I am not a person who likes going to the doctor but was pleasantly surprised with my visit. The staff is friendly and helpful and I was pleased with Dr Nunez. No long wait and he was effecient and very human. My type of Doctor.

Such a pleasant experience by Sandra Sargent and her medical team even with what would be most umcomfortable for me. Sandra was considerate, and immensely knowledgeable. I felt she read me like a book as a woman! The blood draw was also an easy-peasy process. The whole team had incredible bedside manners and were highly professional! The website of this office really makes appointment setting and Healthcare status check a Breeze!

This was my initial visit and the purpose was to establish myself with Dr. Michael Nunez as my primary care physician. everyone I came in contact with from the time I entered their office was friendly, respectful and very professional. I was presented with some paperwork to complete , after which I was taken to an exam room.by Dr. Nunezs assistant. My wait time was only a few minutes pat my scheduled appointment time. Following his assistant taking my vitals Dr. Nunez entered the room and introduced himself. We chatted for a time about my medical history and he administered a check of my pulmonary and heart. Dr. Nunez was also very friendly, respectful, professional and he demonstrated concern for my well being. I felt very much at ease talking with him and he provided very adequate time to explore my medical status. He left me with he impression that he was genuinely interested and concerned about my general heath and well being. I am going to enjoy having him as my primary care physician.

Very friendly environment. Dr. Nunez was very thorough with his questions and evaluation. Because this was my first visit with the clinic, he asked and offered some tests that were not done for over 10 years like colonoscopy and tetanus shot .I recently changed my primary doctor because of the very reason that my previous doctor just wanted to do what I asked for. I was looking for a doctor who would be proactive than reactive. Also, the fact that you can get blood work done within the clinic is a plus. I do not have to go to an outside lab. Thank you!

I visited this office awhile ago and i’m happy there is a spot where I can finally review. I wish I could give zero stars. Two hour wait. Rude front desk staff. I communicated to the Dr Nunez about my long wait and instead of being empathetic he got mad at me for not being patient. He was then rough with the way he touched me during the check up. He criticized me and said my ears were so dirty that he couldn’t see and used a device to push water through. The way he did it was painful. He seemed to enjoy taking revenge on me.

!!!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT recommend Dr. Nunez! My boyfriend has lived with asthma his whole life and currently needs a refill on his inhaler. SO HE CAN BREATH! This dr nenez dude asked for my boyfriend to schedule an appointment to go in to see him, risking the spread of Covid-19 not just to him but the entire staff and future patients!!!! My boyfriend was fortunately able to make a video call to speak to another doctor with in minutes and was instantly prescribed his medication that he needs TO BREATH!!!! Having a patient come in for a medication they absolutely need to be able to LIVE and billing insurance was more important than Re-prescribing it via phone call!!!! SHADY SHADY DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going at doctors Nunez for over a decade now and the staff is great. I travel 70 miles round trip from Gilbert and its all good. The only thing is, you would think after a decade of writing my name on their check in sheet they would call out my name correctly. Again yesterday they both called me Michael when my name is Michel. Dr. Nunez is a caring doctor. He discussed my health issues at length and provided consultation during my annual check up visit . As we discussed he offered medical advice on many points. I just switched to Grayhawk Medical Group from another practice that I had been going to for over 20 years because all of my Nurse practioners and Physician Assistants have left, so I went to Grayhawk Medical Group to see Sandy Sargent who I use to see years ago who is there now. I was in and out with no wait. She is very caring. Listened to my needs and had me on my way. So glad I made the switch. I used to wait a minimum of 1/2 hour - and hour to get in. I know I made the right choice. Glad I made the switch and in the right hands.

Worse Dr ever! Doesn’t want to listen to his patients who know their body better than anyone, this doctor likes to argue with his patients and is unresponsive in listening to them. He is far from a holistic Dr.He forgets his patients hired him to work for us and we pay his Wages......it’s not the other way around.Don’t waste your time! Seek Naturopathic treatment - it’s the way to go.

New Patient here,I must say, the older I get the more I realize how sometimes the medical community can be insensitive towards its patients, and unfortunately Ive had the need to jump from Provider to Provider until I finally meet a doctor who listens to me.Dr. Nunez definitely was listening, and also educated me. Right from the bat he ordered some tests and listened to all my concerns and I appreciate that. Had doctors in the past that either arent listening, brush off my concerns due to pre-existent conditions and assume its the cause despite me telling them Ive been experiencing something different and new, or even felt rush out from the office so they can get to the next patient.Totally felt the whole opposite with Dr. Nunez. Staff were so nice and friendly. In this world, unfortunately a lot of people have lost understanding what is to have basic kindness, empathy and active listening. As soon as I came in from that door after they took my temperature (good precaution), it was welcoming, the nurse and the ladies at the front desk had a good positive attitude. Place was tidy and clean. I look forward to see Dr. Nunez and his staff from now on for my medical needs and concerns.

Dr. Nunez has been my primary care physician for the past 12 years and this should say much with the kind of health care Ive been provided. If I have recommended him to several number of co-workers, friends and relatives -this should give one the comfort level provided by a health professional.

This is the WORST doctors office Ive ever encountered. So disorganized. Office visit for 3 medication refills, two were submitted, but for the other one it was like pulling teeth to get them to submit and it was just blood pressure medication. Plus he only gave me one refill (this is blood pressure medication and previous doctors offices have given me at least 6 months worth). So I had my pharmacy fax in a request to refill and pharmacy is saying no response from their office and its been at least 5 business days. Also, keep getting auto calls to call and schedule an appointment after I had just had one. What do they want you to do come in every month for a follow-up. I would say thats overkill. I would call it money grubbing.

As always they go above and beyond to take care of their patients and it shows. Many thanks to Diana in the office who always helps me and Sandy.. You guys Rock

New paitent. So I accidentally booked this office instead of the north scottsdale womens care (big mistake), the check up and visit seemed pretty routine. I thought it was strange though that the front staff were wearing masks but the people in the back werent but regardless. The visit i thought was pretty easy until I received my bill and asking help to rectify was a nightmare. Someone made a comment earlier about trying to work with them to adjust a bill code ( i was too but I was just taking the advice of my insurance company) and expressed her poor experience and they were not lying. I would not recommend. Another uneasy thought was Diana the receptionist stated they do not have secure/encrypted services but when I was there they had me email them my medical info. Never have I left an office regretting so many decisions.

Down to earth caring staff

My family and I have been using Grayhawk Medical Group for about 6 or 7 years now. The staff there are all nice and welcoming. We all see Brenda regularly but over the years have seen Dr Nunez as well as other Nurse Practitioners and they are all very attentive and professional. Even get blood drawn in the office saving a trip to a lab for blood or urine tests. If they were not as good as they are we wouldnt be long term patients.

I have been going to this facility for 20 years. They are amazing! I felt very safe and well taken care of today, especially with all the COVID concerns.

Just moved to the area, and it was nice to see that Dr Nunez leaves openings for new patients. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Its nice to see a family practice!!!

Paul Strauss is the quintessential medical professional. Paul is observant and his medical education and experience permits him to diagnose with a very high degree of accuracy, in all medical areas. He is excellent at knowing when and to whom he should refer his patients, so that the best and most expedient form of treatment can be rendered. Paul also has the type of personality that is both sympathetic as well as professional. And I have always found, after being a patient for over 15 years, that a visit to Paul always put my mind at rest in my healthcare maintenance.

Received several appointment reminders which is good! Staff is efficient and happy. Diana was very nice. Dr. Nunez took time with me and, as a new patient, that’s always wonderful. I believe I’m in good hands. He’s a bright man.

Great experience for my first time visit. I went in for hip pain and Paul Strauss took his time , asking questions on my injury and providing knowledge and information . Second time appointment for a physical checkup, arrived on time, nurse took vitals, then I waited and waited. I waited for over an hour for Doctor Nunez to show up. I mean they have no regard for peoples time. Finally I decided to leave. I mean, you have to respect peoples time just like i showed respect by getting there on time. The lady at the front desk asked if i wanted to reschedule or cancel. uhm, why would i reschedule just so I can wait another hour to see the doggone doctor. Oh and she asked if I had already paid the copay? No...I received no service so you dont get to bill me!

Been a patient of Dr. Nunez for over 10 years and have always received the best service. He takes time with you and actually listens, unlike most doctors out there. Highly recommend him and his practice.

This office prefers to have you pay the bill instead of Covered visits by simply calling for coding as requested by my insurance. I have full UHC coverage and they said clearly my visit is Covered and asked them to just call to get Coding I had a virtual visit and Medicare says yes its covered now Im stuck having to turn claim in myself

Although I was seen 30 minutes after my appointment time, Dr. Nunez spent a good amount of time with me. He examined me and prescribed the necessary medication. He is always pleasant and attentive.

I felt safe going to Dr. Nunez office during Covid-19 times. Had my temperature taken before entering and hand sanitizer available, and all wearing face masks.

I had my yearly physical and Sandy was very thorough. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

They charged my visit incorrectly. After they assured me one test was prevention but they put us as diagnosis when I don’t suffer from anything or have an illness. I just went for an annual physical exam so we aware of this people....I was told this by my insurance who was kind to speak with me about it. In addition The assistant Diane called me to say my test results were fine but they were NOT (I got them as well) and I had stuff completely outside of normal range cholesterol etc... a caring doctor and office would have notice this. They probably did not even check the results. They ignore you and don’t call you back they just leave a voice email and ignore you after that. The worst service they also put you on hold forever and never pick up. After the first visit ..been a first time patient ...they send you an email asking you for a review on google I am so glad I waited to see if they were going to call me back in regards to my blood test results. First time in my life a medical assistant or doctor don’t call back or answer. This is unacceptable because my test results were not fine.

With the pandemic still around, good precautions are taken to protect staff and patients. It looks safe to go to consult with Dr Nunez

Really like Dr. Nunez and staff. They have a very organized front office. Schedules run on time. Dr. Nunez seems up-to-date on current trends and info. Hes polite, professional and listens well. Seems like a really good guy who cares about patient health and wellbeing. I also like the ability to schedule appointments online with him or with his assistant if you need to get in quickly.
