Went here and it was amazing! super friendly people and loved my hair. would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great styling. Everyone was super nice and the place was spotless. Felt very comfortable going in and getting my haircut even with the pandemic going on.

Went to great clips in Shelton and absolutely loved it! Gina was a terrific stylist and I was treated with respect and the overall experience super enjoyable. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend her to anyone!

Disgustingly dirty. There was hair on everything. Girl did not clean her razor before cutting my hair. And her nose was out of her mask while cutting my hair. She looked very sick too, big bags under her eyes and she was sniffling. Very nervous, have to go get Covid tested now. Will never be back.

Wow.. bad experience. The bigger girl with the long reddish hair is very rude and not proffessional for a work place ! !I heard her conversating with a customer about how drunk she was that weekend and how much she parties. She sounded like she was still drunk by the way she talked all slurred speech and claimed to be the bossLOL good luck running a buisness u alcohollic !The way u treat ur money bringing customers says it allNEVER AGAIN ! PERIDT!

My daughter and I went there today to get back to school haircuts she just wanted a little trim by Jess she did a great job with my daughter it was her first hair cut. I had Tabitha she had the pleasure of dealing with my long tangled mess she did a great job too... We will definitely go back ...they both were friendly and helpful.

Just re-opened today after COVID-19 and already gave me a terrible haircut. Maybe I should have waited another month because these girls obviously forgot how to cut hair on their paid vacation. What a shame, Ive been waiting for 3 months to get a haircut. Time to find a new barbershop. Negative star quality.

I got a haircut Two days ago and let me just say I had to shave my entire head because the stylist I went to just doesn’t know how to cut curly hair and caught an attitude. My girlfriend was so angry with the stylist and was prepared to confront her but I convinced her to let it go. I payed and left but it was so bad I honestly look better with a shaved head. So please train your stylists to be more polite towards customers and become more educated about curly hair. I’m honestly not ever going to come back here again. As I need someone who has my hair type to cut my hair.

I love bringing my son to Great Clips. The online check-in feature is very convenient because it means less time waiting. Val did his haircut the latest time and was very professional and fast. We’ll be sure to come back the next time he needs a trim.

Today was the first time and it will be my last at this location. Valentina was set to cut my sons hair. I told her from the get go he is alittle sensitive to the cutters and starts off upset but after a few minutes he will calm down. I asked if maybe I could hold him instead and she agreed which was great but when my son began to cry and didn’t want to get started right away she called him aggressive, threw up her hands, and said she wouldn’t cut his hair. She didn’t even attempt to make him more comfortable or talk to him at all. Just said he isn’t ready for a hair cut and to come back when he is. He is 3, learn how to deal with children. She had an attitude from the get go, not a people person at all. We went to Hugo’s Barber Shop straight from there and my son was just fine. Got an awesome haircut by Vinny. It is all about how you react and clearly she needs some additional training when it comes to kids, especially those afraid of getting their hair cut.

I have had my haircut twice by Emily. Both times she did a great job and she is super friendly!I never have to wait long. The location and pre check-in is very convenient.

My son usually goes to a barber shop for a $20 hair cut, we decided to try great clips instead because they have convenient hours. They did a wonderful job on my sons back to school cut, did not have a long wait and it cost me half as much. We will be back.

Girl who cut my hair was lovely, very friendly, eager to help when I first walked in. I explained what I wanted, cut so that my hair lays on my shoulders when it is dry, approximately two inches. Unfortunately, she cut the back first so by the time she got to the front/sides I was lucky the length covered the bottom of my ears. I dont understand why this is such a problem. To me though, it wouldnt matter if the cut was $10 or $40, hair stylists do not seem to know what inches mean. Oh well, wont say I wont be back, but I will be more adamant before the first cut. Of course, it will be months before my hair gets to my shoulders. Robin Scermino. Sent an email to Jeanne as requested below, but to no avail. Apparently this is a private owner, so unless he/she responds they cant do anything. My best bet will be NOT to go there again..

I came in off the street and some nice younger woman with short red hair greeted me and almost immediately took me back and gave a a great haircut at a good price. Friendly atmosphere, quick service and a good price, what more can you ask for??!

First visit was a nightmare. People there didnt know how to work the computer and the people were not very friendly. Second visit was better but for a place that only cuts hair... They are alright.

As I write this review I am fuming. I took my 5 year old here 2 months ago and the girl screwed up his hairline, pushing it super far back on his head. Thinking maybe it was a one off situation, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent my husband back with specific instructions for another cut for our son. They screwed up so much worse, giving him almost a complete buzz cut. We asked for a 2 to 3 on the sides and the back and this butcher didnt even change clips the whole time. It looks Horrible and THANK GOODNESS HAIR GROWS BACK. This place must be for beauty school flunkies and dropouts, cuz this place has no standard of excellence. You get what you pay for people.

Typical franchise, walked in saw $5 minimum tip, are you kidding me plus $25 cut charge, sorry would never be dictated to what I must tip. So its really a $30 minimum for a cut from inexperienced barbers apparently just out of school.......sorry, NO WAY!
