Like many people, we were thrust into needing to find an adult care home suddenly when my mother had a fall, could no longer live on her own, and had to leave rehab in 48 hours. We were very fortunate to have had Sylvana from Concierge Care help us through the process. She was compassionate and knowledgeable and helped us to ask many questions we never would have thought of on our own. She helped us to understand what alternative arrangements would be possible (including at-home care and living with us), what each option would realistically entail, and did not pressure us to make a specific choice.It would have been nearly impossible to navigate this process in time without such a guide. The way they are compensated- essentially a commission on the initial placement, seems fair and aligns their interests with their clients. Both the home caregivers and the clients need help to be matched up, and Sylvana provided it skillfully and well.

Rose was absolutely wonderful to work with! My sister and I needed to find a place for our very young (60s) but very ill father. He was in and out of the hospital and short-term care facilities for months (during the pandemic) with myriad (heart, kidney, brain, gal bladder, etc.) issues and our stress level was high, to say the least. Rose was patient, kind, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable.When our dad was finally ready for discharge, Rose arranged for an independent nurse evaluator to determine his care needs. She then set up zoom meetings between us, our dad, and three different adult family homes that were within his modest budget for Medicaid spend-down. All three were wonderful and the one our dad picked was absolutely perfect!The adult family home gave my dad a beautiful room (which they let us decorate before move-in with his personal belongings so he felt at home). Rose found a home that had a walk-up bedroom window for us to visit with our dad in a contact-free environment, which was incredibly important to him. The home, because it is small, also allowed him to watch tv, play games, cook, eat, and visit with the other residents, which is not allowable in larger facilities during the pandemic. This ensured his spirits stayed high, especially during the holidays and long winter months.Right after his move-in in August, our dad called me and said, “This place is great! They make my bed while I’m at breakfast! It’s like living on a cruise ship!” He has lost weight (he needed to), gained strength, improved his blood sugars, and looks 10 years younger than when he moved in. He was even able to walk two blocks to the ballot box to drop off his ballot (with us masked, walking near him and while using his walker) to vote in November! He is happier than I have seen him in years and I could not have navigated this process (or gotten my dad to trust in it) without Rose’s guidance, expertise, and patience!Rose worked tirelessly to help my family find my dad a place where he would be happy and she truly is an angel in my eyes!Thank you Rose and Concierge Care!

I was a bit hesitant to use Concierge Care Advisors initially, but I lived in another state and was trying to find a niece assisted living facility for my 86 year old aunt in the Sea Tac area where she could be close to her friends and enjoy the remaining days of her life. Vannah Rose Roberto was the absolute best! She always went above and beyond what I asked from her. I started talking to Vannah before arriving in Seattle and continued nearly daily conversations or texts for over 6 weeks until my Aunt was moved from Stafford Rehabilitation facility into the Chateau @Valley in Renton, WA where my aunt was able to received additional nursing care.Vannah listened carefully to what my family wanted and offered multiple options for care. She even notified us when she had to be away over a weekend and turned us over to another individual for her time away. Even then she said not to hesitate to call or text her as needed. She also assisted with communication between the two facilities. She was a great resource and helped guide us along the process which we were new to.We loved Chateau @ Valley and all the workers there, but unfortunately my aunt only lived for ten days after being transferred from Stafford Rehab Facility where she had declined over three weeks and neither Vannah or family were allowed to see her until a few days before her discharge from their facility.I would highly recommend Concierge Care and Vannah. I worked with Brenda to find an Adult Family Home for my 96 year old mother. She was extremely helpful throughout the process, which was all new to me. In addition to helping me assess homes that met our criteria and financial needs, she offered help about equipment and care once Mom was discharged from the rehab facility. Because she has done this many times, she was aware of benefits that are there, but about which I would not necessarily have known. Especially during the Covid pandemic, I do not know how I would have been able to find a place close to me in such a short amount of time.

Erin had people go in and talk to him as she did also so she could see for herself what i was dealing with. at every turn in this process she was there to help. i would not have been able to do all of this with out her help.

Our advisor was lovely to work with, but promised a much higher level of service (“concierge-level planning “) than what was actually delivered. When I told her we had previously used A Place for Mom when searching for my in-laws, she said, “Oh we have a much different experience. We hold your hand through the whole process from finding a place to the moving in.” We never heard from her after the phone call I made to her to tell her which of the three homes she showed us we were choosing. And I suppose that would have been fine if it wasn’t a case of ‘over promising and under delivering.’ The brochure states, “*Aid with a smooth transition. *Follow-up to make sure all needs are met”. The only follow-up we have received is multiple requests for a review here or on Facebook. Luckily the home we chose is wonderful, and I do thank her for that.

One of the hardest decisions was where to begin to look for a new family home for my mother who has Aphasia, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The Internet was overwhelming! Sylvana was incredible. She found a home for our Father in 2 days. We all thought it would be impossible.
