I Love this place, to do my HW. Have been doing my HW here since 2015. I always had a good experience. However this Spring semester a chunky Asian lady came up to me and asked me to get out bcz I was receiving a call. However everyone else including the front desk people were speaking and laughing very loudly and she only came to tell me. I stepped out to the area were the pharmacy is at, and she followed me and asked me again to leave the building bcz I could not be using the phone there. It really made me feel unwelcome. She didnt even ask nicely both times occurred one after another, and she used a tone of voice that was really authoritative in addition to her facial expressions. The lady looked upset like if I had done something horrible. I didnt see any signs at the door that said we could not take a phone call. Im unsure why they keep workers who are so rood to students there. I could see in the comments there is another person who had issues with this same lady.

Good service for college students! Most of the time they know what they are doing. Just hard to find the time to make it there.

Friendly and helpful staff made my first visit painless and easy. I was clueless and they took the time to explain everything and work with me when things were complicated.

Some of the staff seem a bit cold, but theyre good at their jobs. The doctors and educators Ive met with are super kind and understanding! I was worried they might not be very professional, but the center is honestly better than the one I go to back home! They offer a lot of services for no or low cost; definitely use it if youre an SJSU student!!

THEY WILL KICK YOU OUT. I was trying to study here but there was no available charging dock because everything was occupied. Then, some chubby Asian lady with glasses told me to get out because I was using the charging dock right next to the chair with the sign Peer Health Educators only. I explained theres no other docks, but she said she doesnt care and literally waited until I got up and left - I wasnt even sitting down! SHE KICKED ME OUT! So much for feeling safe and welcome in the Wellness Center.

I have a massage appointment every 2 weeks because the manager there is really bad. She gives attitude whenever I see her, I think she gives attitude to every student she meets. One time, I see she rolled her eyes at one student. She gives attitude as if she doesnt want to help. Also, I love the front desk staffs but there is a girl who also gives attitude towards me, she wears glasses with black hair. This is not good, both of them really need to some a training on how to act in front of people. I know that they dont like to help people thats why they give attitude but why are you working here if you dont like to interact with people? SJSU is a professional place and we all come to SWC to relax and release some stress but I think you guys dont know that the attitude you guys gave didnt make my day felt worse but just made me felt disappointed that SJSU is my home, the place where I expect to see the professional workers, well-training. Not like this.

The doctors are friendly and very helpful. The wait to be seen was short and they provide discounts for students for different medications.
