As one of Dr. Shigakis patients for many years, I have been more than grateful for what she has done for me as my doctor. She has always been eager and humble to ensure my needs, and it puts my mind at ease to know that I have been in her primary care. I cant thank her enough for the work she has done for me. I hope that her willingness to help patients will always shine through, and may her empathy always be appreciated.

It takes anywhere from 3 hours to over 24 hours to get my medication. I understand that but i wish they wouldnt tell them that it would be ready in an hour or 45 mins when i use the chat to ask if its ready. Its starting to take up a huge part of my day getting the medication. Also, i cant go Anywhere else because my insurance doesnt cover it. However, The employees at the pharmacy are super nice and helpful

I get never get through to make an appointment. It take about 3 call backs before someone actually helps me. They can only find you in there system by your Kaiser ID. The appointment staff are rude when you call in and unhelpful a waited 35 mins to make my daughter an appointment thisMorning for them to tell me to call member services for her MRN and call back and was promptly hung up on. This system is inefficient and extremely frustrating.

The pharmacy and pharmacy technicians are clueless. One day they will tell you one thing, and then when you call the next day to confirm...there is a whole new set of problems caused by the lack of intelligence in the pharmacy department. I was told one day that they had 2 of 3 of my medications and would rush order the third. I called the next morning to ask when I could pick them up...and they now told me they didnt have ONE OF THE OTHER medications in. Yet they did the day before when I had a Rx order for them. WHY WERENT THEY FILLED IN MY NAME?TERRIBLE. Thanks Kaiser for being careless and potentially causing severe cold-turkey withdrawal. They mis-handle doctor instructions more times than not.Youre also just another number to them...they couldnt care less about the problems they have caused me. WORST organization Ive had to deal with in the medical field. Good riddance Kaiser

Anything COVID related, do not go here. Even if you have appointment and you check in on time. You still need to wait for an hour or two for the nurse to give you a test or vaccination. The management is the worst.

I am currently in the waiting room and just got yelled at by a nurse - in front of a crowded lobby - for showing up to my appointment as scheduled, which she then berated me again for once I got to the injection room. She was upset because I called and scheduled it myself (as instructed by my doctor) because they had not called me in the given time period. This was extremely unprofessional and quite the opposite of how compassionate healthcare should operate.Edit: Ive been coming here a couple of months now, and I think theres been *one* visit without some sort of major error - running from billing, to medical, to ethical. I asked to transfer care because of this.

Had to leave Kaiser Permanente to save my own life. Doctors are accusatory when it comes to answering questions about past history. They put false things in your chart such as alcohol abuse for going out on a Friday night. They ignored a severe skin problem on my foot when I have diabetes, I had to seek treatment for it outside of Kaiser Permanente. Now, I have a broken bone in my foot, the doctor actually ordered the x-ray but they wont allow me in the building to get it.Avoid going to ANY Kaiser Permanente, they really have some issues that will cost someone their life. These people were way better 10 years ago when it was Group Health. I was a patient of Group Health for about 18 years. No more!

I’m disappointed by the quality here. The building is clean and nice. The folks who work in customer service are usually kind and do their best, but the doctors I’ve seen were polite, but unhelpful. The pharmacists, rude and unhelpful. Basically, just diagnose yourself, tell them what you need and get out ASAP. For your visit: bring a book, food, water, wear layers and keep your wits about you. Know what you need before you go. Explain what you need them to do in the simplest way possible. Good luck doing this in under 3 hours. Ive filled out the surveys, and still seeing the same. You’re welcome.

Never coming here again.. I have had group health insurance for the last 7 years. After the switch to Kaiser, I went to see a behavioral specialist and had a normal appointment only to be billed $600. Thats more than I would have paid anywhere else. I called to get an estimate of what it was supposed to cost and was told $200.... not sure how this happened. Dont go here, they will rob you.

Problem-free. Wonderful doctors and medical assistants.I have to add this: people who post a negative review are those who expect things the day of, or dont do their homework. They forget about the friendly staff and beautiful campus that theyre welcomed with.News flash: not all ins. comps and health care providers are the same. Do your due diligence and study the brochure when signing on with a company. Kaiser is more than fair.

I wish I could give zero stars. The counseling center is horrible! They offered me to attend a group class instead of counseling. I choose my plan based upon the counseling benefit only to learn that they have availability for monthly or every 6 weeks, at best. When I found another provider in the community who was in network with my plan and who had availability, Kaiser denied coverage for my visits, despite getting the proper referral form. (No need for a reply to this Kaiser rep, Im sure it will just be the same BS!)

I have been a lifelong GHC member. I always get great service at this location. I have never waited more than fifteen minutes, and that is usually because I was early. I have been a Group Health member for 7 years (and Kaiser Permanente member for 6 when I lived in DC) - and always received excellent service with friendly and knowledgeable doctors and staff. Comments about long waits puzzle me because I never had to wait more than 10 minutes after arriving for appointments made a few days in advance. My doctor often spends 30-45 minutes with me which I understand is not common at other HMOs. I rate both Kaiser and Group Health excellent.

My kids visits to their pediatrician (Dr. Gyaltsong) and my visits (Dr. Globerman) have been very good. Both doctors are nice, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Weve had good care for our annual check-ups and have been able to get appointments quickly when sick. It is very handy having the lab, pharmacy and immunizations down the hall so you dont need to make another trip somewhere. Got my flu shot in less than 10 minutes.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES!!! They barely have room in their busy schedules to get you in once a month. When I called to get an exception letter to receive services in the community they did not take my initial request seriously so when I called back they had no idea that I was looking elsewhere. This slowed down the process of me being able to see another professional and I had to cancel an appointment because their lack of accountability. They would do nothing to expedite or right their wrong. Very frustrating.

I had an uneventful and routine eye exam and phoned the office later that week with my contact lens information. At the time of the phone call, I re-ordered my contact lenses and paid with a credit card. Two weeks went by - no contact lenses. No charge to my CC account. I called back today - there was no record of my order in the system. The nice person on the phone offered to overnight the lenses to me, which I appreciated. I think Im going to order lenses from CostCo in the future.

Garbage customer service. At the clinic you have to call customer support and wait on hold for a half hour to find out the cost of a procedure, nobody there will help you. If you have a simple issue its cheaper to visit an urgent care facility outside of their network. Trying to find the least expensive way to deal with a sinus infection I was given a range of $105-400+ for an office visit. I was then directed to their online, CareNow, service which charged me $10 just to tell me that they cannot prescribe antibiotics unless my infection has lasted for more than 10 days. Returned to customer service who told me they were powerless to do anything about what their own, CareNow, service charges.

I came in for a yearly check up today and wanted to speak to a doctor about things that have changed over the year. First of all, I called in to make the appointment and said I wanted to do a check up and the lady on the phone put me down for a physical when I didnt need that and called my moms number instead of my personal cell number I gave her for the reminder call of my appointment. When I filled out their questionaire, alot of my answers have changed from the previous year, but they didnt seem to ask me about them or care that I put down that I am depressed, concerned about my weight, drinking, etc. After checking my heart rate, weight, etc. the doctor asked me to finish filling out one of the forms and then left. I didnt even get a chance to speak to her about anything that was concerning me. She just left and the assistant lead me to the lobby. Never going back here again. I will be going back to my Lynnwood location. Preferred it when it was Group Health and not taken by Kaiser.

Im an oldie and a longtimer at GHC, but this new GHC is sure NOTHING like it used to be and should now be!. I have a wonderful eye doc, Dr. Matsuda. They dont come any better than he. Ive had some good doctors, but...this Northgate Center is understaffed and overworked.(and this told to me by many docs and staff) Ive waited for almost 2 hours for the appt! Often wait 30-40 minutes. But, folks, the worst aspect of GHC--and thats for ALL of GHC Centers--is their fraudulent, incompetent, mind-numbing, time-absorbing, frustrating billing department. Ive been billed twice for the same visit! Then twice for the SAME rotator cuff surgery, both noted as one taking place 5 minutes before the other---ON THE SAME SHOULDER!! When I called to inquire, a sweet little voice told me that she noted I was old, and, perhaps, I had just forgotten... That sent me into a tailspin-- Plus, GHC contracts with ONLY one breathing apparatus supplier, Apria--one of the most hated companies in Seattle, and for good reason! (go onto YELP-note Apria Healthcare AND Apria Health Care--more or less spreads the negative review around.) GHC assigned a nanny to the director/manager of Apria, but, in my two-month battle with GHC to have them change me to Norco, a much better company, the complaints continued, even accelerated. Not ONCE in three (3) years had Apria been out to service my 02 concentrator---each time they failed to make the appt. See Yelp for my saga. And, yes, machine broke, but...they are still trying to collect the last $18.92 for that last, non-working month. And now, going in for my annual (free) Wellness Medicare exam, the doc went over the medicare guide lines, charged me for a regular visit...and when I complained and refused to pay anything, GHC included charges for the tests! Nasty! Just wanted to pay me back! Plus, two of their own people, one a receptionist, the other one of their doctor staff are also doing battle with GHC billing, even sending a fraudulent billing to collections--of this womans underage daughter!!!!!! I now have finalized my complaints to Medicare Fraud---and the caseworker has indicated that I need not pay...and will be examining the fraud--three times for me since Medicare--and then for the many other seniors dealing with Apria. Finally, finally...Plus I have written to the State Insurance Commissioner who is very, very interested in GHCs billing practices. I, apparently, am not the only one. So, if anyone is considering GHC--hold off! Kaiser Permanente is thinking of picking up GHC. Friends who have KP are happy---and rarely are subjected to such fraud, frustration. In fact the first MC Fraud caseworker asked if I had considered a lawsuit or gathering other for a class action lawsuit. Nope, but I am checking if I can do a small claims for time spent fending off their grasping fingers. And the health editor of the Seattle Times might like to do another expose of GHC; previous, it was about extremely poor and unfair practices for their senior members!!!...
