Staff uses withdrawal to enforce compliance regardless of your behavior. I am happy to spend an extra $200 month and go daily instead of weekly to get away from these piece of trash. Also the methadone is weak substitute according to my drugstream. Drug dealers and other shady types hang around.

This place saved my life and I love everyone that works there

This place has its ups and downs service wise. Many times pertinent policy changes will be implemented without any forewarning. This often results in the patient being on the wrong end of the situation in regards to the ramifications incurred as a result of these changes. Furthermore the resulting complaints from patients often causes a reversal of the policy leading to further confusion & uncertainty.

I was a client at the Sarasota clinic for several years before I moved to South Dakota. As a side note, always check to make sure that you will have good access to a clinic if you move- So.Dak. has one clinic in the state, and several states have NO CLINICS. Florida has them everywhere, and PAR Sarasota is the very best. I have guess dosed at 8 other Florida clinics and none compare to the overall excellence of PAR. I am moving back to Sarasota soon and look forward to transferring back to PAR.

My experience with this place was the absolute worst experience Ive EVER had Ive been with the M.A.T. program for about 3yrs the dosing nurses were narcissist they always accused me of being under the influence and would not give me my dose I was just starting there was extremely Ill not high and couldnt get any better because theyd refuse me my medication. They treated me like I was on probation standing IN the bathroom staring at you while you did your urine screen I felt like my privacy was violated she had no right. Then they think they have the right to count medications that are not even prescribed by them it was ridiculous I wouldnt take my dog to that place although maybe hed get better treatment than I did

While the program has been beneficial for a loved one, and the first counselor was good, the second one - not so much. There have been times when the lines are out the door or the clinic doesnt open on time. People who go there have other commitments which they must get to on time. If they are short staffed and arent opening on time, they could text or do an auto-call so people will know in advance. You are charged whether you show up or not, regardless of reason. If you are sick or contagious, show up anyway or you have to pay. Where does that money go? Using insurance was discouraged. If you decide to do this, your life will be on hold because you have to go daily with the exceptions of holidays or staff retreats. They also request financial information that isnt pertinent regarding your treatment. A lot of it is very strange. People from all walks of life and a wide variety of circumstances go there for help. It is a viable option to check out if you need treatment and dont want to be admitted to rehab.

I recently moved and unfortunately I was told to transfer to operation PAR. Before I give my review I would like to note that I have been clean off illicit opiates for over 3 years and operation PAR put all that hard work into jeopardy. If you have a loved one that you really care about dont send them here. The ladies at the front are nice but if you get the nurse in the middle window you will be treated poorly. Im proud to say after all this place has done to me Im still clean but it is very hard. This is the hardest time Ive had in my recovery because of this money grab disguised as a treatment facility. I was with my last doctor for 4 years before coming here without any issues. Unfortunately I moved not knowing the nightmare that awaited me.

At first when I went to Parr they were amazing to me. But sense I have a higher tolerance then most Ive been sick everyday for 2 weeks Ive been there. (not to mention Im 6 1/2 months pregnant) i have explained to them how I feel, in tears and they told me they wont do anything else for me for another week, so me being anger I asked what am I suppose to do then go get a pill so Im not sick and get kicked out and the directors response was No we wont kick you out ... Not even hang in there a couple days, they pretty much told me go ahead and get high till we feel we want to up your dose. In the beginning they were amazing dont get me wrong, the staff is wonderful but if you want to go to Par to NOT be dopa sick DONT GO .. but if you want to be high and nod out like 75% of their clients, then Par is the place for you!

WE LOVED THIS CLINIC! WE RECENTLY MOVED TO NORTHERN CENTRAL FLORIDA AND ARE ATTENDING A DIFFERENT CLINIC, WE MISS THE STAFF & HOW THE CLINIC WAS RUN IN GENERAL. THEY ARE (OR WERE) FAMILY ORIENTED WHEN WE WENT THERE. FOR EXAMPLE, THEY SELL SNACKS & DRINKS AT THE FRONT DESK, AND PROCEEDS FROM THE SALES GO TOWARDS A CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FUND FOR ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE PEOPLE ATTENDING THE CLINIC. AT CHRISTMAS TIME THEY LET ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE PEOPLE ATTENDING THE CLINIC, PICK A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. THEY WERE SMALL GIFTS, BUT IT WAS THE POINT THAT COUNTED. THE CLINIC WE ATTEND NOW DOESNT DO THAT AND RUN THEIR CLINIC TOTALLY DIFFERENT & MOST OF THE STAFF (NOT ALL, BUT MOST) ARE REAL JERKS (PUTTING IT NICELY). WE REALLY MISS THE STAFF. TO ALL THOSE THINKING OF ATTENDING THIS CLINIC....IF YOU TRUELY WANT HELP GETTING OFF WHATEVER YOUR DRUG OF CHOICE IS, THAN THIS CLINIC IS THE BEST CLINIC IVE BEEN TO. IVE GUEST DOSED AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT CLINICS IN FLORIDA & GEORGIA, AND PAR IS THE BEST BY FAR! IF YOUR INTENTIONS ARE TO GET A CHEAP OR FREE HIGH, THAN THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR YOU! IT IS DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE THAT WANT HELP LIVING AN ADDICTION FREE LIFE. AND FOR THOSE PLANNING ON USING THIS CLINIC AS A CHEAP/FREE HIGH, PLEASE DONT DO IT! YOU COULD BE TAKING A PERSONS PLACE THAT TRUELY WANTS HELP. I came to the Sarasota location for help. The first day everyone is very nice, helpful, and sympathetic. After they received their $168 for the intake everything changed. This place is like Dr. Jeckal and Mr. Hide. Im not even treated like a human here. I havent been able to see a councillor for weeks. Ive never seen one so im not sure if I even have a councillor. I have PTSD and Major Depression Disorder so the way Im treated by the nurses and doctors has me anxious and scared to even walk in their door. I have to build up confidence before I go. Since being here all my symptoms from addiction, PTSD, and Major Depression have increased a lot because of this place. I never had any trouble at the two treatment facilities i went to before. I will give them a chance to help me and if they do make an effort I will change my review. The ladies at the front are nice though. Please help me Operation PAR i dont have money to switch to another program. I dont want to cry myself to sleep and have nightmares about war anymore. My PTSD was well maintained until this place shook my whole life up.

Operation PAR is available to treat opiate addiction regardless of whether you are looking to dose down,eventually becoming methadone free...or as a maintenance program. Ive visited the Bradenton,Ft.Meyers,as well as Port Charlotte clinic and have never once been treated poorly or inconsiderately in any way. Now accepting Medicaid insurance has saved my life and drastically changed my lifestyle in almost every way,but only because I chose to use their program in a responsible manner. As with everything else available to assist addicts,it only works as well as the patient choses it to work. For those who want a better,more positive future....this clinic can truly assist you in doing so. The clinic is there to offer you the opportunity. How you chose to use it is totally up to you. As for me, Im eternally grateful...as is my family after seeing the changes in me.My husband finally found the woman he married again and my children have their mother to care for them every moment of the day.

Im very concerned we never as a family were never spoken to by a councellor!my daughter is so impaired on methadone its just like before with street drugs , she has been violent and disruptive at home and her counselor told her our relationship is irreparable ! Are you kidding me ! My daughter tells her side of life and no one verifies the truth she has them all fooled and i have fought for my daughter through her addiction and love her so and her drug behavior is tormenting us ! Her counselor is a disappointment ! she doesnt go to meetings and they dont seem to care, i sit and watch the people going for methadone treatment and they roll out of cars in a disheveled manner with bedroom slippers mismatched clothes sucking down coffee and cigarettes in front of the no smoking sign! No sign of recovery anywhere, they are legal addicts who made no changes, just maintaining to not get sick , this program is missing many components of real treatment ! They unknowingly condone awful behavior of my daughter and i got one visit i begged for with her counselor and i was not heard and guilt tripped for not doing more, funny she had no idea how the last five years have been ! They lack a comprehensive program thats for sure. a broken family member just trying to improve treatment

Wish I had started the program years ago!!! Literally one of the best decision I have ever made, only wish my obgyn doctors didnt judge me so badly an threaten my chances of raising this baby! They say uts DCF approved clinic but the TRUTH is that unless u hAve $$ with a good lawyers, cHances are that dcf is chomping at the bit to take ur rights away from u an put ur child in foster care, even if you are in a treatment plan an have parenting certificates. Dcf will stop at nothing to take ur babys away forevermore! ! Tryst me I know it all too WELL. ... Mommy loves you coken Jordan. love manq
