Ive been in different locations for FPA and so far this place is one of the best. The nurses are very nice and seems they genuinely care. I have very small veins and when I go anywhere else to draw blood they poke me at least 4 or 5 times leaving me with bruises.. unfortunately I forgot the names but they were so delicate and got my vein at the second painless try and no bruises at all!! I will definitely use only this location from now on.

I made an appointment here awhile back for a surgical abortion. I showed up early in the morning and ended up being the last patient to leave that night. A certain machine they needed ended up breaking which led to waiting about two hours to get a new machine into the building. I had no problem waiting but things started going down hill when I was placed in a room with other women waiting in our gown and hair caps. After hours of sitting in that room I sat there watching every other patient get called in to get the same procedure done before me (even when my appointment was early in the morning.) time goes by and it’s down to one patient and myself left and as we sat there freezing (we kept going in and out of the room just to run our hands under warm water in the bathroom) the girl I was waiting with ended up getting called before me because she left the room about two times to complain about how long the wait was. At some point I had to ask the front counter if they had any blankets for us and the best they had was sheets that felt like table cloths. I was very lucky I had a long drive to this appointment and brought a blanket from home. (Aside from all that) every single person in that building was so sweet. I took a pill that dissolved in my mouth and then got placed in a room where about 5 women did the procedure on me. They kept track of my breathing and had me lay back on the bed/chair. I didn’t feel a single pinch or anything when they gave me a shot. The whole process was 2 minutes the most. I had a women (I think her name was rose) was saying kind words keeping me calm and I think grabbed my hand for support. When I was in the middle of getting worked on I could tell something went wrong because half of them gasped and I tried to look towards my legs to see what happened but failed because of the position I was in (as I laid back down they noticed I was worried so they said they dropped something but I’m pretty sure that was a lie.) after the process I was rolled away on the bed into another room and just laid there for I think about 30 min until I got released to go home. As I was laying there the women were so surprised I had no reaction or felt like throwing up since your usually supposed to feel sick after. (I was sick every day/second since I found out I was pregnant but once I was done with the process I felt better instantly & only threw up from motion from being in a car.) but once my time was up I got dressed and the lady held my arm and walked me out to my car. I recommend this place to anyone who might be scared or uncomfortable because of young age and I recommend to bring your own blanket and wear warm clothes.

Great staff at the Santa Ana location. They answered all my questions and my check ups are always quick yet very thorough. Also, it’s really helpful to be able to schedule appointments online.

The office was very nice and calming. The workers and Doctor were amazing, extremely nice, and felt very comfortable. Just a great experience overall, definitely would go again and recommend this place!

I love this place, Ive gotten a Nexplanon removal here, IUD insert and removal and every time they have been super friendly, quick, and they truly have the best staff. Unlike locations in LA, this location always has Sunday availability!

I’ve been going to this clinic for years and the staff is friendly and attentive. However every time I make an appointment I end up waiting an hour and a half until I’ve been seen.The ladies in the room waiting with me felt the same way. I understand they may be low on staffing or whatever reason, but that should be let known to us that way we can adjust our schedule accordingly. Again, love the staff!

I got scheduled for a iud Removal (5 min procedure) at 12pm I thought I would need the take 1-2 hours off of work tops.I checked in early and I had to wait over 1.5 hours in the lobby. Finally they took me back, checked my info and made me wait another 2 hours in the patient lobby.No one notified that this overall wait time would take around 4 hours. I didn’t have lunch since I didn’t think this would take so long. I could have at least brought a snack or water if I knew. I asked if they over book appointment times or if they are short on staff, they said not at all. Then what’s with the wait time?Finally the nurse practitioner saw me and she made me feel very rushed, I had to slow her down just so I can ask a few questions prior to the procedure (Again I waited for 3.5+ hours to be seen) She poked around real quick and suddenly said I’ll need surgery. I was a bit shocked and wanted to know more info, she just said “you’ll need to get sedated/anesthesia and have the doctor take it out, the staff will schedule it for you” and then walked out. So as I’m talking to the staff I’m asking what’s the issue why do I need a surgery, the staff kept saying she doesn’t know so I asked her to please find out.Long story short after asking basic questions that I would need to know, and 2 trips to managers office she told me what the issue was and that I’ll need to be put to sleep to get this procedure done. I left.The day before surgery I realized no one gave me any instructions on what to expect day of and that I needed to fast. I called myself to get that info. I just think that is very unprofessional and negligent from their side.I’m writing this review now as I waiting 2.5 hours now to be seen, I’ve been fasting for almost 24 hrs from water/food and they are just taking their sweet time. Or just have terrible time management. Oh one more thing when I checked in I got paperwork for abortion consent which is not what I came in for 🤦🏼‍♀️Apart from that, most of the staff was very nice but Very disappointed in this clinic and how things are run.

My wife and I came to her appointment 12pm. We were dined service because we had forgotten our face masks. We are both covid-19 vaccinated. We kindly asked if they could provide us with a complentary mask and got denied again because they ran out and told my pregnant wife and I to go buy one if want to get seen today and helped. This was told to us by the Supervisor at that time and the front desk lady. This is very unprofessional especially because my wife is pregnant and has an ectopic pregnancy. I am so baffled by the rudeness and service provided to us by these two people! If they do not like working where they are at maybe the should find a new profession because this is not the place for that type of attitude.

I went to the Santa Ana location. My appointment was at 8am. I was out of there in about an hour and I didnt have to wait very long at all. They helped me sign up for a medical green card because I didnt have health insurance. Everyone was very polite and professional. I even backed out of getting my blood drawn and they respected my decision. I went in for an annual exam, the process wasnt painful. Very pleasant experience.

They refuse to provide me service because I didnt have a mask. I asked the front thats politely to provide me a complimentary face mask but she did not. I was waiting for almost 3 hours for my IUD removal and insertion. The doctor was not explaining the procedure and didnt give me any information.

Olivia is an amazing receptionist. Very friendly and kept me updated on my wait time. I love that they still were able to see me after I was 32 min late due to a car accident. I love this place and will continue to come here

Understandably the place has low staff right now. Expect your waiting time to be extremely long though. Even if you have been here before and have an appointment I waited for 4 hours to do a simple routine visit. At max it should have taken an hour total on a busy day even with short staff. I waited so long that I had to leave to get home to feed my newborn baby and come back the next day with an appointment still to finish the rest of the appointment steps and again had a 4 hour visit with them. The staff are amazing as always, they are so understanding and caring and I would recommend anyone to go here. This can be a very difficult place to have to go to, they are supportive and helpful and make you feel safe and good. They do excellent work and are very knowledgeable. The wait times right now are very excessive though. 💜

Everyone was super helpful and professional. When my insurance didn’t cover my visit, they provided other options and ended up being able to get my iud for free! FPA is my new go to

The Phlebotomist did a great job drawing blood from me; it didnt hurt at all. Everyone was kind and helpful.

Let me just say that the woman working front desk( who’s name I can’t remember) wasn’t very nice to me at all. However , the woman who gave me my medical insurance options and questionnaire was one of the nicest women I’ve ever met.

Staff and office are very caring, considerate and helpful. Under the current conditions of California, it was refreshing to find such a clean and efficient office. Anna was wonderful and took great care in comforting me as well as answering all questions and concerns I had. Will highly recommend this office for all womens needs.

They have an issue with sticking to the appointment. Every time my appointment were 8am or 8:15am. I came in when they open and never got to see the doc or nurse before 9:15. And they open at 8, so there is no patients before me. If you care about your time, then go to another location.

My experience was great. This was my first time and during my visit, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe. Everyone was compassionate and courteous. Social distancing and cleanliness were in effect which was a relief being this was my first doctor appointment since the Covid-19 outbreak everywhere. The timing of my appointment was also great. My initial appointment was just under two hours (but didn’t feel like two hours). I was busy with staff the entire time doing paperwork, labs, down to my final exam. Everything ran smoothly. I was very satisfied with my initial visit and will gladly return to FHP Women’s Health!

This is my favorite doctor. I have my primary care doctor at this location location since 2016. I had a horrible experience with Planned Parenthood with being given the wrong IUD by a gynecologist at the Victorville location when I was by 16. I was so happy to finally find a doctor that helped me manage my health concerns.

Honestly they were really professional and kind.The girl up front was very nice and welcoming also the one that took me to the back to get my insurance was very kind and the practitioner as well I suck at names but they all seem nice. Very professional , made me feel comfortable.

The service and care was excellent and fast, however, the wait for doctor was too long. I had appointment at 2.15 but by the time I got to see doctor was 3pm. There were 2 waiting areas. I was checked in quickly but I was put to wait inside for 45 min. I hope the wait could be shorter next time I visit!!! Love the dr..Thank you

Very clean, nice staff, no wait!I loved my experience at FPA Women’s Health, I felt very safe and in good hands! Just went in for a “women’s check up” and was in and out within 30 minutes!

The Nurse Practitioner was so sweet and gentle with me. I would return to this location because of her.

I can’t explain enough how terrible this entire establishment is. I came in, took a urine test & the doctor had came in and said I tested positive for an infection (within a few minutes). I find out results take a minimum of a week so I was given someone else’s results. I took antibiotics for it 3 times for a false diagnosis. I waited almost 4 hours to be seen. It’s not worth it coming here I promise. They are rude, unprofessional and just Overall not good health care workers.

Is there a doctor in the house??! No there isnt. Nurse practitioner and staff are all extremely unqualified. I went to a follow up appointment for a termination I had done. They did an ultrasound and told me everything was looking good and normal and to not be concerned about the clotting that I had just asked them about. They were wrong. The clotting not only got worse but I ended up in the ER needing emergency surgery, in and out of consciousness, and lost so much blood that I needed several bags of blood pumped back into my system! I cant believe these people nearly killed me. My recommendation is not to go here or if u do be aware/in tune with your body..you know your body the best.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for checkups or screenings or birth control. Every single person that works here genuinely cares and makes sure your needs are met and you feel properly taken care of. Every little concern is addressed and looked into. Made an appointment through their website instead...well see how it goes.UPDATE: I arrived about 10 minutes early. Was given paperwork to fill and I was called in shortly after. Between the assistants and the nurse practitioner, I was in and out in about 1.5 hours. Everyone was nice and professional, and the nurse answered all my questions. Had no problems and I would definitely recommend them... just make your appointment online instead of calling!

This Womens Clinic is very well Staffed with great attitude very friendly. Made an appointment & everything was quick. Very Helpful staff as well. The cleanliness of this place is great! Make U feel welcomed.

The person who saw me seemed friendly, but very impatient and just wanted to get the meeting over with. She would answer my questions, but would give short and curt replies. Once it was over she quickly left, but before the door even closed she shouted Next! Into the hallway. Never coming back here again. I wish I would have taken the posted reviews more seriously.

The nurses are amazing and so are the doctors. The reasons women go here are when they have to make tough choices and they know how to handle it. All the nurses made me so comfortable and when I was cold (Rose) my awesome nurse filled hot water in glove tied it and gave it to me. She improvised and it made me very emotional.The only thing that I didn’t like was when I called they didn’t let me talk to the nurse practitioner that I had seen the day before. They finally did but it took way too much time. I mean if I am your patient and if she is available, they should let me talk to her.Other than that very nice staff and care. Will make you comfortable as much as they can.

I called and made an appointment for a Sunday. I gave them all my information ahead of time (insurance etc). I went in at my appt time and spent 15 minutes filling out paperwork etc which I expected. Then the receptionist called me up and said that since it was a Sunday they couldnt verify my insurance information.Im not sure why they didnt check my coverage when I gave it to them during the week but they didnt. They refused to see me. The receptionist suggested I just go see my general physician for my annual appointment unless I qualify for their free services which I know I dont. Dont you think I would have done that if I had a regularDoctor?? Also I needed to be seen asap for various reasons.So are they going to pay me for wasting my time? No. Are they going to pay my babysitter since they dont allow kids in the office and I scheduled someone to watch my kids during this time? No. They didnt even offer to reschedule my appointment, which I wouldnt do anyway at this place. What a waste of time. I could have found a professional office and not wasted an entire week that I needed this appointment just to be told they wouldnt see me. If they had done their job and called the insurance during the week they could have just seen me. It sounds like they didnt really want to considering the receptionist suggested I just go to my regular doctor, whoever that is.

I was scared about my situation...Made a very easy appointment online..which sends email and text reminders and was confident cuz I hate making callsHad a 12:50 appointment...and was seen very quickly. So there was no wait with the exception paper work.Had blood taken...and they did a painless job and made it quick. Did everything else very quick and thorough as well. Every single employee was nice and welcomingMy at home procedure was a breeze too.

Staff was nice but I spent a really long time waiting. Appointment was at 9:10 and wasn’t seen until about 10:45. Make sure you don’t have plans for a few hours to accommodate the wait.

Extremelly unprofessional. Very rude personal, no one seems to want to do their job. Lazy and not helpful at all. Do yourself a favor and look for a better place to go.

I went in for a medical abortion; however, the first time I took the pills, the pills didnt really work, so I had to repeat the process. I was told 3 times by the nurse that the abortion was complete. 3 weeks later after bleeding severely, I went in to the emergency , and I was told that I had an incomplete abortion. I had surgery to remove the rest of the pregnancy/ tissue. In my opinion , the clinic is unprofessional and the staff doesnt have the education background to work in the medical filed. Please seek medical attention somewhere else. At this clinic , a Dr will never attend to your medical needs and you will never actually be seen by a Dr. The whole clinic is run by ROP medical assistants. I will be filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against the clinic. Women please seek medical attention somewhere else!

I am grateful that Planned Parenthood referred me to FPA Womens Health. It can get real scary real fast, but this place is here to help you in a respectful and nonjudgmental manner. FPA Womens Health offers contraception, gynecological care, pregnancy testing, prenatal care, abortions, cervical cancer screenings, STI testing and more.ALWAYS better to play it safe, dont be sorry. There is no need to be ashamed or embarrassed. We are all in the same waiting room for the same reason: take care of our bodies and look out for our partners. Counselors are available to educate you about family planning options when you are ready to do so or if you choose not to. Your choice. In the meantime, you can get affordable birth control, pap smears, and STI testing so you can take care of your personal health and whomever you choose to share your body with.You will likely receive care free of charge, or proportional to your income. Who doesnt like free/low-cost services? Therefore, you may see a lot of people in the waiting room. I recommended that you make an appointment. If this is your first time, try to be there at least a half hour ahead of time to fill out all the necessary paperwork. Otherwise, Id arrive 10-15 minutes early.We take places like this for granted; can you afford to pay over $300 for birth control? I sure cant so I will keep my mouth shut and bring a book or a friend for moral support and patiently wait for my turn, because guess what I just saved myself tons of money at a place where I feel comfortable.Customer service is good. Their staff is very informative and attentive. All of my questions are answered. Do NOT be shy to ask questions. The answer will always be No if you dont ask.Lets give these folks more credit...THANK YOU FPA Womens Health!

I go here because thats where my school pays for my birth control. I dislike how I always have to wait 1 hr + to be seen and they one time forgot about me and I had to reschedule after waiting 1.5 hours just for a shot... You get what you pay for, but everytime I come here I prepare snacks and phone charger. Also, no WiFi.
