We scheduled our immigration medical exam 2 months ahead, and was told it had to be canceled 1h prior to our appointments. The next available window they can schedule us is another month away. Well done!Edit: change from one star to two. Just to show some empathy, life is full of errands.

I was a walk-in on August 20th with a swollen fractured big toe. As I expected there was a wait due to staffing and being really busy. My visit went very well with Alexander M.Huelskamp PA-C and staff. My compliments to this clinics professionalism, friendliness, and concern. I now have a go-to clinic in my Ravenna neighborhood. Sincerely, Todd Leslie

I am extremely disappointed to have to give UW a 1-star review, most of my doctors are UW doctors and I love them. However, I decided to get a basic eye exam and prescription update for my wife and I from the optometry clinic at this location and ended up with a surprise $700 plus bill because they do not take my vision insurance. First, over $700 for two eye exams (15 minutes each) is absurd when the average out-of-pocket eye exam in Seattle is $112. Second, no one asked about insurance, they just asked if anything had changed since my last visit and I made the assumption that UW had taken care of all their documentation already. I scheduled this appointment almost 3 months out, UW had three months to check my insurance and documentation. So not only did I get extraordinarily overcharged for an eye exam, but UW also failed to do a basic lookup of my insurance that any other optometry clinic would have done before my appointment.

Disappointing appointment.I have been struggling with anxiety my whole life. I moved to Seattle a year ago. Ive been so scared to even attempt a new doctor because I have been so comfortable with my past doctor for 10 year out of state. With covid, I havent been able to get back to my primary doctor.I decided to go here (first doctor in Seattle), and they refused to refill some of my prescriptions. Some of these prescriptions cant be stopped cold turkey. They referred me to some specialists, which after I called, is many months out for appointments..Pretty disappointing. I already have high anxiety and they helped even more with that.. and didnt even fill the stuff I need to help with it. Sad.Not even sure where to look next.. maybe take a risk and fly back out of state to see a doctor that will listen to me.

Had a wonderful experience establishing care with Dr. Patrick B. McAdams at this clinic. He as well as assistants and staff were friendly, very polite, and helped me with several issues very quickly. Additionally, I appreciate that this clinic does blood draws on site, which adds a lot of convenience as you wont have to go to Quest Diagnostics.

This review is in regard to my husband’s visit with Brandon Ware, PA-C today. We both went in as we suspected we had the flu. We were both told we had colds. The PA-C I saw did a flu swab just to be sure. Brandon Ware, who saw my husband, did not. Turns out, I have the flu. Can’t be sure about my husband because a flu swab wasn’t done. This is the second time I’ve encountered this PA, Brandon Ware, to be less than helpful. The first time was a call back after I saw a different provider. He was flippant & snarky regarding my test results. Avoid him if you can. He’s a less than remarkable practitioner.

Long and cumbersome phone tree to try to speak to a clinic nurse. When I finally got a human on the line it was someone who was taking messages for a nurse who would call back in several hours. The person was rude and abrupt. They may have a reputation for medical excellence but the customer service is definitely not on par with the other hospital systems in town. One would have expected them to significantly ramp up nurse line availability during the current health scare, or at least find kind people to take messages.

The women at the front desk told me 20min I checked in at 620. At 650 I asked the front desk women if she could do something and see how much longer because I’m in pain just sitting. She advised me she can’t do anything and the time just got pushed back longer until 7:07 and was super rude about it. It took them a hour and 20min to call me to the Doctor. And when I got back there I could hear people laughing and joking in the room next to me. Most horrible experience ever. I will never be back

Have been seeing a provider here for Primary Care. This clinic has a sign that says Do not hesitate to request an estimate. I asked the attendent and they said We cant provide an estimate, well just send you a billBoth rounds of blood testing results were delivered approximately 5 days late. I was almost injected with Penicillin, a drug which I specified I am allergic to.While, the doctor who treated me appeared competent, this facility suffers from what I suspect are administrative issues.

I went in for a concussion and they found out I have an arrhythmia, which are common and often harmless. They did an EKG to make sure I was fine - it took them 6 tries to get an EKG reading. Then it looked ‘abnormal’ so they sent me to the ER for another EKG - even though they knew I’m young and healthy and very active. The first thing the folks at the ER said after the EKG was that they had no idea why I was in there, and the person who did my EKG must not know what she’s doing. I now have a lot of paperwork to sort through.

Their management is so screwed up. I booked walked in waitlist on line around 4pm, then I arrived at 4:30pm, I was told I need to wait around 45mins. So I keep waiting and around 7pm, which is 2.5 hours later than my arrival, I really run out of patience and asked the nurse why so many people later than me got called while I am still waiting, I was told by nurse she thought I has left. So they got my name out of the list....

Made an appointment for 3:20 in the urgent care. Website said 4 minute wait for walk ins at 2. Drove the 5 minutes it takes to get there only to be quoted an hour. Said I would likely wait until my appointment time. Still sitting here at 4:05...45 min after my appointment time, 1hr 45min after the website said 4 min wait.Horrible music. Uncomfortable chairs. Ridiculous.

It is just IMPOSSIBLE to get somebody on the phone at UW in general. They dont give out direct phone numbers for their clinics, so for any question you have you always have to go through their general call center which ALWAYS experiences an unusually large call volume. Its clearly a lie because if it always happens it cant be unusually large.Think about how crazy it is that I have to now drive through the whole city just because I cant phone my doctor...

Probably the most incompetent group I’ve ever encountered from the receptionist all the way to the so called doctors at this location.Basic medical knowledge and treatment eludes them.Sorry but just because they are in the UW medicine clinic family does not mean they are competent individuals.Go to the Ballard location or anywhere else but here.

My partner is very sick. With possible food poisoning and he has had bathroom trips all through the 2 hour + wait time. The receptionist was kind and provided salt water for his low electrolytes but he hasnt even been triaged yet and is in a lot of pain.We got here around 1:30, its now 3:30, and hes barely had food today. This is his regular provider (uw medicine), but I almost think going to Northwest hospital ER or UW ER would have been faster. How can so many people be sick on a Monday? I am worried about my partner and wish that we had more staff and urgent care options. This is not okay and I am very unhappy. As a massage therapist I have extensive physiology and pathology knowledge. I know he needs to be seen and that his electrolytes are low. This is not okay.I cannot express how angry I am at this clinic.3 stars because I understand the needs of other patients and their policies, but I am so unhappy with the wait for the severity of his illness.

Me and my daughter attended this clinic multiple times. We were seen by doctors of various specializations. I am glad to tell that this is the best of all UW Medicine locations. Before that, I attended another UW Medicine (Belltown) and I advice everyone to run away from there. But Ravenna is different.Ravenna personnell is very nice. Doctors are professional. My favorite employees are receptionists. They helped me to resolve any problem, even not included in their primary duties.Very friendly, nice and professional place. I do recommend it to everyone.

I waited an unusually large amount of time after making my appointment and then was kept in the hospital for longer than I needed to be only to have my prescription (with the instructions to take the medication that day) be sent to a pharmacy which closed in 30 minutes and was at least 20 minutes away. On top of that, the prescription didnt even get to the pharmacy until after they closed so I was only able to receive my care by the grace of God and the pharmacist willing to stay an hour after they technically closed. They did not do any due diligence - something King County Public Health agreed with me on - after I had been diagnosed and completely ignored the other reason I came in. This caused that reason to be extended by another 2 weeks - at which time I came back in to actually get some kind of consulting as I got NONE before. While checking in, however, I was chastised for making a follow-up appointment with primary care - despite my previous appointment doing absolutely nothing to help me.The doctor was rude, careless with his patients, and did not make me feel welcome at all. I do NOT recommend this place - at least not the urgent care.

In efficient, long waits, waste of time. I wonder how people are willing to waste half a day to get checked up for few seconds. How slow and inefficient a place can be in every way to look at that

Dont waste your time bothering to make an urgent care appointment online. They say you can skip the line by doing this, but chances are when you arrive youll end up waiting the full wait time after your scheduled appointment anyways.
