Counseling is necessary for us all. As Ive looked for help, Pioneer has really done what was helpful for me. Reception is amazing, has gone above to help. The Management also cares to be helpful! If you care so do they.

They really helped me with my recovery road. Although there are hoops that you have to jump through. But its part of life, we make wrong decisions and choose a wrong path. In the end, we will as always come back to people like pioneer counseling staff for support and guidance. Even though we dont do the in person meetings which is more fun because of the covid. However, we do have fun on our meetings three days a week. Its an effort trying to make it to your meetings on time. On the other hand, they have helped me a lot with my steps and tools into my road of recovery. Thank you guys for your service to people like us when we needed the help of change in our lives.

When you call to make an appointment the staff lie to you and say it is a walk-in only. When you show up (walk-in), you then get told that you need an appointment. This place needs to communicate better with possible clients.

You can tell this place specializes in dealing with people who dont have any choice but to be there. They cater to many patients who have legal or addiction issues (no judgement), and clearly express disdain for their clients, and will treat you with little courtesy or helpfulness. I went here because I was looking for sliding scale med management. Dr. Slightam was fine, but after the first few visits I was told he had cut his hours, getting a med check scheduled took weeks, and the desk seems consistently annoyed to work with you or answer your questions. During covid I needed a refill on my prescription, was told that they were closed, and I should have my pharmacy fax a refill request. I didnt find out it was denied until a month later when I called them to follow up after having sent another request, and hearing nothing. Apparently, since I hadnt seen the doctor in a year, I would need to be reevaluated (cost $300+) before being given a simple refill of a non-scheduled, but essential to me, medication. Since the cost of an evaluation was all that was keeping me from finding a better clinic and doctor, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

My experience I hadnt drank almost all adult life 30 years had 2-3 drinks in one night got into legal trouble and they recommend treatment for a relapse how can someone relapse that didnt have a drinking problem because didnt drink dont care for alcohol only drank through peer pressure dont crave drinks never had previous legal drinking issues because AVOID YHIS PLACE AT ALL COST do yourself a favor and get your assessment somewhere more ethical like seamar behavioral healthThis place is very unethical I would not get any services done from them especially if you have never had any addiction with alcohol issues because they will say that you have they fraudulently access people to make it look like you have a problem you don’t even when never a history of problems with alcohol just to fraudulently bill insurance companies for treatment that others in the same business would say is not needed then they lie when they tell you as in my case it would only be 2 months now was just told a different story to make it go longer and trying to force me to say things that are not true just to justify their billing for an unneeded service as in my case hadn’t drank in over 22 years can count on one hand times I drank when did drink was from peer pressure and because after 22 years I had a few drinks mixed with my pain medications and got into legal problems they wanna make like I have a problem when I never craved alcohol and never got into any binge drinking or legal issues over drinking the less than 6 times I drank in over 45 years if any one else has had ethical problems with this place contact me and let’s go to the attorney general and anyone else and expose this problem with themYou know they are unethical when they can say someone has a severe problem with drinking with that person is only drink around five times in their life and they equate this to having an addiction and needing recovery And then threatening you to make you do the program longer or redo the program or report your property report you to your probation officer They expect me to be unethical like them and lie about addiction and recovery just so they can put in the report that there was a problem so they can bill the insurance companyUnfortunately they messed around with someone this time who are not just lie down and take it I finally got a copy of their assessment to the attorney general and anybody else that I can send it to to show that there is never been an alcohol related historyAnd another reason not to do business with this place is look at their reviews they have way more one stars they do five or any other stars did they have far more unethical and bad business practices and more complaints about them and they do have good And I am pretty sure they violated Hipparchus laws were at least my counselor did by revealing information to someone else at another aa group which I am looking into and their responses to you they say they want to improve services and really want you to contact them but that is not true I have talk to them repeatedly over this false labeling of me and they still will not do nothing about it they will stick to their assessment no matter what how how badly they are confronted with that being wrong they said I am they will say they made improvements when if you look at their business practices and their ratings they have made no improvements and I will keep adding more and more to this review exposing their unethical dishonest practices and why people should avoid they say all have alcohol problems who come to them so they can fraudulently bill insurance companiesWhen I was told of their assessment and I told the counselor or therapist whatever you want to call her that I wanted to go get a second opinion she contacted my probation officer and told him I refused intake I did not refuse I wanted a second opinion but she underhandedly called up my probation officer and let him think that I was refusing services this is the kind of things they do to ensure that they get your insurance money they have no morals

Ive been going there for nearly 2.5 years. Both mental health:/alcoholism. I initially chose them because I needed evaluations for Court and they were cheapest. Approximately 3 weeks later 2+ counselors vanished so they finally hired 1 person for 3 counselors duties. He tried his hardest (compassionate knowledgeable) He was required to teach the CD/IOP 3x a week for 3 hrs. Hes very knowledgeable but after 1 year of this they fired him....the only thing I found POSITIVE was P the receptionist..... I can go on....
