Ive had nothing but positive experiences with the team at KP Eye Care in Capitol Hill. The sales people are always so nice - and they take their time to take proper measurements. I found glasses I really like in the shop, but of course glasses choices are subjective. They carry designer glasses, in addition to reasonably priced brands. Its certainly not the coolest frame selection in town, but for a basic pair of everyday glasses, theyre great.

Terrible service. Arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday with no line since I injured my heel. I was seen within minutes for X-rays, but it has taken another 4h for them to provide any diagnosis. They’re relying on a virtual radiologist who’s backlogged and probably serving half a dozen other hospitals or urgent care centers. Zero consideration for patient’s time or desire to not spend the night at the hospital.

Horrible experience! I told them I didn’t want to pay extra for a film cover on the glasses because my last pair wore off within 2 years and the lady kept insisting that I get it and I had to just walk out of the store. Really don’t recommend going here if you can avoid it.

They were very rude - wouldn’t let me in without proof of a prescription, and refused to call the location where I got an eye exam to have them fax it over. I entered wearing two masks fully covering my nose and mouth and they insisted on me wearing a third mask, which is insane. Then before I could browse they stayed at my side until I asked to be left alone to browse. On top of that they have terrible selection (must be a KP thing) and exorbitant lenses charges (again a KP thing). You’re better off paying out of pocket at warby parker where you can get frames and lenses cheaper than the out of pocket lenses costs you pay at KP...

Terrible service - made an appointment and was told it would be 1-2 hour wait because they needed to take a lunch. So I asked if I could return in an hour and they said it was now “first come first served” and I would have to go to the back of the line and could not make another appointment later because they were too busy. Go elsewhere!

Id happily forfeit my $300 vision benefit to not ever have to go here again. They couldnt get my medical records from Kaiser in California, I waited almost an hour to pick up my frames, and then she told me she didnt have time to adjust them because they were busy with other customers. Next time Ill stick with Warby Parker where Ill get way cuter frames with way better service.

Very good and knowledgeable eye doctors with vast experiences. My family been here few times and can’t speak for the rest of the building but we never had a problem or issue with any doctor or staff on 5th floor.
