THIS STORE GETS NO STARS. Pharmacy service is terrible. Wait in line in the store, wait on the phone almost half an hour, wait at the pickup window, and wait wait wait DAYS for your prescription to get filled. THE MUSIC ON THE PHONE IS EAR PIERCING AND HAS BEEN THE SAME MUSIC FOR YEARS. PUT SOME CLASSICAL OR SOFT MUSIC ON PLEASE.

This pharmacy is so bad. I’ve been on hold for over an hour to try and fill a prescription, I don’t understand how this is even acceptable. I receive texts that my prescription is ready, show up and with attitude am told its not ready I’ll have to wait. LITERALLY S O BAD!

The pharmacy at this location is the WORST I’ve experienced. When a doc calls in a prescription, they don’t bother to fill it unless you call to ask about it (even days after the doc called it in). When you call they tell you it’s not ready (because for some reason they ignore doctor’s offices) and only tell you they will start working on it because you called. It is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. To make matters worse, when you call, you are put on hold FOREVER. This is a terribly managed pharmacy. It’s a shame bc CVS is usually good. I will have to go back to the Ansonia location even though I live in Shelton. Awful!!!

If I could leave a negative 10 i would. Every time I call the pharmacy they NEVER pick up. How hard would it be for them to pick up and say Ill be right with you? Now I know why an elderly woman got so angry at their team.

This CVS pharmacy is HORRIBLE. If you call in a prescription, be prepared to wait. For the last 4 scripts Ive called in, the message has said it will be ready later in the day at xx:oo and you will get a call when its ready. It never is. You can NEVER get someone on the phone. In fact the script is not even available 3-4 days later when you finally walk in to get it. Then you have to wait in the store for them to fill it. I am going to switch to another Walgreens. I have no idea how this CVS does business.

Worst CVS EVER!! Prescriptions aren’t ready after 9 hours of being called in. No one answers the phone. And I haven’t been able to get my online script access for months.I tried to switch to Walgreens but they don’t take my insurance.

I have been on hold for hours trying to get to the pharmacy; not to mention when trying to speak to the store manager you are on hold as well. Store is very clean but this is unacceptable. Pharmacy needs to either hire more people or look at the people they hired to be more efficient. No one should ever mess with anyone needing to speak to someone about medicine or the medicine itself.

Been here twice to pick up scrip , they say ready in half hour then after waiting an hour and you asking them what’s going on they say on another 20 min.. and this is the second time it happened , the derby store has twice as many people picking up scrips and their wait time is never more then 10 minutes. Well I be going back to derby

Unless the pharmacy is incredibly busy, they definitely do not want to answer their phones. I called four times with no response. I was very frustrated and tried my fifth call to the physical store front and was able reach a very kind employee that transferred me to the pharmacy. The woman who answered the pharmacy wanted me off the phone as quick as possible. I was making sure my insurance card was applied to my prescription. She told me I could not give that information over the phone and had to come in in-person for them to enter my insurance card.I have never had problems with providing my insurance card over the phone. This was very odd.

This store was great when it first opened, but now you will wait at least 45 minutes on hold whenever you call the pharmacy. Prescriptions are never ready, even when you call ahead to let them know you need to pick them up same-day. Ive had prescriptions stuck as in-progress for more than 3 days straight. The ONLY way to get anything taken care of at this pharmacy is to literally sit in the waiting chairs in front of the pharmacy counter until they finish taking care of your prescription. My wife and I literally plan on it at this point and take turns as to who will sit their waiting after work. Completely unacceptable. Please CVS, either provide more staff or change management at this store.

Worst cvs ever. I would give zero stars if I could. The pharmacy never answers the phone. Ive waited inside for 20 minutes in line and their was 5 calls holding for pharmacy and the pharmacist and tech both just ignored the phone. This is common practice because Ive tried calling multiple times to hold for 20+ min before hanging up. They never have prescriptions in stocks and always need to be ordered. The wait time to get a script filled is days at time. Dont go here, I thought I would switch too but it was a huge mistake. Now I have to change back o my original cvs.

Worst pharmacy ever! They are super slow, rude and always out of stock or have partial supply. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Walgreens is super busy but would 100% use them over the Shelton CVS location.

If I could give zero stars I would. Each time my doctor calls in a prescription, it’s never ready when they say it will be. Even when the hospital called in a prescription to be picked up after the patient was discharged, the pharmacist failed to have it ready, causing the person to sit, uncomfortably in the car for a half hour. Terrible pharmacy.

This is by far the best CVS I have ever been too. Staff is amazing. Store is super clean and organized. Great safe parking. This store is huge and has tons of inventory. They have self check out and tons of candy. I really love this store. CVS in general I find if you use the coupons has much better prices than other stores.

Called this cvs here for a Prescription and my partner was disrespectfully spoken too by an associate named TRACY. She was entirely rude and even insisted we get our prescription somewhere else I’m guessing so she wouldn’t have to do her job because she seemed lazy and uninterested in the position she was hired for. if it’s not urgent DO NOT GO HERE. You will be treated the same way!

I WILL NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY AGAIN. After only 3 months of getting my prescriptions filled here I will never come here again. All because of pharmacy worker named Tracy. Every month I am greeted with a vile attitude, and total disrespect. I tried to have a respectful conversation with her to find the root of the issue but that only made her more aggressive. As I waited for my prescriptions I watched her treat other customers that approached pharmacy in the same fashion. Once I asked her for her name & let it be known that I will be making a complaint against her, her whole attitude changed totally.

I’ve had similar experiences as my fellow reviewers at this new CVS. In the drive through pharmacy line, there’s usually a long wait. When it was my turn the microphone didn’t work so we couldn’t communicate. I told her to open the window that’s there for that purpose & she shook her head “no”. What??! Then on another visit I wanted to buy 1/2 holiday candy but it was ringing up at full price. Clerk said they know about it but can’t do anything without the manager. I asked when they were coming & clerk said “this afternoon”. Two things: how about call them? And if it’s only a manager that can do this easy task, then wouldn’t a manager need to be on duty or on call at all times? Just bad & upsetting that I have very few choices to go to with my business. Pull it together CVS!!

Appears this new location is not adequately staffed. Have waited excessive time on my first visit in drive thru. As I write this review I have been waiting in line with no movement for 30 minutes. Tried calling pharmacy depot to check availability on pneumonia vaccine and you are on hold forever. Gave up two times.Need management intervention.What will happen when virus vaccine comes out

This is the worst CVS I have ever dealt with. Every time I have called I have been on hold for at least 15 minutes before anyone answers . When I finally get through they are extremely rude.
