This place is wonderful!!! They r really respectful and understanding. They care for your needs and really listen to what I want. They care for every patient. You feel at home like u have known them your whole life. My treatments have been great!! It really helps when they r so helpful and r they for all your needs. It really helps make your treatment go by and helps to make I very comfortable. I give them 10 stars if I could!!

Our opinion - My wife began treatment here, but moved to Maine Health Cancer Care. I attended all appointments with my wife and all of my observations are first hand.Dr. Dugans response to questions ran from dismissive to condescending. He is a smirker. My wife became aware of his diagnosis of her condition by reading her test results online, not from him, and there was not concurrence of his diagnosis from her current oncologist.Scheduling of urgent tests and procedures were often delayed, or referrals were made to a specialist who was on vacation or to a facility with that could not provide the intended service for an extended period of time. Constant burden on my wife or myself to expedite or find alternatives.NECS overall is impersonal and, in some ways disrespectful. Three to four patients, male and female in the same room during infusion; no privacy.People at the desk signing in? Consistently one very courteous and professional, one rude and obnoxious. We are currently trying to sort out billing issues with our insurance company where were were charged a copay as seeing a specialist doctor when only an infusion managing nurse was present.We were left with the sense that NECS manages a rout process when treating cancer patients that at times has little to do with the individual patient.A change to Maine Health Cancer Care and a different oncologist and organization has proven to be a night and day difference, confirming all of our concerns with NECS.

The entire treatment team here is top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and above all.. caring. When I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer I asked for the same Oncologist my Mum had 17 years ago because of the outstanding care she received. Dr. Weisberg has done so much in the past years since my Mums treatment..I am fortunate to be receiving the same wonderful care. MMC and NECI cannot be beat for their medical care!
