I have gone to Dr. Cowen for ~40yrs. He preformed RK in the 90s and that has been amazing go from contacts and their cleaners, to nothing, to seeing perfectly for decades. He replaced my lenses that were getting dim because of cataracts with an artificial lense. He has also prescribed glasses and contacts as they were needed. He has been my eye doctor for most of my adult life. His entire staff are friendly and professional, as is Dr. Cowen.

Dr. Cowen - and his staff - were fantastic. Ive been considering PRK for several years, but my eyes have some unique characteristics that make the operation slightly more risky for me than for others. It was important to me to find a doctor who would listen and whom I trusted to look out for my best interest. Dr. Cowen was very patient with me and explained the pros and cons of the operation, and he earned my trust. We ultimately decided to proceed with the operation and the results have been great. (For anybody else who gets PRK, it can take at least a few weeks before your vision starts to get really good, so hang in there.) I highly recommend Dr. Cowen to anyone considering laser eye surgery.
