Unprofessional and rude. My husband went here 3 times and was promised someone would call him to set up help for him, yet we’ve heard nothing. This is still going on, and we have not received assistance from them. Their “management” sounds like a young teenage girl who was completely disinterested and had no idea what she was doing. she then interrupted me, and when i told her to stop she threatened to hang up on me. I wouldn’t trust this place to help anyone, they have no idea what they are doing and their employees are simply there for a paycheck 👍🏻

Rude- especially those people at the front desk. Certainly don’t apply the AA principles. Unkind!

Don’t go to this clinic. They put you on methadone and don’t care how long your on it. They are no help at all and it’s very frustrating!

Saved my life! Been clean over 3 years and run 2 groups at the clinic. I used to have a horrible perception of methadone, said Id never touch it.. Then I spoke with the doctors and really learned about how it works and the tapering process. This is the only clinic in the area that makes you do counseling once a week and attend groups. Its not a juice bar!! One of the best decisions Ive ever made!!!!!

Despite the idea that methadone clinics want to get you hooked on methadone indefinitely(which may or may not have truth to it), Aegis in Simi Valley has legitimately caring staff and counselors who really take a personal interest in your life and your sobriety from street drugs. The front office staff are sweet and friendly, and the LVN administering your daily dose is great! The counselors are also insightful and really listen to you when youre talking to them. Even the clinic manager, who despite coming off as detached and aloof, makes herself available to everyone who needs to speak with her. Overall this place really is great, and they change lives everyday, mine included. I would definitely recommend anyone struggling with addiction to check this place out, it can and will save your life if you immerse yourself fully in the program.

The primary doctor at this location meets with all new patients (unfortunately) but you can request anyone else once you are registered but that doesn’t excuse the insults and ridicule that he hands down to you as if this type of psychology ever worked for recovery. Similar to a family member who physically abuses another member with the hopes that some good comes from it. Comments like, “how does your spouse stay with an addict, she should be smarter than that”. This is no exaggeration either. You can talk to anyone there during the meetings and everyone has some horror story with this guy. You’ll know him, he has an accent and a glass is half empty type attitude.What’s most unfortunate is anyone coming to a rehab facility for the first time is not in the highest of confidence/mood and to be kicked while down is, besides cowardly, doesn’t give off the basic confidence you’d hope to receive while you’re asking for help.Most everyone else here does have your best interest at heart, please understand. He does not speak for anyone else here. It’s just too bad they can’t purged this cancer of a human being so the rest of the faculty can do their jobs.

Started just over a month ago, I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner! I wouldnt have thrown away so much precious time, energy, trust, money and dearest friendships. Thank you Aegis!

I started at this place in October of 2018. And it’s the last thing I tried but it saved my life! The staff here really cares about their patients. I’d recommend it to anyone with a heroin problem. 100%

Okay, I’m changing my review from 3 stars to one, Jesus CHRIST!!! I just learned my FOURTH counselor in less than 6 months is leaving for a better job, & it’s driving me NUTS!! Aegis pays staff so poorly compared to the industry standard they clearly can’t get most to stay.The reason this is so very irritating to me is the simple fact EVERY damn time I change counselors (whom u are forced to see for an hour EVERY week, NO exceptions!) I have to explain to them my background & relive my entire path of addiction again & again & again, & it triggers long ago buried urges & purposefully forgotten memories of using & withdrawal, plus it truly sux constantly building working relationships that keep getting torn up. This blowz....

I been going here a while now and i have never had a complaint the staff is always understanding to any situation i feel the staff nd counslers really seem dedicated to getting all the patients on the right path n give us all the tools for life after the clinicnever have i had a negative comment for the simi valley aegis treatment center and id reccomnd thos place to everyone battiling opioid addiction.

A wonderful place to be. Great people at the Simi Valley location .Everyone that I have worked with from my counselor to the supervisors, managers and the professionals who work the front desk are so very nice and understand what addiction can do to a persons life and those around us.When I made the decision to get sober I researched many places from Passages to basic clinics. None of them were worth or had the right plan to save me except for the experts at Aegis. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with at Aegis has had a part in saving my life. I would mention names on those that really stood out in my sobriety, however, confidentiality is a huge part of the way Aegis professionals conduct their business and duties. Which was great for me as there are only 2-3 people outside of Aegis that I consider are ok to know about my plans of a life that serves my mind, body and soul. If it were not for Aegis and the great individuals there I would be in the hospital dying from some sort of liver disease. I waited so long to get myself on the wagon that my liver was starting to show signs of early stage liver disease. Aegis helped me turn that around. I do have fatty liver disease which was diagnosed way before my decision to stop looking for more pills and just take that small leap into a sober living state .My mind is still a mess however my Aegis Counselor and everyone else are my largest group of advocates into ensuring I am receiving what I need to move me to the next stages in a sober life. I know I have repeated myself on this review in several instances. I truly cannot say enough good things about them without sounding fake. I have a straight shooter type of attitude. I have only experienced those at the Simi Valley Aegis location.Please if you are sick and tired of looking for your drug of choice and the side effects that come with not having it. If you are worried at all of overdosing and lying dead on the floor for someone you love to find you please SEEK THE HELP OF AN AEGIS OFFICE NEAR YOU. Also if you feel you may have overdosed and a friend is with you first go to your local ER or call 911.When your life is saved get to you local Aegis office right away. They also offer free Arkan kits free. The local pharmacy charges in the range of $150 per kit. So keep that in mind as well .Regardless of what stage you are in .Just tell yourself you need help and as you would go to your local dealer make the RIGHT turn to Aegis for help. Im telling you it works at any age. Its a very tough decision I know but once you ready get your life over to Aegis.Now that I have taken you through my boring story. If you are an addict who wants to be saved. Call Aegis and start getting better, happier and build back relationships lost during the running along side the wagon. Get on the wagon and rest to work on yourself. Your important self and those important people around you.Peace brah & Sis

This place quite literally might have saved my life! If you feel like you’re at the end of the rope with your addiction there are a lot of caring, understanding, and helpful people here to help.

The manager is a b*$! H. They dont know what they are doing here. Just want to get you hooked on methadone. Stay away. Go to a different clinic like in the valley. Leah is heartless.

All the staff and counselors are friendly , my counselor Myra is The Best , I have no complaints

I CANNOT express the grief, the insanity, the... segregation that takes part at this treatment center. The doctor literally has a God complex. What he says, goes. Whether hes talking about your family life, he owns it. When he talks about ANYTHING outside methadone, and it has to do with treatment. He acts like hes read scolars, books, from one end of the library to the next. But not for a good reason. Because anyone willing to do that, WOULD NOT ! TREAT PATIENTS THIS WAY! YOU cant help us. OUR counselors can, and we can. You are just there to monitor our progress. So MONITOR IT! DONT YOU THINK you have any... significance in anyone thats a patient there. Everyone says the same about you, Dr. RADNIA. Its such a shame. That anyone has to recover when theres a monster like him just wait it ting to throw ANYONE to the wolves

Honestly this Clinic is a great place if you truly want help. Yea it can be looked at like trading one thing for another. But its all monitored in every way.I do think though they should kick someone out after a few dirty tests and not let someone just keep taking the Medicine as well as using.... With that said this clinic did help me get away from a drug that ruins everything in A life quickly, and helped me get on track! My Councilors were a huge part in that as well! I really wish I could still go to counciling with my last Councilor she was great! You get what you put in, in everything in life! My purpose in coming to this clinic was fullfilled and Im thankfull for everyone there that helped in my Process!

This is a methadone clinic, but you wouldnt know it just by its name alone. AEGIS is very professional and organized. My girl Sellena Riske goes here and has made a few friends. I personally detoxed myself off of methadone and switched to suboxone which is way better and much easier to kick compared to methadone. It took me over 3 weeks to detox and function again.

I know someone close to me who going there npwm...n its dumb n stupid clinic....what it basically in my option is ...its a legal way to keep giving heroin addicts in a legas with methadone.....that buldshit n its all for money not to truly cure n help thr patience strugnling with opie addictions.....disgusting clinic cant believe its legal
