I saw Dr Mukhtar this morning for a consultation on my liver issues. He walked through my recent lab results and medical history and really listened. I did not feel rushed in any way and in fact, he had a calming presence (which is good, considering you are visiting a liver & transplant center!). :) I felt a bit emotional and had mixed feelings about my results but the plan of action was incredibly clear and he answered all of my questions in depth. He has a fantastic approach to patient care and was very encouraging. Im not so worried now and feel more motivated than ever to get in front of these medical issues after visiting him. Thanks!!
