Years ago I slipped and fell at work - a really big ordeal at the time - so I started asking around for where I could get some help. A colleague that worked downtown recommended Dr Bowers, and although I live north I made the trek.Best decision ever.Upon meeting Dr Bowers I knew I was in a great place. He helped me with pain in my lower back and a tightening in the neck. He also shared information that helped me understand what I could do going forward and I walked out after the first visit feeling better.I continued to go in for follow up, allowing me to focus on building up my strength after my initial recovery.I still visit and highly recommend Dr Bowers as hes one of the most professional doctors Ive ever met -- and hes personable - a good conversation goes a long way!

Dr. Bowers is truly an amazing chiropractor! I went to visit him after my back literally froze up while carrying my son down the stairs. He took detailed X-rays and did some amazing adjustment work and educated me all about my spine. I left feeling so relieved almost immediately. Such a great experience and I would continue to use him for any of my chiropractic needs!

I think this office uses a bot to schedule appts. You get spammed with a bunch of texts and when you do show up to the appointment, no one picks up the phone when they’ve asked you to call. No one answers your questions directly, which is what makes me think it’s a bot handling the phones. I asked about parking and they keep telling me they have parking, but not where it is. If you ask “Ashley” this question, she will just give you the location of the office.

Dr. Bowers is the best. My experience with his team has helped me with my healing and recovery more times than one.

I got a Groupon to try this place out. It’s a pretty good deal, but it’s useless because they never got back to me to schedule an appointment. I called, left a message, sent an email with their website’s form, and called back three more times. No one ever picked up or returned my call. What if I was an existing patient trying to get care? All of the reviews on here are from 7 years ago. Seems like these guys may have closed their doors...

I first met Dr Bowers when I went to a presentation at Borders Bookstore. At the time, I wasnt necessarily in any physical pain, but I was gaining weight, wasnt sleeping well and felt fatigued all the time. I had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome a few years ago, but was never really given any concrete ways to try to combat the symptoms. I had never considered chiropractic care as an option to help my situation, but after listening to Dr Bowers speak, I felt like it was the answer I was looking for. I went in for my initial evaluation and was extremely impressed with everything about his practice. His office assistant is always willing to go above and beyond to make visits convenient and to help with any payment questions. Dr Bowers is very knowledgeable in his field and does a great job of explaining why we are treating certain things in certain ways. Since I have started treatment with Dr Bowers, I am sleeping better, feel less fatigued and seem to handle stressful situations better. I leave every visit with a renewed sense of hope that someone cares about my situation.

I initially sought out Market Place chiropractic for stress related pain. After only three appointments, my pain had begun to subside and I knew that there was so much more that I could accomplish with Dr. Bowers. Within one month of seeing my progress my husband began his care and I began bringing my 12-year-old daughter for treatment to maintain her health also. I now consult with Dr. Bowers on all aspects of my familys physical and mental health.

Our Son was identified with a learning disability, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder during the autumn of third grade. It was very difficult for him to pay attention throughout the school days activities. His behavior also suffered at this time. With much hesitation, I took him to the pediatrician and began treating the ADHD with Ritalin. Because this medicine made him sleepy and out of it,” we switched to Strattera, we found that even though his behavior had improved, he was not the same active child that he once was. It was at this time (Summer 2004), a friend introduced me to the idea of treating ADHD with chiropractic. I took him in for an initial evaluation and left feeling hopeful. At that point, we discontinued the medication and he began to see Market Place Chiropractic three times a week and take vitamins. Four months later, my son brought home his first ever perfect spelling test! Even his teachers and tutor notice that his ability to focus and concentrate has improved. We are very happy to see improvement in a safe and natural way.

Our daughter has always been very active in sports. She just finished up a cheerleading season and had started to run track. I noticed she no longer had breakfast, her lunch money was being returned and supper was optional. She had no appetite. Her weight soon dropped; she had no energy and mood swings were occurring. Needless to say, we were very worried. I thought a nutritionist might be able to help, but finding one who would not require a blood test would be a challenge. I called Dr Bowers and told him about her problem. He suggested we come in and talk to him about how chiropractic could help. With chiropractic adjustments reducing nerve interference, her appetite is back. She has also gained other benefits that we had not even originally addressed. Her monthly periods were very irregular and painful. Today they are much more predictable and regular and not nearly as painful. She has also not had a headache! Before she began getting chiropractic adjustments with Dr Bowers, she would have a bad headache at least every other week.
