrafters. They also have a girl that does special occasion hair and is phenomenal at it. She made my hair look like an actual rose with petals. Simply elegant and beautiful. You wont regret Haircrafters they have a girlfriend everything. Even if you bring your kids, the front counter lady is wonderful with children and will look after them while your hair is getting cut. It isnt in her job description she just does it out of love. I didnt get my hair done here, but my brother did, and he loved it. Every time he comes back he has Gavin do his hair and my brother loves it. I do sit and wait though, theres great music, the employees are wonderful. Definitely recommend this place.

Cynthia was wonderful. She figured me out right away, and gave me a beautiful haircut. She took extra time to make sure the ingredients in my blow-out would not bother my sensitivities. She was professional and personable; the best combination!

I normally only get my hair cut once a year. Went in not know what I wanted figured Id just get it trimmed as usual.. Cynthia was my stylist and had AWESOME ideas. I ended up getting almost 13 inches cut off, to donate, and I absolutely love it. I havent had hair above my shoulders in more than 25-30 years. She truly is a great stylist. Going to new places is really difficult for me but as soon as I walked in I felt relaxed and welcomed. Cynthia also gave me my dream bangs and I’m just so obsessed and really happy with my experience.

The absolute best place to get a haircut! I personally have had both Maitraya and Gavin cut my hair and they are both phenomenal. Im sure everyone is great here though. Ive never seen a bad haircut leave this place. Great haircuts, great atmosphere, they offer you water or coffee or whatever you want while you get a haircut. My sister passed away suddenly and I needed to be ready for the funeral and the place I have been going to for 10 years said they didnt have time for me so u called this place and told them.the situation and they were more than accommodating. I was in a tight schedule and they got me in and out with the quickness and did a better job than the other place I went to for 10 years. Hair crafters now has my loyal business for life!!!

I have known Ron for 44 years. He and his staff have always treated me professionally and graciously. I dont have much hair to work with, but I have been treated well. Highly recommend the establishment, no matter what type of hair you have or what you want to do with it from style to color.

I have been in between stylists for about 10 years now, so I decided that I would treat myself to a new look. As anyone knows, it is very hard to find a stylist that you can click with. There arent many hair stylists that I would trust with unique colors, like blue, teal, etc., but when I walked in and met Libby for my consultation, I knew she was the one to trust! She did such a wonderful job! She was friendly and talkative, and I know that I was there for an extended period of time, but it didnt feel like I was there as long as I was. I have been getting TONS of compliments on my hair, and I definitely will be scheduling my next appointment with her!!

New to the South Bend area and found a great salon on the first try. I had previously had a bad cut and color at a different salon 4 months back where I had lived before. I let my hair grow out before I decided to do anything else with it and booked my first appointment with Carys for this morning. Another stylist who didnt know what she was doing put internal layers in my ultra fine hair. She had dyed my hair too dark and then attempted to correct it. 4 months of strange fading and split ends ended when Carys made me platinum blonde and even cut without destroying my hair in one appointment! She was friendly to talk to and provided great knowledge on hair care products. Typically, I dont buy products from salons, but I walked out of the door with a great co-wash, hair spray, and heat protector. My hair is exactly how I imagined it in my mind when I came in for my appointment. Carys is truly talented. I booked my next appointment 6 weeks out for upkeep!

Great place, got a cut and a new color. It was kind of expensive but the experience was wholesome & to me thats worth the money.
