Really love Doctor Gupta, very professional and knowledgeable and I would love for my family to continue seeing him but unfortunately the practice he works under denied scheduling a physical appointment for my husband because we owe a balance of $168. I work in the medical field and is disheartened as a medical professional to know that a practice will refuse scheduling a routine visit for a patient just because they have a balance due. I understand payments need to be collected for the practice to continue functioning, however; the practice itself should be more diligent by collecting co payment at the time of the visit, and maybe I didn’t have go through such a bitter experience. Additionally, they should also take in consideration that yearly physicals and fully covered by insurance. And what if this would be a sick visit? It’s just very unethical.I really wish a manager or practice director calls me.
