Everybody at this practice does an A+++ job. Upon arrival, Claudia and Claire welcome you with a smiley greeting, even with masks on :). Cheryl is friendly and comical; we laughed and she made me feel at ease. The nice hygienist was gentle and very professional. Cheryl took my x-rays and communicated my concerns to Dr. Pollack who is a superb dentist and works really well with his team.Dr. Pollack took care to ask questions about my previous dental care. He was kind, responsive and very reassuring. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Pollack checked that I was doing okay and encouraged me, showing genuine care and giving me a huge sense of security.I DID have a great experience and felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I felt empowered to bring my little one in for his first appointment to a pediatric dentist practice the lovely ladies at the reception recommended. I feel so much gratitude for everyone at Dr. Pollack’s office.If you are on the fence, go! In health matters, sooner -really is-- better than later.

Would never go to another dentist. Been going here for years and they really make you feel like family. His staff are kind and keep you laughing the whole visit. Never have had an issue with any of my fillings- always quick and easy!

I’ve been a patient here for over 10 years, and I’ve had a wonderfully professional and calm experience. The office staff is courteous and on top of insurance quirks and requirements, and the dental hygienists are skilled and very calming (if you’re on who is iffy about dentists). Dr. Pollack is knowledgeable, clear, and consistent with his examinations and remarks. He’s been firm with me about my dental hygiene habits without making me feel guilty or bad, and, as a result, I have developed better routines and been able to manage any issues quickly and without much pain or inconvenience. Most importantly, though, everyone in this office LISTENS and I’ve not felt like they’ve tried to “one size fits all” me. I smile confidently knowing my oral care is in good hands!

Excellent dentist and excellent staff! They always make me and my family feel comfortable and care about our needs. Dr. Pollack takes his time and listens to all of our questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Dr. Pollack is hands down the BEST dentist I have EVER been to!!!!! I called in last minute because my tooth was hurting and he was able to fit me in the next morning. I walked in and everyone at the front desk was super friendly and I didnt have to wait for Dr. Pollack to see me, unlike every other doctor I go to. He was a fun, caring, warm-hearted man who loves his job! He fixed my tooth and I was able to enjoy my day! I will be going back to Dr. Pollack from now on! 10/10

We love our dentist! Dr. Pollack is caring and gentle. I am so happy I found Dr. Pollack after so many bad dental experiences. Dr Pollack explains everything in easy to understands terms-- not dental talk and he never seems rushed. He has a wonderful personality and always seems to be smiling with his own beautiful white teeth.I was always embarrassed by my front teeth and Dr. Pollack did veneers and crowns that are just beautiful. I am so thankful for being recommended to see him. If you are looking for a dentist I give him a 110% recommendation.

ONE WORD---FANTASTIC!!!! Dr Pollack and staff was by far the best dental experience I have ever had! Dr Pollack was gentle and caring and painless!! Dr Pollack explained everything very thoroughly and asked If I had any questions. I was having major discomfort on two teeth which no other dentist had been able to diagnose --not only did he diagnose what was hurting me for three years--- he fixed it and now it feels like never before! I am so grateful to Dr. Pollack and would highly recommend him to anyone. I feel so lucky to have found a dentist i truly trust!His staff is stellar --starting from the front desk where Claire and Claudia held my hand through all the dental insurance confusion and they even submitted all my claims for me-----Incredible.. Cheryl his dental assistant was a warm fuzzy type person and immediately put me at ease---she is wonderful.Margaret the hygienist is superb---- thorough but gentle and she taught me how to floss correctly--something I had been doing incorrectly my whole life.This is a true gem of an office---- you just dont find this level of trust, comfort and caring often.Dr. Pollack is the best dentist I have ever seen-----GO SEE HIM! You will be so glad you did.One very happy patient!

I had two appointments at this office over the last year. While I was satisfied with the care I received from the hygienists, my biggest complaints were 1) despite confirming they were in Humanas network, they werent, 2) upon his request I spent 10-15 minutes helping Dr. Pollack with his computer at the end of my first visit - very unprofessional, and 3) Dr. Pollack didnt show up to my second appointment.One top of this, the practice itself is not very convenient or accessible. Its located in a dark hallway on the second floor of an apartment building (which the patient needs to call to get the entry code for) and they dont communicate by email. Please seek a better and more professional practice than this one.

Scam!!! Beware People, & avoid This Dentist. Knowing I was new in town, he lied to me I had 12 (twelve) cavities that needed fillings: I know of only 2 (two) cavities from my last visit with my previous dentist 2 weeks prior. I also take very good care of my teeth, avoid sugary drinks & dont smoke. Unfortunately, I took the bait and scheduled a second visit to get fillings. During the procedure, I realized he was drilling holes into some teeth that were perfectly healthy on the opposite side, instead of working on the teeth with real cavities that were causing me pain on the other side. When I asked why he was working on those teeth instead of the ones I came in for, he said its his Strategy, and told me I will have to schedule future visits for fillings in the teeth on the other side that were hurting (the ones that truly needed the fillings). Red Flag!!! I should have trusted my instincts and walked right out. A re-examination of my X-rays at the end of the ordeal showed there was nothing wrong with the teeth he operated on. I believe he drilled holes in them intentionally to squeeze more cash out of me. I also saw numerous questionable charges on the bill. I felt cheated and wounded because he caused unnecessary damage to my healthy teeth that could become more problematic down the road. He was dismissive when I asked him to show me the cavities on the x-ray and told me I wont be able to see them anyways. Why on earth will he start off working on invisible cavities instead of the ones that needed immediate care? He must have realized I caught on to his scam because he became even more dismissive and downright cold when I requested a copy. They were reluctant to give me a copy of my X-rays (which they also charge heavily for by the way). Please dont fall for Dr. Pollacks scams!!! Avoid this place to prevent unnecessary suffering, heavy expenses, and long term problems.

Staff is very friendly and competent. Dr. Pollack himself is a straight-shooter and he was happy to answer any questions I had. In-network with many insurances. Overall, As good experience as possible at a Dentist.

I recently moved to the area and was extremely nervous about finding a new dentist, after a google search I discovered Dr. Pollack and made an appointment. Right away during my first phone call with Dr. Pollacks staff, I knew I made the right choice. During this call I spoke with Claudia, who was extremely helpful and walked me through insurance process (with all the patience in the world I might add), and made sure I was able to find an appointment that fit into my schedule. On the day of my visit, I was greeted by Claudia and Claire who could not have been friendlier and more welcoming to me (this really put my mind at ease as the nervousness had crept back in). During my cleaning the hygienist was extremely thorough and gentle, while teaching me the proper way to floss. I then was greeted by Dr. Pollack and Cheryl, his assistant, again I I could not have asked for friendlier people. During my initial meeting with Dr.Pollack he outlined and walked me through the procedure I would be undergoing that day, taking time to answer any and all questions I had, with detail and care. During my procedure (I had a crown put in), Dr. Pollack was extremely gentle and thorough again taking the time to make sure that I was not in any pain and that I was completely comfortable for the duration. Needless to say both Dr. Pollack and his staff, made my first visit to a new dentist easier and will be my primary dentist from now on.

Avoid this dentist, no matter how qualified he may be medically. He is only in business to extract customers money along with their teeth by tacking on needless services above those the customer requests or are medically justified to pad the bill.My experience: I contacted Dr Pollacks office from an overseas university on 6 Nov 2014 to make an appointment for a basic dental cleaning during my short time in DC for an academic conference. I was given a choice of 3 different openings and quoted a fee over $240! In addition to the requested cleaning, I was required to agree to $100+ for x-rays (although I wouldnt see the same dentist again), a dentists inspection, and a fluoride treatment for an additional fee. I told the secretary I would be happy to have just the basic cleaning by a hygienist that I actually needed and I emailed to confirm these original wishes. We set an appointment for 25 Nov at 8:50 am.After sitting on my email (while I assumed the appointment was valid) the office emailed me a week from the conference to inform me the dentist had decided to cancel my appointment with no reason given, just a bland recommendation from Dr Pollack that it was best to see my own dentist. (I had requested only a hygienist.) It is clear this office is purely in business for the dentists yacht, home refurbishments, and golf vacations.

Dr. Pollack is the best ... comprehensive, caring -- and his staff is also amazing, as well. Ive been getting my teeth cleaned and crowns placed by Dr. Pollack for over 25 years.
