Another cleaning by Anna, who has been taking care of us for years. She is thorough, personable, and very nice. Dr. Lee did my exam - I liked him and look forward to him being my new dentist. Office staff are also very nice.

I had my teeth cleaned this morning. Nina was excellent dr. Giuliano came in and gave an exam. She was always very upbeat and positive. The whole staff is very personable courteous and professional. It starts at the reception desk and follow through the whole practice. Ive been going there for over 3 years now. I would never think of going to another dentist.

I have been visiting this practice for years and not only are the staff professional and consistently providing excellent care, but they are also so personable. My dentist is Dr Lee. He helped me and my family on multiple occasions. In my life Ive had many dentists And I can honestly say by far the most skilled and gifted dentist Ive ever had is Dr Lee. I generally dont write reviews for my doctors or dentist but I have to send a thank you to Dr. Wiemer, Jen, Anna and Judy on the front desk. I was seen today for a follow up of some work I have needed for about a year (maybe more). Dr. Wiemer is patient he will answer all your questions and make you feel extremely comfortable. Jen his assistant is always extremely pleasant and Anna his Hygienist gives a great cleaning. I have been seeing Dr. Wiemer for about 30 years and when he said he was moving to a new office I have to admit I was a little apprehensive. Dr. Wiemer has always worked with me financially as we have three children that were always needing something done. Judy on the front desk worked with me today to set up arrangements for payment with great patience as my husband is self employed and we dont have dental insurance. If you are looking for an office that shows compassion and patience for their patients this is absolutely the place to go!!!

Awesome! The Shelton location was helpful even before I stepped foot in the office. I ended up being referred to them as the result of a terrible accident that damaged my teeth. I am of the small percentage that has zero tolerance for dental work and needs to be sedated in order to have anything done. I attempted to work with another office after my accident and ended up dissolved into a puddle of tears and panic. Not so with this place! The administrative team was incredibly helpful in making sure I had my paperwork and dental records ready before stepping foot in the (very beautiful!) office.I felt comfortable waiting for the doctor. It was easy to see they have the latest and greatest of dental technology. So cool! Dr. Fusillo was extremely thorough with my exam, patient with all of my questions, forthcoming with all of my options and sensitive to the financial impact of said options. I am incredibly grateful for his kindness and sensitivity.The accident I was in was absolutely awful and I would not wish it on anyone. However, if theres any silver lining, its having found such a wonderful dental office!

This was the 2nd visit for my 92 yr-old Dad and Dr. Weimer and his Dental Hygienist were great! My Dad was so happy with the work done and all the staff were really amazing! Dental Associates Of CT. are the best!!

I am very very disappointed in the treatment of my son, who has special needs, by the Orthodontist, Dr. Erol Gund. We are long time patients of this practice. The Orthodontist just fired my son as a patient due to my sons disability. Dr. Gund stated, I am not able to execute his treatment plan as fast as I expected to be able to. Due to my childs disability. As a member of the medical field it is disheartening that this practice seems to be more concerned about the money and turnover apposed to the holistic approach of treating the patient as a whole. When I tried to speak with Dr. Gund about ways that him and I can work together, such as better communication so that my son will know exactly what to expect at each visit, the Orthodontist replied that he has his limitation and he would refund all money for all of the treatment paid so far but will no longer care for my son. He told me that I need to find another Orthodontist to finish the treatment. He even went as far as to tell me that he will remove my sons braces, if the new Orthodontist requires it. He doesnt understand the effect that this will have on my son and Dr. Gund didnt care when I tried to explain it to him. He just kept repeating that he has his limitations. His limitations are not working with children who are special needs. As a nurse it is unheard of to refuse to care for a patient because you dont want to deal with their unique situation. I would never refuse to treat/care for a patient who has special needs. We problem solve and use our resources. We dont turn our backs on our patients. I am truly disappointed and this practice just lost two long time patients.

Super practice!!!! Everyone is fantastic, from the front desk reps right through to the doctors. Both my wife and I are extremely happy with this practice, especially our Hygienist, Sophia. She is very thorough and knowledgeable, along with being friendly and calming. Excellent, thorough cleaning. Doctors are great and we have recommended friends & family to become patients of this practice.

Dr. G and all of the other dentists, surgeon, and staff are polite and professional. I came to Dr. G. and the practice after a former dentist did improper and poor dental work. Dr. G and staff where very welcoming, understanding, and took great care of my dental needs, and have gone above and beyond in care and treatment. I used to be afraid going to dentist appointments, but I cant say that applies here! Proper time and attention is given to everything from a simple question or routine cleaning, to more intricate procedures. Also the office is high tech top notch! Ive never seen a dentists office with this much high tech equipment at their disposal! Makes me feel more at ease knowing the practice is up to date on everything. I highly recommend Dental Associates of Connecticut to anyone. I wish I had known about the practice years ago!

Poor customer service. I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, and then to receive a nasty attitude from the receptionist. It sounded as if I inconvenienced her by trying to schedule an appointment. She said the next available date would be 6 weeks out and I asked to see any provider. She said that not allowed. I responded I will have to go someplace else and she HUNG up on me. I called back and she said oh I didnt hang up the call dropped.Train your staff on proper customer service skills or youll continue to lose patients. Making a simple appointment shouldnt involve so much frustration.

Sophia, my hygienist continues to exhibit such professionalism. She not only gave me a great cleaning, but at the end of the visit did an unbelievable soft tissue exam of my head and neck even palpating the lymph node chains in the neck. VERY thorough !!

My children have been patients at Dental Associates for a few years and I have been happy. I personally have dental anxiety and have been putting off very necessary dental work because of it. Not only was Dr. Giuliano patient and understanding with my anxiety issues, she has done a wonderful job so far with my repairs and takes the time to alleviate my fears through the process. The entire staff so far in my experience has been wonderful.

I do not write reviews, but I HAVE to tell people about how incredible the staff are at this location. I have had a fear of the dentist and didnt go for a long time. My sister told me about the office so I booked an appointment. The receptionists are always pleasant, personable, and helpful. My dentist, Dr. Giuliano, is the nicest woman I have ever met. She is kindhearted and sweet, but tells me what I need to hear to keep me on path with my dental work (never in a discouraging way, mind you). Never met another dentist like her. The hygienists and assistants are amazing, gentle, thoughtful people. I wont go anywhere else!

I scheduled an appointment to go here 6 months in advance. I was contacted about once a month to fill out paperwork (necessary), confirm my appointment (necessary), confirm my appointment again (ok...), received an email to confirm my appointment (lots of contact now only for a dentist appointment...).After reading all of the reviews I told myself that I needed to put my feelings towards the constant contact aside and go for my appointment because it seems like a great place. Well, they called me 2 days before my appointment to tell me that the doctor will not be in so I would need to schedule a separate appointment for that. Pretty short timing for an appointment that was scheduled 6 months in advance. They advised that the doctor can review my X-Rays during the week and then let me know if I need to come back in, which I was fine with.Then I get a call THE DAY before my appointment, and they asked if I had a doctors note to get X-Rays because Im pregnant. I responded that I filled out the paperwork months ago so they should have told me about needing this way before hand, as I cant obtain a doctors letter that quickly when my appointment is the next day.I thought about the chain of events for the rest of the day and decided to cancel my appointment. I will not be using Dental Associates of Connecticut.

I cant believe I am going to type this, but, I love my dentist!After 12 years of not seeing a dentist, I finally had to go. From my first visit, through several cleanings, 4 wisdom tooth extractions, and multiple cavity fillings, every visit has been great. Each staff member, assistant, technician, and dentist has been kind, caring, gentle, and knows what they are doing.Last night I had an old silver filling removed and the cavity filled. Now I cant even tell that tooth had work done on it! It looks and feels natural. Dr. Giuliano is a great person and an artist.I highly recommend Dental Associates of Connecticut in Shelton.

To me it’s always a little scary going to a new office. This office came highly recommended. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.. Angela was so sweet for my first visit last week at the front desk and the other two ladies i had been greeted by for today’s visit were so nice too. I had a wisdom tooth extracted with Dr Wiemer and i was a little nervous for the novocain. His assistant was so calming and nice and Dr. Wiemer was very gentle and precise with the numbing. Probably my easiest- most painless- experience at a dentist ever. Thank you for the experience.

From the first phone call, asking about an appointment, insurance things, etc., I was impressed with the professionalism and genuine friendlinessof the staff; Missy, in particular. Nikki, who did my x-rays & cleaning, was extremely attentive to my sensitivities, made adjustments, and constantly checked in with ne to make sure i want in any discomfort. Dr. Fusillo came in and met me, listened to me, and made his recommendations based on what I wanted, not what he thought I should want. I really appreciated each of them, and am looking forward to meeting Dr. Thacker (say tacker) next month for the issue Im jabbing with my gums.

I couldnt ask for a better dental office. I started going June 2016 and every experience has been exceptional. Everyone there is truly amazing from check-in to check out my dental hygienist Melissa is awesome. she really takes her time and makes sure youre comfortable. My surgeon was great I had absolutely no pain after having a tooth removed and the tooth was out of my mouth in less than 2 mins. My orthodontist Doctor Mark Angeloni is awesome. He is doing and amazing job correcting My overbite and misalignment with Invisalign. Money well spent, even the financial team is great and quick to correct any errors. Excuse me for a lack of a better word but the entire office is awesome I always enjoy my dental visits and for someone that hasnt been to the dentist in over 10 years that is saying a lot. my smile is near perfection!I havent had one bad experience and I have been there over a dozen times in the past year.

I have been going here for several years. Office staff, Sophia my hygienist and Dr Giuliano are all extremely kind, helpful, and gentle.

I thought about getting Invisalign for over a year, after failing in the retainer department post-braces in middle school. I was hesitant because my previous dentist suggested that I needed wear the retainers (Invisalign) and has these hooks/caps placed on a few front teeth in order for the Invisalign to work, making them well, not invisible. He also suggested that Id need to visit his office every week for check-ups.Dr. Gilman and his team are platinum Invisalign providers (check Invisaligns site to confirm) and assured me that they could work around the need for those hooks/caps so I was sold. His team is nothing short of fantastic. Dr. Gilman is more accommodating and helpful that any other doctor Ive been a patient to. He did not put any pressure on me to start Invisalign during my consultation but simply gave me all the information I could need and what to expect throughout the process. The office works with your schedule (later hours and Saturdays) and your insurance provider and they also have a great payment plan, if needed! Getting Invisalign for 12 months-ish was the best decision Ive made! Im not saying Invisalign is easy. You need to be diligent and stay on top of wearing and maintaining your mouth guards but, Dr. Gilman and his team make the process worry-free! Not to mention Im thrilled with the results and I now go to Dental Associates of CT in Shelton for my regular bi-annual cleanings. If youre thinking about Invisalign or simply need a new dentist in the area, I wouldnt think twice about going to Dental Associates of CT. Thank you again Dr. Gilman!

Great Experience

First visit to office prompted by former dentist joining practice (Richard Putnam).Office fit me in quickly due to trip coming up. Very accommodating and looks like a top shelf operation. As to Dr Putnam…..always great 👍

If you like going to the dentist as much as going to an autopsy you are like me! I had a tooth missing for a couple of years then the tooth next to the missing tooth started hurting so I called Dental Associates of Shelton. I was in pain and luckily Lori their officer manager was able to get me in right away and got me an appointment with Dr Sran. Dr Sran evaluated the problem and discussed the various options available including the needed root canal and optional bridge or implant to replace the missing tooth. I decided to get the root canal done asap and opted for the bridge solution. Lori was able to get me in quickly to have Dr Sran perform the root canal. To my surprise and delight Dr Sran constantly made sure I was not uncomfortable with any of the procedure. I must mention that he even took the extra time to target the numbing agent only to the specific nerves that needed to be numbed so that when he was done my whole face wasnt numb for the rest of the day! The bridge was recently completed and installed and again with no discomfort thanks to Dr Sran! If you have been thinking about going for a check up or if you are having any dental issues I highly recommend that you call Lori and get an appointment with Dr Sran. You will not regret it.
