As a transplant, discovering Accelerate has been one of my highlights since moving to Seattle. It really has everything you could ever want from a gym. Knowledgeable coaches, who get to know you and your body, push you, and offer modifications if you have an injury? Check. A clean and well-kept space with top-tier equipment? Absolutely. A community of awesome people who work hard? You bet. The workouts at Accelerate are challenging and the atmosphere is awesome. Can’t recommend it enough!

Accelerate is such a great community and gym. They make up some TOUGH workouts but also connect with the members to ensure there is good form and community during the time there.As we start back with COVID they are being very careful, safe, and smart about how workouts continue with all health standards being considered and enforced.Highly recommend checking this place out, once I tried it I never wanted to leave.

The programming is top notch. The challenging workouts are balanced with encouraging coaches who help each member train at the right level for each individual. Three different class formats all help develop fitness, boost endurance, and build strength. Classes often feature a team element, encouraging interacting with the fun community of members. Ive gotten stronger, fitter, and made some cool friends along the way. Definitely recommend checking out this gym!

The different class formats allow you to get a great mix of strength and conditioning. This gym beats out surrounded gyms in cost and in quality. The facility is top notch and coaches knowledgeable. At 31, I feel as strong and healthy as Ive ever felt. I have tried various fitness routines; none like Accelerate. This is the first time Ive found the right level of challenge in a group setting, while still being treated as an individual with unique goals and needs.I was coached by Brandon before Accelerate. I thought his attention to each individual was outstanding. I followed him to Accelerate and, six months later, I can definitely say it was the right decision. There is no plateauing at Accelerate. Brandon tailors the workouts to your skill in a way thats adequate and very challenging. As soon as you hit a ceiling, Brandon will find a way for you to break through.Lastly, but equally as important, Accelerate classes are fun. The people are phenomenal. Youll be working out alongside strong, encouraging people that make the time you spend working out that much more enjoyable. The environment naturally provides you with that extra oomph to reach (and surpass) your fitness goals.

Accelerate is the best! The different class formats give you a great balance of strength and cardio training throughout the week. The coaches are knowledgeable and program well thought out workouts. They will definitely push you and challenge you, but will never push you beyond what you are comfortable with. They give great feedback to ensure that you are preventing injury and getting the most out of the work you are putting in, and they are happy to modify if needed. Last but certainly not least, is the amazing community. Accelerate members are the most fun, competitive, and hardworking group around. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else!

I’ve tried a lot of gyms in Seattle and Accelerate is hands down the best there is. From the killer workouts, to motivational coaches, to the awesome community, this place has it all. The workout programming is very obviously well thought out and methodical. Brandon, Alex, Andrea, and Devon are all very knowledgeable about the exercises they have us do and why (which is something you don’t always find at other gyms). These coaches not only help you set individual goals but they make sure they help you accomplish these goals and continue improving. Thanks to their dedication I’ve seen changes in my body composition and major progress in my strength and endurance. Along with the coaches, the group of athletes here motivate each other through even the toughest of classes. These classes are addicting and you’ll leave looking forward to the next one!

While it may feel intimidating at first, please dont let that deter you. Accelerate is the absolute best workout Ive ever experienced. I constantly find that Im challenged in new ways, never hitting a plateau, always working towards something new. And while many class-style workouts can sometimes feel isolating, this is by far the best community out there. Cheering one another on through strength, classic, and especially maximum output days -- these are my people and Im so so SO happy to have found this place.

Brandon, and his top team of trainers (Alex, Devon and Andrea!) have truly mastered the group fitness game. The workouts are not only challenging and vary week after week, but they’re also incredibly thought out. I find myself trying new and interesting new techniques (and stretches!) and am surrounded by athletes who encourage each other to give it our all. I’d recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new sweaty community and to get the best workouts in the city.

Accelerate is truly one of a kind! I was immediately drawn to the community and the challenge of their classes. I love having the mixture of conditioning and strength. I used to only do cardio but have noticed a huge difference in adding in regular strength classes. I also feel much more confident lifting thanks to all the coaching on form-the coaches take the time to meet you where you are at and are so encouraging. Can’t recommend this gym enough!

Hands down the best full body conditioning workout in Seattle. The elite coaches at Accelerate have created a program that incorporates both strength and conditioning in a top notch facility. The small group classes allow the coaches to give hands on form tips throughout the workout. Strength classes are focused solely on weight training and strength in a station format. Classic classes incorporate both cardio and strength, also in a station format. MOT (Maximum Output Training) is my favorite And is a team based work out that generally incorporates a lot of cardio with other exercises in between. Regardless of the class, you will not be disappointed.

I have been to quite a few gyms in the area and accelerate goes above and beyond any others I have tried out. Brandon and the team have the best programming with the perfect mix of conditioning and strength. I never lifted before joining accelerate and can feel the difference adding in heavy weights has done for my overall power and endurance. The coaches give such great cues and tips on form so even if you are new to certain exercises they make sure you are doing it safely. The community at accelerate is also incredible. I always leave the gym feeling stronger from the workout and happier because of the encouraging and hard working people around me. It’s an amazing workout that leaves you exhausted yet always wanting to come back for more. Definitely check it out!

Brandon is phenomenal. He really takes the time to learn about your needs and cater the perfect workout to meet those goals. He has an uncanny ability to determine the best exercises to maximize your workout. For me, its gaining strength and muscle, for others it may be losing weight. He will work with you to reach whatever your goals may be. At Accelerate, Im consistently challenged mentally, have seen progress in my strength and conditioning, and have met a wonderful community. One class at Accelerate and I was hooked!After three months this has become my primary workout form aside from outdoor running, and I love it! Accelerate has the best balance of strength and conditioning training of any gym Ive been to in Seattle as well as an amazing community. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the workout is always something new. I always find the workout to be challenging and fun and have seen great changes in my strength, endurance and muscle tone. They also offer an online group for nutrition guidance and support and create monthly challenges to help keep members motivated and on track.

Im usually hesitant about group fitness classes, but the workouts here are fun, challenging and very rewarding. Brandon and the other instructors are true experts and natural leaders who get the most out of their clients. The Saturday morning conditioning classes set the tone for my weekends. I also love that they offer mid-day strength classes now. Ive worked out at various gyms around the world and this place has a refreshingly down-to-earth vibe to it. But most importantly, you will see results! Im getting seriously shredded. Awesome gym and community.

While we have only been in Seattle for a short time, I’m confident saying you won’t get a better workout, or community, than you will at Accelerate. The workouts are challenging for beginners to elite athletes, but you always get the attention that you’d expect from a small-group/personal training session.Really lucky to have found my fitness home (and family) so early on in my Seattle life.

I had always been wary of group-based fitness classes but I am so happy that I gave Accelerate a try. Both the strength and conditioning classes are the best workouts Ive had since wrestling practices in high school! Accelerate is the gym you never knew you were looking for! I followed Brandon from his previous employer b/c he just has a way of pushing you while empowering you at the same time. I was always a cardio girl and never knew how much strength training could change my body. The classes are a great mix of strength and conditioning, and I always leave pleasantly exhausted and excited for the next workout!

I dont think a review is going to do any justice for how much my partner and I love this place. Its the best gym in Seattle and most likely the entire world ;) Brandon has not only created a gym that will challenge your fitness (regardless of level - Brandon and team are fantastic as modifying any workout to meet you where youre at or work around injuries, pregnancies etc.) and push you to workout harder and smarter than you ever would alone, but the gym has become a really incredible community of people. Love every workout and every person at this gym and cant imagine life without it. If youre looking for a gym but scared of meat heads, fear not. Come and let Brandon whoop you into shape and you and me can whine about how hard the workout is from the back ;)Best gym, great people AND Brandon has decent taste in music which always help make the workouts a little more fun.

I have been training with Brandon for over three years now and I have never been stronger than I am today. As a former division 1 athlete I was drawn to the fitness community he has built and truly enjoy his workouts, even at 5 am! Each workout includes a combination of strength training and conditioning and no workout is the same, so you don’t have to worry about ever getting bored or your body getting used to the workouts. Brandon is very attentive and is always pushing you harder than you think you can go. Accelerate is hands down the best gym in Seattle!

I followed Brandon from his prior gym to Accelerate and try my best to see him four days a week. I am addicted to his workouts and have seen incredible results. I had a baby 10 months ago and am more fit than ever because of his dynamic strength and conditioning workouts. Brandon and Alex are great coaches who spend the time carefully designing each workout to produce the long term results we all are looking for. Accelerate is hands down the best gym in Seattle! Brandon and Alex are both amazing trainers, and I have already seen results in the last month since Ive joined. Since moving back to the area, I tried a lot of gyms around Seattle, and this one is exactly what I was looking for! Its a great mix of strength and cardio, and the workouts are always challenging. I started at Accelerate 6 months ago as I was training to summit Mt Rainier. The goal was to compliment my long hikes with a high intensity class that focused on building functional strength and reducing recovery time. Accelerate was a perfect fit! When it was time to push for the summit I was down 20lbs, felt very strong, and was in the best cardio shape of my life. Couldnt have done it without Branden and the great people at Accelerate!

As a longtime fitness enthusiast, Ive tried most workouts in Seattle. It wasnt until I began personal and group training at Accelerate that I could actually see and feel myself getting faster and stronger. Brandon Hughes expertly creates challenging workouts that change your body in a way that is motivating and measurable. I love that he emphasizes proper form, as Ive learned you get much more out of an exercise when it is performed correctly. The workouts are super tough, well-balanced and feel personalized even in the group setting. Above all, the Accelerate community is filled with great people. Accelerate has the toughest but most rewarding workouts I’ve ever been to. I started at Accelerate when Brandon first started offering classes and it’s been amazing to see it grow. Brandon and Alex create amazing workouts that push you physically and mentally. I have seen my strength and endurance improve significantly especially since they started programming strength specific workouts and tracking progression recently.The environment and community that Accelerate has created is also so unique. Seattle can be a tough city to meet people and it’s the place where I look forward to not only working out, but also have so many friends from it. Ve attended many bootcamps and this is without question the best. Brandon is a top notch coach. The workouts are intense. Each workout includes both conditioning and strength, and because hes so attentive there are no injuries. Because hes the best, he attracts people to his classes that are rewarding to know and fun to workout with. No workouts are ever repeated and variety is especially rewarding. Brandon limits the class sizes so he can remain attentive to effort and form. He obviously loves his work, and hes excellent at his profession. These classes are often the best part of my day, or at the very least the most rewarding.

Accelerate Seattle is unlike any other gym you have been to, I guaranty it. Brandon and his team are one of a kind, and have built such a creative (and crazy effective) program that is the perfect mix of strength training, HIIT and cardio training. Not to mention the awesome Accelerate community they have built. This place has been an absolute game changer for me. After suffering through a severe back injury December 2018, I needed something to kick start my fitness regiment again. I started Accelerate in April of this year and I can honestly say that I am now in the best shape of my life. 15lbs lighter, more endurance than I have ever had, and my back issues and other problem areas are essentially a thing of the past. The Accelerate family has welcomed me with open arms, and there is no other gym I will work out in. Im all in.P.S. MOT (maximum output training) days arent as bad as you think!

This is the best workout Ive ever done. I was never a morning person and was easily converted to going to 6ams 3 times a week because of how much I enjoyed the class. It is an amazing community of people and the workouts are a great combination of weights and cardio that Id never do on my own. Id recommend Accelerate to anyone!

I would highly recommend Accelerate and Brandon not only for his deep knowledge of fitness and training, but also his professionalism and unparalleled client relations skills. Ive tried OrangeTheory, Flywheel, and many other gyms (including personal training) and nothing gave me the same positive results nor as quickly. Brandons knowledge and experience in training becomes apparent in his attention to form and his thoughtful class formats. Accelerate is a true gem in Seattle. If you are looking for a smart strength and conditioning program, this is it. The trainers, team, and community care about your success, are meticulous on form, and provide support without hesitation.I actually discovered Accelerate on Instagram, looking for a new fitness home after relocating to the city. My body cant handle the heavy impact of a treadmill based HIIT workout 5x/week, so I needed something that gives me group training, smart training protocol, and a tight knit community. I need a challenge, trainers that understand how to push me (and when to tell me to take a chill pill), and something Im not going to get bored doing (hey, its happened).In full transparency, I have not been able to fully join the gym (yet) because I am far along in my pregnancy and Im rehabing from an injury (NOT sustained while at Accelerate). Ive popped in for a few awesome classes! Postpartum I trust the team here to help get me back. It may take a bit, but I am anxious to fully take advantage of the strength and nutrition program, and fit back in my lululemon pants ;)I highly recommend checking out a class and coming with an open mind. Everyone is super friendly. You get out what you put in!

I cannot say enough great things about Accelerate Seattle! As a former division 1 athlete, I have been searching for a fitness program that provides the sense of community and competition that you can find at Accelerate. Each workout is a combination of strength and conditioning that will push you to the limit. Brandon is an extremely knowledgable trainer, designing every workout with intention and always watching for form.Prior to Accelerate, I worked out religiously at OrangeTheory Fitness. I enjoyed the sense of competition, but felt it was lacking in personalized attention and real strength training. I have been training at Accelerate for 6 months now and I am in the best shape I have ever been - from both a strength and cardio perspective.
