Dr. Sloan Shah and staff have exceeded expectations. I KNEW she was good, but everyone here is just wonderful. We came to Dr. Shah after experiencing infertility and she took great care of us. Shes knowledgeable and efficient and she and her staff move quickly with a plan and keep you informed. Dr. Shah and nursing staff are truly walking us through every step of this process in such a caring way.

TLDR: This place sent my account to collections without ever calling me or emailing me about missing a bill payment. Avoid it like the plague.longer story: They didnt have me pay my bill at the office because they thought it was going to be paid by my insurance. I leave and hear nothing about it again so I assume the bill has been paid. Two months pass and Im receiving a collection notice in the mail and my credit has been knocked down a good 40 points. Later, I find a single letter of them mentioning I needed to pay this bill. I have many issues with this:1. I went in for a follow up visit. Why did you not ask me to pay the bill then2. Who sends an account to collections after two months3. WHY would I not receive a single phone call or email??? Who on Earth only sends notifications in the mail today4. They had the nerve to write on that bill letter we have made every effort to contact you. Ha, if every effort includes never ringing my phone or typing an email .. sure. The most pitiful effort Ive ever seen.

Update: Updated my review to 2 stars because this morning they reached out to us and offered to book screenings for us. We appreciate their effort but we will not be going there again.The doctors and nurses are great but I’m giving them 1 star because of their horrible administration people. We made an appointment online after reading the good reviews. During our first visit, the woman managing appointments (named debbie?) suddenly bolted into the room halfway and insisted that our appointment was a mistake, that we cannot have appointments with them until after 12 weeks and told us to leave and come back after 12 weeks to become their patient. We told her that I had several health issues (years of meds that would seriously harm pregnancy, working in potentially radioactive environment etc) that could be potentially dangerous and we were concerned what we should do in case of emergency, and we needed advices. She just said that’s not the issue. The issue is whether you want to make an appointment with us a month later or not. Also, when the nurse told her it might be early but we would talk about it after the procedure was done, she even started fighting with the nurse just to insist that our appointment was wrong and we should not have it. We were totally thrown off that their non-medical staff could just arbitrarily tell you to not see the doctor because she thinks you don’t need the appointment, without taking any personal medical issues into consideration. We decided we did not want to deal with her, so we went home and immediately got another appointment with OBGYN Northern Indiana. They were a thousand time more helpful and professional. Looking back on it, after reading other reviews with regards to their clerical issues, I’m even more convinced that their administration was seriously flawed.

As a health care worker, I am baffled by this place. My wife has been here a few times and after her last visit we are switching doctors. Her doctor prescribed her a medication over a year ago. At her last appoint this week, the doctor said that she needed to get off the medication immediately because it was dangerous given her medical history. Almost 11 months on this medication and she could have died due to blood clotting and we just find out NOW? To make matters worse, the doctor said she would put in for a new medication immediately. We went to the pharmacy immediately after just to find out she sent in the WRONG medication AGAIN. To make it even worse, this place was closed for 4 days so my wife had to take it again because we couldnt get in contact with anyone. Finally, today we got a hold of someone to change the medication. Fingers crossed it will be right this time.I see all these positive reviews so I dont know if my wifes doctor doesnt care because my wife is young and in good health, but I wouldnt put the life of anyone I love at risk by sending them to this place.

First of all, Dr Mackenzie is the absolute best doctor on the face of this Earth! I just had a hysterectomy a couple of weeks ago, and could not have had a better experience with that. Dr McKenzie is so amazing and understanding and answers all your questions, on top of being caring, considerate, in just simply taking the time that all of us patients want. Shes confident, caring, considerate, and according to me, Id never see another doctor! I wish that she was a family practice doctor so I could see her for everything because I most certainly would she is truly amazing! Im extremely thankful to have been a patient of hers. Its amazing how someone can talk to you and just have you not be so scared of what you have to do. as a matter of fact I was so calm before surgery that when they took my blood pressure and it was high the nurse looked at me and said I would have never thought that. I was so excited because she is such a good doctor and made me confident of my own surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Makenzie! Ive seen a lot of doctors over the years paying cash with no insurance and you are honestly one of the only doctors in my 48 years of life that actually didnt make me feel like I was rushed you made me confident in the surgery that you were going to give me and Im so excited to be at the end of my recovery so I can feel good again! Youre amazing youre amazing youre amazing! Thank you with every fiber I have in me!

Everyone is very kind and respectful at this office. I went through a lot of heartache with my last pregnancy and they were nothing but compassionate and caring during this time. They truly care about their patients. The doctors listen and answer all of my questions at every appointment. You all are greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything that you do!

Dr Clark is a great Doctor. Genuinely caring, listens well and easy to talk to. Always does what’s best for the patient. Very knowledgeable and displays that with confidence and positive attitude. I was previously a patient of Dr. Blick after she left I saw another provider who I was definitely was not impressed by in the office. I am grateful however that I stayed with the group and have seen Dr. Austgen. She is a wonderful provider, very empathetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. As an experienced FNP these are the traits I look for when referring to specialists. If you were closer I would refer all my patients to you for their reproductive care. This is hands down the absolute best OBGYN I have ever been to. After months of worrying about an ovarian cyst and visiting several different Obstetrics & Gynecology practices in the middle of an interstate move, I was so grateful to Dr. Austgen (and ultrasound technician, Macy!) who took just one visit to identify, diagnose, and draft a treatment plan. Dr. Austgen took the time to listen to my full patient history, honoring that I was, in fact, the only expert of my own experience and body, and asked thoughtful questions that led to a quick, accurate diagnosis. She presented all treatment options and was responsive to my preferences; unlike other OBGYNs, she did not rush a decision or push a particular treatment plan. The front office staff and other healthcare professionals in the practice are spectacular, managing logistics for several patients at once, but never failing to prioritize and deeply care for each one. (For example, as a woman of color, Ive had my name butchered multiple times in healthcare settings, but each practitioner at the clinic made sure to ask about pronunciation and ask to be corrected, if needed). I felt heard, seen, and valued. 10/10 would recommend this practice to anyone in the South Bend area!

Very confused as to the positive reviews. Perhaps these people were luckier than us. Long story short: the service we received wasnt half bad, but what warranted this one-star review was their obscenely shady business and billing practices. After the birth of our beautiful baby girl, we eventually received an incredibly large bill that our insurance verified to be incorrect, and their billing/parent company (allied physicians) decided used to drag their feet about correcting it for over TWO YEARS. They sent the bill to collections, despite the insurance company repeatedly calling them and telling them that the bill was erroneous. We are now forced to take legal action against these people because they refused to correct a clerical error. Please go somewhere - anywhere - else.

It was my first time there so of course I was a little nervous. However the front desk was kind & walked me through everything in a respectful manor. When I met Dr.Basham she was amazing. I have never felt so comfortable, especially meeting a doctor for the first time. She took her time to explain everything during my appointment & showed genuine care for me, she is relatable which is something that I knew off the bad just from conversation & felt thankful about. I would highly recommend Michigana Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Cox is fantastic. She is friendly, empathetic, and very down to earth. I had the pleasure of having her deliver both of my children and I was so thankful for her calming presence in the labor room. I would recommend her, as well as the other doctors in this group to anyone. They are a fantastic team and I’ve always had the best experience.

Dr. Jessica Basham recently performed my hysterectomy. She was on top of her game from day one. I felt so comfortable with her. She explained everything to me in terms I could understand and was always available for questions. The day of my surgery she took her time making sure she and I were on the same page with the procedure. She didn’t sugar-coat anything but she let me know she would do all she could to make the procedure as less invasive as possible. It’s day 3 post surgery and I feel amazing. I’m 100% confident I chose the best doctor to help me through this scary event. I would recommend Dr. Basham to anyone.

The entire team at Michigan OBGYN answered all my questions and concerns, they were personable and at my first appointment they managed to get everything they needed (blood tests, ultrasound, etc) so I wouldn’t have to come back for a different appointment. Highly recommend this Office ❤️

I was going for an colposcopy..due to heavy menstruation/now menopause..the procedure was somewhat painless..nothing to totally overact,.however Dr. Rashad was very thoughtful, considerate and understanding. He was Awesome..he definitely worth looking at too🤪he’s so cute..his nurse was helpful as well. Overall they were both great!!!!!!

They have a terrible communication problem with there patients. Often they will change policies without letting there patients know. When ask to speak with the manager will say that they see 100 patients a day. They need to get more organized with they way they handle information and operations towards there patients. I actually wouldnt give 1 star to this establishment. I highly suggest to ask questions and research for the clinic policies before you chose this clinic and doctors as your medical provider. The front desk staff needs a serious intense training in customer care and service.

I was struggling between VBAC and repeat c-section my entire pregnancy. The doctors I worked with were incredibly understanding and a big thanks to Dr. Clark for helping make my dream of having a VBAC come true!

Michiana obstetrics is amazing! Moved back to town 3 yrs ago and have been very happy with this office! Dr. Basham is awesome! She listens to me and takes my concerns seriously and doesnt make you feel bad about any type of question! Highly recommend!

I go to Michigan Obstetrics for all my gynecological needs and Ive never been dissatisfied. I like that you could choose whether you want a female or male doctor. When my original doctor retired. I was hesitant about seeing someone else, but I must say that Dr. Thalia P. was a great replacement. She is very thorough with her examinations, knowledgeable , and caring. I would recommend this clinic to anyone whos looking for a great doctor.

I have had three pregnancies and delivered two (currently pregnant with the third) with this group. I love the fact that you get to know all of the OBs before you birth so you don’t have to worry about who’s on call or not. Each one of them are great in their own ways! They always make my husband and I feel comfortable.My last visit, the doctor and ultrasound technician let my children see the baby to get them excited about our growing family, and the thought alone was extremely appreciated! All staff there are so helpful and kind.Update: Dr. Raj Shaw delivered my 3rd baby without a flaw! He was the perfect coach I needed in one of the most important times of my life. He was straight to the point and realistic and made the experience all I wanted it to be and more.

Highly recommend Dr. Czarnecki. He’ll always take his time to talk with you and explain everything. He’s great about answering any questions and concerns you have. Office girls are super polite. Super happy with this place

Dr. Raj Shah is top notch! He listens to your concerns, explains everything and answers all questions you may have. Not concerned with time. Seems genuinely concerned about you. I credit him with making sure my issues didnt become life threatening. He listened to me and took preventative measures.

Wonderful and compassionate doctors and staff, both front office and back. I recently had a difficult pregnancy that unfortunately ended too soon, however my nurse, ultrasound tech and Dr. Thalia were all very compassionate throughout the difficult time. Dr. Thalia had excellent bedside manner. She also answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable in surgery. I would like to thank Dr. Thalia and all of the staff who has helped me.

Dr. Basham is amazing! I can not recommend her highly enough! There is never a doubt in my mind that she has my health and best interest at heart. She is patient and wants her clients to truly understand everything. She is what all doctors should strive to be, someone who radiates caregiving at its finest. She believes in educating not just prescribing or diagnosing but truly sharing her knowledge and education so you as the patient feel you are making the best decision for you and your body!

I feel this is the most well-respected ob/gyn clinic in the area. Providers have specialties to meet ANY need; mine sure did. My family doctor left me to suffer my menopausal symptoms for over a year. Couldnt take it anymore. Found Dr. Sloan Shah....what a blessing!

I was referred here by my PCP to have a polyp removed. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I had a wonderful experience. Quick and friendly check in and check out, and my doctor was great. Dr. Thalia explained things very well, made the procedure quick and painless, and I liked her a lot. Also, my results came back very quickly and the results were good. I highly recommend her and the staff at Michiana Gynecology.

Wonderful experience in office and delivery. although when you deliver you receive care from the doc on call, instead of your choice, I would trust any of the docs in this practice to do an exceedingly great job. Dr. Cox delivered by baby and it went exactly as well as I could have hoped. She was supportive and very involved. Wonderful staff at Memorial as well.

Every doctor and NP I have encountered has been fabulous. Throughout my pregnancy, I met them all and was impressed. I understand wanting to have one primary doctor, but since you don’t know who will be on call when you go into labor, I think it’s nice to have a network of physicians who are available. For regular check-ups and exams, I have been seeing NP Shannon Luczak and she had been wonderful, understanding, compassionate. She is a great addition to the team!

Dr. Raj is always so kind and personable. He makes me feel like I’m the only patient he needs to see that day. He is focused on my well-being and never seems to rush out of the room. I have been using this group of doctors for over 25 years and continue to be impressed with how they have evolved and remain current.

Dr Thalia is a very caring physician. She shows genuine concern for me as a patient. On 1 particular occasion, after an extremely painful procedure, she gave me a hug & said I handled the procedure extremely well. She is 1 of the most patient oriented Dr that I have had. I would highly recommend her to others.

I have been seeing the doctors at Michiana Obstetrics and Gynecology since I was 18, and I have had nothing but good experiences with them! They also did all of my prenatal care through my entire pregnancies and delivered both of my kids! Dr. Blick and Dr. Raj Shah were the doctors who delivered them. I highly recommend them to everyone I know! All of the doctors are wonderful though! All of the nurses are just as good! They always ask about my husband and kids and how we are all doing as a family. I appreciate those details very much!

I have had a great experience with each doctor I have had appointments with, my personal favorite is Dr. Czarnecki! Whenever I call with concerns I get an answer back within reasonable time. I am able to make appointments around my work schedule as well. I will say my job is very flexible with the appointments I need scheduled through my pregnancy, if this was not the case it may be a bit more difficult to get an appointment that is convenient for my work schedule.

Very very good doctor and staff. Got an appointment quickly and staff was very nice. I had some issues that were very embarrassing but the staff and doctor put me at ease and gave me pure respect as well as thoroughly explaining things and answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. Dr. Dayna Cox is wonderful! I have been coming to michiana obstetrics for years and the staff has always been great. Dr.cox and her nurse are understanding and easy to talk to and she makes sure to go over all options and possibilities, and the things outside of her domain she has great references for.

My Family and I are new to South Bend and I was referred to Dr. B through Unity Medical Dr. Tamara Andrews and they said Dr. B will take good care of me and they love her! The surgery I had she explained everything to me and I wasn’t in a lot of pain after. I am truly Thankful!

Ive had a couple bad experiences in this office as a trans person but my therapist recommended Jessica. I was nervous to return to the office but Jess was fantastic! Patient, understanding. She didnt once question me, my gender or any of my concerns and fears. Definitely request her!

After seeing Dr. Basham, I am glad to report that caring doctors still exist. The things that were important to me, were important to her. I feel like I am in good hands. I miss the Macgregors, but things change. I wish them well. They served Michiana, well, for many years.

I loved these doctors! They delivered my 2 sons. Im sadden that I can not have anymore kids through them though due to owing them money and didnt pay it by the due date. But would definitely recommend!

The appointment went well, and I was very informed about the process that is needed to help me. The only reason for 4 stars is that the communication between the doctor and the nurse getting me the materials I needed was lacking. I had to ask the right questions to get what I needed post appointment.

Ive had two babies with this group first was blickensrurfer and second was cox! Now with my third in three weeks cox is helping me bring her into the world! I love love this group you get respect dignity and all positive things!

I’ve never had a doctor actually take the time to really listen to me and my concerns. Dr. Clark not only listened, but really took the time to explore all the options, and do everything that needed to be done, making me feel like my concerns were valid and I wasn’t just wasting his time. I’ve always had this rule of only seeing female OBGYNs, but I needed an appt ASAP, and thought, I’ll just deal with it this time. Glad I did. I’ll stick with Dr. Clark for as long as I’m here and his practice is open.
