Extremely professional, courteous, kind, and caring. I was very impressed with the manager, staff, and volunteers. The site is kept organized and cleaned; they really care about their clients. I highly recommend.

Hunkapi brings youths together along with horses in a ranch type setting to work on emotional issues.

I am a teen who goes here and I love it I didnt want to go at first but then I gave it a try and it brought joy to me right away I cant tell you how much it change my life and Ive been through a lot probably nothing you can imagine but Hunkapi had me realized that I am here in this world for reason. THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE! This is truly an amazing place! My wife of 16 yrs was diagnosed with cancer. Through another awesome foundation my two boys have been given the opportunity to spend a couple hours a week here. For them it is so awesome to be able to forget about the day to day and be kids! They learn, they love, and they get to be in the moment! Thank you to all the staff! You have made a tremendous impact on the healing and mental state for my boys! THANK YOU with all my heart!

Tara and her crew are some of the most thoughtful, caring and dedicated people in all of Arizona. Their love for humanity and animals is a gift from heaven for you and your loved ones who need their services. The farm is safe, well-maintained and wide open to create a feeling of utopia. AMAZING, just AMAZING!

I gave three stars because the office is just not well organized. I would call and tell one person something and then get in trouble or penalized for it later because that one person did not note it in my chart. I had at the end asked to be discharged from the program due to the drive out there and being unable to attend due to chronic pain, and I get a phone call the next week that Im being removed due to too many absences which Im sure will keep me from being able to reenter the program in the future. Extremely frustrating and annoying. I wish they had better communication.

Such a lovely place!

Only just beginning, but my daughter absolutely loved the staff, horses, pig, and dogs. The staff, esp. Heather are so patient and helpful.The Google page when searched for, indicates this is a horse riding school or stables. That is not the primary function. Hunkapi is an equine/animal therapy facility for youth.

Took my boys there for Christmas activities.Absolutely awesome ! Horse rides, scavenger hunt, drum tepee, Santa, smores, decorate cookies, food !!!You made my boys Xmas one they will remember !The volunteers were great & so was staff.Thank you for an amazing end to our Christmas day !

Place is awesome with such friendly staff!! Well kept and horses taken care of. Also a wonderful place for equine therapy.

My daughter has special needs and receive services that allow her to come here to receive horseback riding lessons and equine therapy. This place is lovely! Its clean, it smells clean, the staff are amazing with the special needs kids. There is a feeling of support and acceptance and helping these kids to grow as they help to saddle and brush and Lead these horses. I have been to other places for Equine Therapy and no place compares to this one. They have benches and bales of hay that you can sit on and wait while the child rides. There are dogs and pigs and chickens running around. Theres a lovely feeling of being close to Nature even though youre really in the middle of a neighborhood. And again I cant say enough about the staff and their tenderness with the special needs kids as they teach them strengths they didnt know they had.

Wonderful facility, staff and volunteers tirelessly serving the community and genuinely caring for clients, families and the beautiful therapy horses and farm animals that call Hunkapi home. True to their slogan, Love definitely grows there!
