I didnt really know about acupuncture until a friend told me that I could improve my athletic performance by treating my sports induced asthma with acupuncture. Keri also recommended I start taking Cordyceps (medicinal mushrooms) and its been totally unbelievable to see my lungs actually working for the first time ever. I still use an inhaler before working out but breathing is much less labored and its easier to push myself. Keri is also just a wonderful person and talking to her is like therapy. She really is a wonderful person and also perfect at what she does.

Im almost afraid to write this. Because I dont want Keri to book up and make it more difficult for her existing clients to get in. But I wont be selfish- with more and more of us working from home the aches and pains are real. Ive worked with Keri for years. She is a healer and master acupuncturist. Among other things. I was hesitant to resume treatment because of COVID. But after months of going to PT (first thing in the morning before others are around) I was getting little to no relief from a pinched nerve that was taking over my upper body (back, arm, shoulder, neck, and face). So, you can see why I had to rethink going in to get acupuncture. Keri has revamped how she works in the midst of this pandemic. I actually feel safer at her office than I feel going to PT. If youve been traveling, around large groups, refuse to wear a mask, and engaged in otherwise risky behavior- dont come in. For the sake of us all. But if you are doing everything you can to stay safe and want to see a practitioner who is doing the same- Keri is your person. After a couple of treatments, I have more mobility and less pain on my right side than I have in months. So glad I took a chance and went in for treatment. Thanks, Keri- you really do rock!

Keri Shaw at Blue Pearl is nothing short of amazing!! I have been to several acupuncturists, but once I discovered Kari, I will not go anywhere else! She does a thorough intake and expertly does here work and communicates well. Once she has the needles in, and leaves me to cook, I usually slip into REM sleep within minutes, and wake up feeling more rested than after a full nights sleep. I am also a massage therapist and I send a lot of my patients to her who are at a difficult point in their car accident recovery, and it always helps get them over the hump. Also, her office is beautiful, tranquil, AND right on the water.

I had the opportunity to be attended by the owner of the clinic and my experience was the best possible. She was attentive, kind and efficient. I truly recommend Blue Pearl.

I have been going to Keri for almost 6 years now. I fist met her in 2013 when she treated me for peripheral neuropathy brought on by chemotherapy. She was able to get me using my hands comfortably again in just a couple of treatments. She has also fixed a number of issues that have come up over the years from overdoing it in the garden and tweaking my sciatic to helping me through stress and grief. She seems to know exactly what to do and where to place her lovely needles (which, BTW you dont feel) Im now on a monthly maintenance to keep me working and moving pain free. I also recommend the cupping, GREAT way to get your muscles to let go of tension. I have also sent her a number of friends and patients from my cancer support group and she seems to be able to help everyone Ive sent her. Shes compassionate while being very direct. I highly recommend her.

Keri Shaw is an extremely talented acupuncturist. She gives a fantastic treatment tailored to exactly what you need and is very personable and caring.I have seen her twice so far. Once for extreme neck pain and it was substantially subsided by the end of the treatment with almost full range of motion back.The second time for relaxation and stress relief to which I fell asleep during the treatment.I will definitely be back. Keri is attentive to my needs and considers the body as a whole. Shes been extremely helpful in addressing my neck, back, shoulder pain; relieving stress; and tackling my mild to severe headaches. In addition to treating me, shes a joy to talk to. Although I may not be feeling my best when I arrive, I feel significantly better when I leave. All bodies are different, but in my experience the positive effects of treatment have ranged from a week or longer for pain relief. She is also the best for cupping compared to other acupuncturists in the area. And thankfully she takes my insurance plan.
