Dr. Lilja got me through The Big Ugly, (achilles/bone spur), several years ago with absolute competence and compassion. His calm and easy demeanor made it easier for me to be patient as it was going to be a process that couldnt be rushed. Now here I am again for my other foot, praying to avoid another Big Ugly. Whatever the outcome, I trust Dr. Lilja completely and will try to be patient the process.

So far, my experience with Dr. Erik Lilji has been awesome. I am currently home from the hospital; just under 24hrs & was in the hospital (Seattles Northwest Hospital.) for just a hair over 3 days.(78hrs) post op, before being discharged.Also, cant say enough good things about both my surgeon *Dr.E.Lilji* & my stay/care, at Northwest Hospital, from the nurses, surgical staff,to the meals,PT/OT etc the whole exspierence has been top notch!!Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an Ankle/Foot surgeon.Will update my review, after 1st, 2nd & 3rd post op appointments.

Dr. Lilja is a very compassionate and extremely competent doctor.

This surgeon is a hack. My foot is so much worse now than it was before I went to him. And now have MAJOR nerve damage .Please stay away from this guy. You will be sorry!
