BEWARE and compare Kenyon’s manuals with the credible companies out there.Our agency the used Corridor manual for many years but needed to comply with the latest Medicare changes (42 CFR 484) and California Title 22 requirements.Through my several conversations, Ginny KENYON was explaining the regulatory requirements and was very specific on the regs and which Manual would suit us. She mentioned several consultants from the various certifying and accredited agencies had worked on the Manual, to update on the latest CoP’s.I then took her guidance and purchased the Manual and went through each of the policies, I pointed out several format and grammatical errors which was later re-edited. However, as I was going through each section to modify and implement, I could not find reference of the CoP’s, which defeats the purpose of purchasing a new and updated manual for my Agency.Ginny Kenyon didn’t want to reimburse me nor give me a discount but instead suggested I pay another $1800 for the updated and correct version I needed. That is wrong. I wasted time and money on this California P&P “outdated” Manual she sold me this April and small consulting firm.I should have stuck with the reputable Corridor who charges also $1800 but with more resources and no grammar issues. In review of the manual purchased through Kenyon, I felt the other long-standing companies were more Professionally written and not just “copy and paste” of the regs.
