Small town style Barber shop with one chair. Lucy is great. Worth the wait but you likely wont have to!

Lucys quaint little shop is the coolest barber shop around. She always is warm and welcoming and makes ya feel like home. Stellar barber as well. I always leave happy.

Lucy is the greatest. She treats everyone like family and takes the jitters out of being new to a barber and worrying what they will do to your hair. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I’ll be going here as long as I’m in the area.

I am a michigander and was heading to south bend on business. My last hair cut was done by a family member due to the Michigan Governors lockdown. So I jumped at the opportunity to have it done professionally. I called 5 places but the nice lady at the clipper shoppe was the only one that could get me in this morning. She gave me a time and when I got there she was just finishing up the gentleman that was ahead of me. The three of us had a pleasant conversation about the current situation while she finished him up. If she was closer to work or home I would make her my go to barber.

Ive been going to the Clipper Shoppe since I was in 8th grade (Im 20 now) and I dont plan on going anywhere else. As a kid I hated going to the barber, and would always end up going to a different one with each new cut. This is because they would more often than not give dissatisfactory cuts, and I distinctly remember a handful of them pulling on my hair to the point of where it would hurt. The woman that works here though is gentle and can pretty much do whatever type of haircut you want. The aesthetic of the place is very unique and comforting, and shes recently been adding more things to enhance to the experience, like a device that massages your upper back and shoulders after your haircut. Its little things like this that really go a long way and I appreciate. Ive never disliked a haircut from here and dont think I ever will. Id reccomend this place to anyone, and actually already have been for years!

What an amazing job. My 13 year old hadnt had a trim or cut in over 6 months. He absolutely hates getting a haircut but LOVED this hidden gem and walked out looking like a million bucks. Quick and clean cut by the super friendly owner who made his cut personal and uniquely his. Support small business and try out this ladys full service barber shop. One chair and walk-ins only but a cozy place to hang out if you need to. She also just started taking debt or credit cards so even if you dont have cash on hand you can still run in to get a great cut. We will be back and it definitely wont take 6 months to convince my son to get a trim at our new favorite place.Sincerely, One happy mama!

Im a retired Marine, so I get a hair cut every two weeks. This place is awesome, does a great job every time, regulation haircut or whatever you want, she does it all. I highly recommend giving her a chance, you wont be disappointed
