I was placed in this hospital as an impatient once. Didn’t really care for it since I stayed for 2 days. There were some pretty amazing souls here who were also patients and I enjoyed the company. Staff is ok, nothing to complain about. Wasnt forced to do any of the daily activities — they were optional. 3 stars because I don’t like staying in mental hospitals in general.

My closest friend had a very traumatizing experience here. He has been suffering from PTSD and Depression for years, and after being taken to Urgent Care, they sent him to the outpatient group program here. He is a frequent marijuana user, and this place does not allow that (you are allowed 3 strikes before they have to dismiss you from the program.) The first time he slipped up, he was honest, was sent to the psychiatrist who basically told him that he had two options: go to the inpatient program instead of outpatient, or leave the program. My friends PTSD includes the fears of being trapped in a place with no escape, so he was pretty much forced to leave the program. Since leaving, he has only gotten worse and more suicidal. I am extremely disappointed. I really thought these people could help and instead they have honestly traumatized him more, and has made recovery seem even more impossible. I regret ever taking him here, and wish we could have gone anywhere else has he now has NO faith in any programs and is now refusing to enter any treatment programs. I am honestly afraid for his life and am alone in helping him since this place pretty much just left him high and dry.

Worse mental health. Dr.Diebel uses a He even wrote scripts for medication yet I am not under his care.ker and is long past being competent. Tonight discharged me saying, You better neve come back. He threw me out because I was polite to both male and female patients. He even wrote scripts for medication knowing that I was nit under his care. Nursing office agrees he should have retired years ago. Moonlights as his day practice on Winchester is faultering.Wpuld you tust a man who can barely move of being competenr? His actions show that his mind is crippled too.
