I have had nothing but positive experiences working with Home Helpers. The management ensures that their workers needs are met and are very accommodating. They are supportive and easy to reach out to regarding anything. The scheduling is fluid and the management does a great job of helping employees strike the work-life balance they desire. Home Helpers Home Care has been excellent in providing care givers for my parents and one of my clients. All three have had very different needs and Ketan and his staff have been very thorough and thoughtful to vet their caregivers to find the right match for each. And if a caregiver isnt a good match for the personalities, they are super responsive to finding someone else, even if it means trying out several people. Its always a sensitive situation where the one needing support may not think they do, but Home Helpers has always come through, not only in having an appropriate match but responding even in emergencies where we needed someone within hours! I cant recommend them enough!

I’ve Worked for Home Helpers, for approximately 3 years, and I must say that my experience Working With Ketan Shaw, and his Staff has been a Great experience, He always manages to find people to Occupy his Staff that are Knowledgeable and are Compassionate about this Are where it concerns Seniors & They Keep Me Busy, Times have been rough through Covid, but nevertheless I’ve been busy, there response time beats any Agency that I’ve worked for and I’ve worked for Many, being in this line of work for well over 15yrs. There need to Serve this Community is Always there Priority, I Can go on and on, I am A Senior myself and understand the need to Pair Caregiver to Client it is the utmost of importance and this is what they provide in sending Me Out to Clients that Fit!. Just had a terrible experience with their Care Coordinator, Ketan (sp?). As part of my due diligence in searching for at-home care for my ailing father, Ive been conducting screening calls with a number of highly reviewed agencies, per my Google search. Home Helpers Home Care came up in that search.I live out of state and am new to this process, so admittedly my approach is thorough- including typed notes. Apparently my typing spooked Ketan, or at the very least put him off, because he then asked if I was secret shopping him. I was put off, but after explaining that I wasnt and typed notes were a part of my process, I elected to continue with my questions. When I asked about their post-hiring training program (do they have one, is it mandatory, hr of training?), he abruptly interrupted and asked if he could call me back because he needed to take another call. I told him never mind. Full transparency, perhaps he thought that appropriate as I did ask him to hold at the start of our conversation so I could excuse another call. However, I found his approach and skepticism to be very unprofessional and insensitive.If he is Home Helpers first line of contact, he needs better training! Looking for out of state, in-home elderly care is difficult enough. Potential clients should not have to deal with uncompassionate, unprofessional skeptics too. That said, thank you for revealing the level of care you really provide before my family and I made any commitments. Bullet dodged!!!

The service provided by Home Helpers was outstanding. Ketan, the manager was extremely helpful, immediately responsive and clearly committed to serving the clients needs. He acted very promptly to find caregivers who would be the best fit. The caregiver we used was consistently prompt, appropriate, skilled and personable. We were quite please with all aspects of the service. I highly recommend Home Helpers Home Care of Santa Clara Valley.

Home Helpers & its owner, Ketan, and their caregivers did an outstanding job supporting my father and me. Ketan has become a friend through it all as have the caregivers he provided. The caregivers were always on time, provided helpful ideas for my fathers care. Dad developed a strong bond with his caregivers. Ketan was able to increase hours of support from the V.A. for my father at his own initiation. I highly recommend Home Helpers.

My family could not have asked for more kind and caring assistance from Ketan and his staff. .He helped find us the best helper in Theresa. She always brings a happy, positive attitude to work which is fantasitic to be around! She has been kind, caring and supportive of my parents and was a terrific help in getting them packed up and then settled in their new apartment. Whenever they go out, Theresa makes sure to help our stepmom out of the car and provides the extra support she needs to make sure she is steady on her feet.We had to change agencies and when that didnt work out, he was able to work out having my parents favorite helper, Theresa continue. At the end of the day, she also leaves a detailed report on how the day went which is very helpful in monitoring our parent’s status.

Home helpers really saved me when I was at my lowest point trying to provide care for my elderly father who had a difficult time ambulating after a fall .In the early hours of the morning after the second sleepless night ,I found home helpers on line .Ketan, the founder of the company PERDONALLY spoke to me and LISTENED .His gentle voice , calming .Within 2 hours, I had someone at my door ready to be kind, compassionate, and helpful.The helper Inez was patient , gentle, caring and strong .She helped my dad ambulate and groom himself . Inez cared a lot about my dads hygiene details and always had a smile on her face .In this day and age, I feel like finding home helpers has been nothing short of a miracle .As a physician , I know what compassion looks like .I know what quality is.Home helpers embodies these qualities .Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating my loved one as you would yours .MarjanLos Gatos
