Been going here for an L&I claim for a year and a half and they havent billed L&I on their own literally even ONCE. doesnt matter if I triple check with the front desk person, doesnt matter if I check with my doctor, doesnt matter that I gave myself a nickname in their system so theyll be constantly seeing BILL L&I, NOT MY INSURANCE, doesnt matter if I mentioned it while scheduling, send messages, theres nothing you can do. Their doctors do fine but unless you want to spend LITERALLY a few HUNDRED hours a year on hold with billing, having panic attacks about their incompetence costing you your credit score for a bill you shouldnt even be on the hook for, dont waste your time here, if it wasnt too late to go anywhere else I would be

I went here for walk in COVID testing and waited in line. I was told (by a nurse I think) I needed to call a phone number to setup my patient account and give them my insurance info to them because I would be holding up the line if they took the info there. The line contained 3 people and I just waited behind 4 people. The person before me was not a patient and they set up an account for them and took their insurance info. The website didnt provide any way of booking an appointment or providing this information beforehand.Somehow I was singled out to have to have to call a number in the corner of the room.It wasnt busy at all at 2pm on a weekday. There were two people standing by the check in computers, why not use both computers? Only one was in use.Why have a crazy long check in process? Fix your computer system!

Good care and treatment. Horrid billing. They had a digit off in the client address and never called, but sent the bill to collections. Additional bills also went to collections before the bills ever arrived. They don’t get prompt record of payments made to the collection agency, but continue billing for those separately. And their “ledger” is a ridiculous jumble of debits and credits with insurance that don’t line up with any of the bills. Visit at the risk of your credit score.

Completely worthless visit w/ Headstrom- she saw me for 10 min and had absolutely nothing to say. Now I have a bill?? They are in-network and never told me that the visit would cost anything. Is this a common practice for medical visits to be a complete mystery cost until month later! This is what is wrong with American healthcare!!! This is coming from the daughter of a surgeon and a nurse. Whats with all the mystery- just tell me how much it is going to cost upfront so I can determine whether not it is worth it... This is why I never go to the doctor, its a complete rip-off. Thanks for nothin. Not recommended.

Five star experience all-around! From scheduling to pre-procedure directions, to the check-in the day of, being prepped, to being released. Friendly, courteous, and friendly staff. I felt valued as a customer and respected as a patient. Highly recommend Dr. Pipin but everyone at the clinic was great!

I was there at 9 am for a Covid test. I went to the office on the 2nd floor. I checked in and was then told to go to a different office on the other end of the 2nd floor because they noticed in my records that I was around someone who had tested positive. I did so and to my surprise, the 2nd woman checking me in was not wearing a mask when I approached. She did put a mask on and then proceeded to ask me for every piece of PHI possible, even reading off my address in front of people. In addition, she asked why I was there. I said for a Covid test. She kept asking why I was there and wasn’t satisfied until I said I had been exposed to someone with Covid. I am not a mind reader and I shouldn’t have to state this out loud because they obviously had documented this when I made the appointment the day before (the first person I checked in with knew after I simply gave my name). I work in healthcare and was shocked by both the failure to wear a mask and then the need to provide all personally identifying information possible, with the exception of my SSN, in front of other people. Very uncomfortable and distressing.

My experience at the Polyclinic was great overall. The COVID19 testing was easy, smooth and professional. Everyone there was masked and very nice.I also had a medical procedure done which required anesthesia. All of the nurses and front office staff were kind and professional. Dr Stanley Lee is knowledgeable, professional and often called me himself when I had questions or concerns. I dont know what else they could have done to make my experience better so Im a bit perplexed at the previous bad reviews. Perhaps they had a shortage of staff during the initial months of the pandemic. However now, everything seems to be pretty well streamlined.

Impossible to get a hold of anybody to book a procedure! They always take a message and will call you back in 72hrs without committing at all to when. This simply doesnt work for people who have to work! There is no other way to book things, other than speaking to one of the assistants, who never seem to be available when you call them. Their online MyChart is useless. Find another clinic that will actually answer your calls and let you bring them business. Dont waste your time here.

Why are you allowing people to crowd into elevators where it is not possible to stay 6 feet apart? Why are you not screening people coming from the garage? I was there for an early morning procedure and finally took the stairs because one staff member after another was insisting on squeezing into an elevator with me and my ride. I also stopped on the first floor for a temperature check and mask change but no one else did from the garage.

Doctor was fine, Administrators are con artists. On my first visit I payed and everything was fine, in fact had 8$ credit. Two months later Polyclinic sends me to collections (for the 8$ they owe me)! And I have to jump through hoops to prove it to collections agent. The next time I come they charge me more than twice the original quote for a procedure. Been sent to 4 different people with no results...another even larger bill came today. I pay out of pocket, no insurance. This kind of neglect should be criminal.

Went into my appointment today. The nurse was being short with me, but I thought nothing of it. Maybe it was a rough day for her. Spoke with the doctor, and he was kind and quick, the only reason I gave this piss place an extra star. The nurse came back laughing and smiling, so I figured a friend cheered her up, and I still stayed friendly. But then she has a freak out, and rudely tells me to stop calling her maam. Now, Im from the South, and if you dont say yes/no maam or sir, youre in for a butt whoopin. She wasnt old, probably near the same age as me, but it doesnt matter. I refer every age to a maam or sir. If she identified as a male or it or whatever, of course I would change the language, but she attacked me and my culture because for some reason shes insecure of her age- which isnt something anyone should be insecure about. If I do go back, Im still say yes maam, no maam until she can POLITELY ask me to stop. Likely, I wont be going back.

My doctors appointment in person was fine, but the lack of responsiveness after my appointment was upsetting to say the least. If I didnt pester them weekly, they would have completely forgotten about my follow-up tests and prior authorization for my prescription. The prior authorization was finally sent to my insurance THREE MONTHS after being prescribed and it was denied. Meanwhile, I had already gone to my primary care doc and they were able to prescribe the same meds AND submit prior authorization all in the same day AND it got approved. They will forget you exist. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I was a patient of the polyclinic for 14 years. I never had a negative experience. I received the best care I’ve received anywhere, and I’ve lived all over the US. Now that I no longer live on the west coast, I realize what a special place the polyclinic is. I think it’s unique.

This review is not about doctors but about administrators. Within 30 days of the first bill, they sent another notice, threatening to send my account to the collection agency and to terminate patient care if the bill is not paid within 14 days. Their priorities are obviously somewhere else than the best patient care.

Doctor was great, administration will be the reason for never returning. I was in the process of disputing charge. I had made two payments, but because it was not an officially approved plan, they turned me to collection. I found out about the official clause after I received the collection notice and called PC to find out why , when I had just made a payment!!Plenty of other options out there that put customer service as a higher priority.

I had a referral from Northwest Hospital to a doctor at the polyclinic for an emergent case. I was to be seen with 72 hours or risk permanent damage to my testicles. When I called to make an appointment I was informed that We dont accept ER referrals, you need to get a referral from your family doctor. To summarize, the polyclinic (which is part of Northwest hospital) refused to accept the referral from THEIR OWN ER despite the fact that I was in a great deal of pain, and the health of my testicles were at risk. Save your self the trouble and find someplace not run by the morons in charge at Northwest hospital and the polyclinic.

Ive had a mixed experience at the Polyclinic. One doctor treating me for one condition was absolutely fine and professional, but alternatively I worked with another doctor to try to deal with some GI issues. He and his staff were completely disinterested. Also, as the result of a routine colonoscopy I was given a prescription to treat a non-serious condition. I asked whether I needed to take this new medication on an ongoing basis or whether it was just temporary. Nobody I could speak with seemed to know and there was no follow up. Its pretty clear the Polyclinic is more interested in profits than patients.

Dr. Leaf is an excellent dermatologist and highly knowledgable. I came to him as a second opinion from Oregon and found that he will always be my first. Excellent consultation and information to was provided to make decisions. Dr. Leaf takes the time and cares about his patients. As someone who has had to go to a lot of dermatologists over the years, I would say he is second to none. Thank you!Dr. Isik, Celeste (Nurse), Michelle(Coordinator), and office staff were wonderful. I went to get an excision on my finger. The staff got me in quickly, provided excellent consultation, coordination with multiple offices and the excision went great. My scar is minimal and no nerve issues. I came up from Oregon and would do the same again - great practice!

I recently had a procedure at the Polyclinic Broadway with Dr. Stephen J. Rulyak. From intake to release, the staff, process, and Dr. Rulyaks care was professional, organized, focused, and geared toward my comfort and well-being. Dr. Rulyak and my care nurse Tiffany (and the rest of the trusted staff) ensured every step was clearly communicated and acknowledged. Dr. Rulyak has that rare combination of honest/pragmatic health expert with good-guy approachability. Overall, I was in good hands and am thankful.

Money-grubbing rip off. My dermatologist left the polyclinic and when I called about the symptoms of a drug he prescribed me, they refused to even talk to me until I made another appointment, took time off work, and paid my insurances copay. They said it was because my dermo was no longer there and I had to become the patient of a new one, at my expense!Offloading the costs of their own incompetence and shortcomings onto their patients. They must have more money than they know what to do with if theyre throwing away patients!

I only had one surgery here six years ago, and Im still paying for that mistake. I was very clear about who my insurance was, but they picked an anesthesiologist that was out of my network and then proceeded to charge me about 1k for the service. They never contacted me, and about three months later they sold it to collections.. which isnt nearly enough time at all. The collection agency has now taken me to court to pay interest on a fee I wasnt even aware of, which is completely illegal, and Im most likely facing a lien on my house for around 2k. I contacted the PolyClinic to inform them, but they didnt have any interest in my report and told me I should owe 8k for the anathesiologist.. which is completely wrong. It was for a simple shoulder surgery that lasted about 2 hours. Terrible service, I highly recommend going to Swedish next door instead.. their payment practices are much clearer and they use an ethical credit collection company.

Dr. Morrison is a very good doctor but is very uncaring and not sensative to the needs of her patients. Refuses to answer questions or concerns, her office staff is rude and discriminates against the elderly and handicapped. Not at all friendly or compasionate. Does not explaine the medications she prescripes, nor the proper way to use them. I suggest the elderly avoid her.
