In a time of shock and grief, these folks did an A-number 1 job. Kathy, your words and your presence are a gift from God. The staff, itself, were all very professional and offer fantastic service. From verbal instructions to any needs we had, they were there, without hesitation...only a friendly, yes of course we can do that. Thank you so much for making a horrible life experience, a little less stressful.

Julie and her staff were absolutely amazing to work with for the service for my father in law Paul M. Hill this last weekend. Words alone cant describe how we feel about the job that she did. Thank you all at SJFH. You are truly a blessing to all you serve.

No doubt the best funeral home in the Michiana area. The staff is caring and they make it clear that your deceased love one will be honored as if they were one of their own family members. Prices are also reasonable for the service you get.

This funeral home was contracted & prepaid by my mother, Joann Bell for her viewing & funeral. Her viewing was Dec 6 with the funeral the following day. After the viewing I talked with Bill Gill who had handled all the funeral home aspects. Right before I left for the night I discussed with him the disposal of the remaining flowers. He said he could take the ones in the glass containers to a nursing home because the St Joseph Cemetery did not allow glass containers. I agreed. All the larger bouquets and sprays were to go to the cemetery. INSTEAD THE ST JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME DECIDED TO KEEP ALL OF THE FLOWERS FOR DECORATING THEIR BUSINESS! I WAS MADE AWARE OF THIS BECAUSE A FAMILY MEMBER WAS AT THE FUNERAL HOME THE DAY AFTER THE FUNERAL AND FOUND THE SPRAY SENT BY HER BROTHER IN THE RESTROOM! I called Bill Gill for an explanation. He remembered our conversation following the viewing but said we thought it would be better.... At that point I cut him off and expressed my disgust that they would do such a thing. Up until today my family thought the St Joe Funeral Home had performed admirably now I WOULDNT TRUST OR RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.
