Absolutely amazing place. I was using the chiro in my hospital for a while and checked a few different places until I landed here. I’m definitely sticking with this place from now on! No other place has actually LISTENED like Chris does. I believe they accept most insurances, but the front desk is lovely and will definitely check that for you. It’s even quite affordable out of insurance! (My previous place was charging over 100$ a visit…) They are also amazing and will extensively ask you about your history and pain to find the real causers, and if they can do something or if you need some other help they’ll let you know. You’re in and out so fast, but they fix everything you need! It’s an great little place in somewhere i’ve passed so often and never noticed - but I hope more people do notice it and will come and also recommend. Not just a great business, but such great people too.

Dr. Chris is dedicated to his patients. When I’ve been in pain, he’s always got me in for an appointment. I’ve been fortunate to get same day appointments sometimes. Dr. Chris takes the time needed to do an incredible job on adjustments. I’ve been very happy with Ali the massage therapist. Both are so friendly and helpful. It’s nice they have a parking lot. I’ve also easily taken the bus there.

Dr Chris is a skilled practitioner who uses both traditional and contemporary techniques to treat his patients. He helped resolve a 20 year chronic low back pain for my husband, and I see him periodically as needed for general adjustments. He’s among the best and can be trusted to do what’s in his patients best interests. And he’s just a super nice guy!

I have always been able to get an appointment quickly and the care has been great. I’m able to work without pain again!

Dr. Chris is amazing, I had a really bad pinched nerve, so he had me see him 2x a week for a month and gave me exercises to do at home. I was almost back to normal, if I didnt hurt myself again.

Great customer service and efficient! I can get in the same week and sometimes the same day and they are responsive to emails even on weekends. Went to another chiro in Seattle that just seemed sleezy and basically told me I was broken beyond belief. Dr. Chris just tells me how it is. Hes honest, competent and just plain good at what he does! The massage therapist are both amazing- I recommend this place to all my friends and family. First time I went to this place a week ago, and I really enjoyed my time. Massage was amazing, and the adjustment with Chris too. I had concerns with the insurance, and Chris explained everything, broke down the costa etc. which I really appreciate (insurance is always hard to figure out). I used to go to another place in downtown, but I moved to WS and really happy that the reviews on Google are true. See you soon!

I had never been to a chiropractor before, but Dr. Chris made me feel super comfortable and most importantly helped my neck pain immensely! I appreciate that they verify that your insurance will cover treatment ahead of time and they are very accommodating schedule wise. I also had a wonderful massage that finally allowed my muscles to relax after weeks of pain and tightness. I can not recommend these caregivers enough!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chris for chiropractic work and Ali for massage work for several months. They are the most competent, professional, ethical, consistent, kind, and knowledgeable professionals I’ve ever worked with! They have done wonders for my chronic daily headaches/migraines and have seriously given me a brand new back and neck. Today I had an appointment and on my way there got in a minor car accident and ended up arriving 20 minutes late. They were VERY accommodating and ended up still providing the full massage and chiropractic adjustment despite me being late. They don’t cut corners and are incredibly thorough. Had my first visit with Dr Chris on Friday and it was my first chiropractor visit ever. He was very helpful explaining my available insurance to me. My adjustments went amazingly and were exactly what my back was needing. He gave me exercises for homework and they have been helping my back even more at home. Looking forward to continued care provided by Dr Chris. I will be recommending my friends and family to his practice. Can’t wait for my visit with his massage therapist next week.Edited to add:Had my visit with Dr. Chris’ massage therapist Ali today and WOW, my shoulders and hips are so thankful. Ali was very thorough by asking about my concerns, assessing my tissue, and then working the tissue to get the problem areas smoothed out. He did a good job of telling me each step along the way so I wasn’t surprised with any sensations. I followed my therapy with an adjustment by Dr. Chris and we reviewed the exercises I worked on all week. My back has never felt better. So thankful for the care provided by both Dr. Chris and Ali!

I went in with a very painful rib “dislocation” and Dr. Prouty was quick, professional, and made me feel very comfortable. I regained range of motion and strength after just one session and after a few follow-up adjustments, I am feeling so much better. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Went in to see Dr. Kesh for prenatal realignment. I was attempting a VBAC and Dr. Kesh and her team were super helpful and understanding. We did have a successful VBAC. I dont know if it was partly due to the readjustment from Dr. Kesh and prenatal massage from her team but the pushing stage was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Recently moved to West Seattle, and SO glad my chiropractor in Oregon recommended I see his colleague. Im pretty skeptical of trying out new places, but the moving did a number on my back and I decided to follow through and give this place a try... Honest and ethical chiropractic care with no weird sales pitch, which unfortunately cant be said for some sketchy places out there. Told me what needed to be done, some solid treatments under my belt and Im able to be back at work and take care of my kiddos. Parking in the back is AWESOME and really helps! Other chiropractors will give you a quick adjustment and tell you to be careful and come back soon.... You end up feeling a bit like cattle. Dr. Chris spends significantly more time assessing your needs and working on you. I get 2 to 4x the time and attention I used to receive at my old chiropractors office. He is knowledgeable about the human body and very thorough. He is a very good person too. I recommend Dr. Chris Prouty at Advanced Neck & Back 100%. You wont be disappointed and the level of care and attention put into the work on your tissues and joints. I recently visited Advanced Back and Neck Pain clinic and was extremely happy with both the care I received and the overall experience. Booking the appointment was easy online and when I called with a question, the phone was answered promptly. Dr. Chris was knowledgeable, professional, and greatly reduced my pain in just the first visit alone. I was nervous to seek out care given the pandemic but the pain was just too great to endure. I am very glad I went. They take every conceivable precaution to prevent the spread of COVID and improved the quality of my life by easing my discomfort.

I saw Dr. Chris for neck and shoulder stiffness a couple of months ago. I felt a lot a relief after the first session itself and he worked with me over a few more sessions just to ensure that the pain is gone for good. He told me about a couple stretches I could do that would ease the tension too. His technique was excellent. The clinic has a very homey feel to it and the front desk person May is very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend him 100% to anyone with such problems.

I was about 5 months pregnant when I started reading up about chiropractic work for infants and the benefits it has for them. When I called Dr. Chris, he was extremely helpful and guided me through what it would look like for an infant to get adjusted. Our baby was breech so she had some stiff neck issues. Dr. Chris was so gentle and sweet with our baby. She slept through every adjustment and after a few sessions, her neck was much better. I was also impressed how knowledgeable he was about babies and adults alike. We will be taking her there monthly to get adjustments and I hope to get an appointment for myself as well!

These guys are awesome. Been to Chiropractors in the past where I didn’t see results which made me skeptical however Advanced Back and Neck Pain has changed my opinion entirely. I heavily suggest getting in there for routine adjustments and deep tissue massage. My back was wound up like a Swiss Clock for over a decade and now has become so much more flexible that it’s hard to believe I lived that way for so long.

After the (surprised)change of ownership when Dr Ferkel retired I was worried about the future. However with Kay remaining at the front desk and the visits with the new Dr I have found services to be friendly, professional and the new techniques much appreciated! The updated decor/amenities are a nice modern change and overall the experience has and is always a positive one!

Started seeing the chiropractors at Advanced back and neck pain clinic when I got into a car accident. I enjoy working out and being active and after the accident I couldn’t do a whole lot! Great clinic I enjoy getting pain relief naturally and not using medication anymore. Prior to coming here I would take Ibuprofen everyday. I highly recommend getting an adjustment and massage here.

I m illustrator and doing computer and phone A lot , so chiropractor kinda become my “friend”. I went to few , but none of them like here , few Months ago I can’t even move my head ,turn my head around . my muscles was so tight and in pain . Until I found Dr.Chris .HE CARES !!!Since I go treat my neck with him, and follow the plan he have told me , now my pain goes away, and I still back to him once a month, my neck pain problem is completely gone .He is very professional and knows chiropractic andAsian style cupping and hot pads treatments , which really helped muscles to heal.Now I can draw and play phone as long as I want .It’s The best chiropractic in Seattle .

I seriously can’t recommend Advanced Back & Neck Pain Clinic enough! I’ve had on/off issues with costochondritis since I was a teenager... I have been to more than my fair share of chiropractors over the years and Dr. Chris is the first one that has ever really been able to address the issue and provide relief. While I currently live nearby, I would absolutely make the effort to drive across town to continue care at this clinic. Plus, scheduling an appointment is just a simple phone call to Kay (she’s a lovely person btw). If my schedule is flexible, I’m always been able to get same day appointments (this is especially important when a flare up happens!).

AWESOME CARE right here! I could barely move my arm when I arrived. Dr. Chris asked great questions, identified my injury, and offered hands-on treatment. I felt soooo much better in a matter of minutes. He is friendly and very knowledgable! My care plan is very affordable and I trust that I will heal 100% by following his at-home (easy) exercises. Treatments are never painful. Dr. Chris is consistently on time and the office environment is peaceful :)

There seems to be something fishy with this clinic. They do not reveal on the website the name, education, not experience of the chiropractor who works here. So I called them, and the receptionist wouldnt disclose his/her name either.I strongly suggest to everyone looking for a chiropractor to know the background and credentials of the doctor before making an appointment

My treatment was really great. This was my first time. I felt that the chiro took the time and listened to my issues while reassuring me of my concerns. I didnt feel rushed and left feeling relieved.

Dr. Ferkel has been my chiropractor for about a year now and I have to say he’s the best one I’ve ever seen. Either their hours were totally unmanageable with a work schedule, they didn’t get the job done, or they literally took my personal number off the patient sheet and texted me to ask me out (yes, seriously). Finally, I moved to West Seattle and made the best medical decision I’ve made to date by visiting the Advanced Back & Neck Pain Clinic. I’ve never been happier with a chiropractor. Dr. Ferkel and Kay are the nicest people I’ve ever met. They answer my calls and emails right away, they genuinely care about what’s happening with their patients, Dr. Ferkel teaches people how to move appropriately and what happens when they don’t, and tonight they really went the extra mile by staying late to fix me up when I hurt my neck.
