I can say enough good about Dr. Roh. The back surgery he performed on me has changed my life. After suffering from back pain and pain radiating down my legs for years I am now virtually pain free. Dr. Roh used cutting edge technology, technique and minimally invasive procedure to restore my spine to a much better condition. I felt secure trusting my spine to him because he is intelligent, knowledgeable, caring and gentle in his approach, not pushy. I appreciated that he listened to my concerns. informed me fully and answered my questions. The minimally invasive technique allowed for faster recovery since fewer tissues were cut or disturbed. His staff is incredibly organized and supportive. I got prompt responses to my questions and needs post surgery. They all went above and beyond the call of duty which I really appreciated. I am 73-year-old female and had painful and quickly progressing scoliosis. It took me almost 4 years to discover Dr Roh, who provides minimally invasive surgery for scoliosis. I had seen seven other surgeons and physiatrists and they were saying I was not yet severe enough to have surgery. It felt severe. They did not refer or even discuss minimally invasive treatment. I was always in pain and taking too much Tylenol and Aleve and a variety of other meds. I am now 3 months after my surgery. I am not having back pain anymore0 I take Neurontin and Tylenol in much smaller doses. The surgery was provided in two days with a “rest” day between. I was in the hospital 5 additional days. This was exactly as Dr Roh had prepared me to expect. Recovery has been steady. Most notable is that my endurance and energy has returned. I am so happy I had the surgery with Dr Roh and his great team of professionals.I was having asthma attacks and had never had these problems until about a year and a half before my surgery. I was on three inhalers. My pulmonologist has now taken me off all inhalers. That alone has been a huge health benefit and cost savings.I have a 16-year-old hip replacement and since July it had been dislocating almost weekly. My orthopedic surgeon said that until the scoliosis was treated a hip replacement/alteration would only be a short-term solution due to the tilt of my pelvis from the progressing scoliosis. Post-surgery I am working with my amazing PT to strengthen the muscles and ligaments to see if I can avoid another surgery. My orthopedic surgeon is monitoring me but so far only two dislocations shortly after the surgery.

After several years of chronic pain and anticipating a future in a wheelchair, I found Dr Roh. He truly is a miracle maker. His skill in performing my minimally invasive lumbar fusion took me from a dark hole of constant physical and psychological pain back to a normal pain free life. 10 years ago, my daughter (15 at the time) saw Dr Roh at the end of a long series of doctors who could not help her with a very complicated spinal fracture. Dr. Roh did a single vertebra repair and it was 100% successful. He was at all times professional, courteous and kind. Now 10 years later, Im scheduling a lumbar surgery of my own with him (after a failed attempt with another doctor.) Ive had my initial consult and, again, he was courteous and gave me the information I needed to make my decision. I definitely recommend him. One of the best.

I suffered for years with back pain due to a herniated disk. Dr. Roh was able to correct the issue with an outpatient procedure. I was home the same day and pain free within a week.I highly recommend Dr. Roh and his team. They were professional, efficient and provided a high level of pre and post-surgical care.On a personal note - If you are struggling with the decision on whether or not to take a surgical option for your back pain, I recommend that you do. I tried cortisone shots, pain meds, anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, etc. None the treatments were effective long term. Minimally invasive spine surgery is quick and effective solution.

I went to Dr Roh inMarch of this year. Had my surgery in May and up to that point I lived a miserable life. I was bent over and had pain in both of my legs which made it difficult to walk for any distance. Ofcourse I was scared and sceptical but I am now living a pain free and walking erect life now. Dr Roh and most of his staff have been a delight. My spinal surgeries went well and the results have been amazing! Never in my lifetime had I thought my scoliosis could ever be so well corrected! After three months of recovery time I am back doing almost 80% of my normal activities.
