Great gym, lots of equipment and weights. Hell of a lot nicer and cleaner than the 24 down the road.

If you are serious about getting in shape. This is the gym. It might seems like intimidating gym but people are actually very nice.

Terrible service here. My cc expired while the gym WAS CLOSED DUE TO COVID (Yes, they were still charging).When they reopened I cleared the balance and wanted to update my card.Nope- they want me to pay a new member fee @ the new (almost double ) price. FOR AN EXPIRED CARD THAT WAS BEING CHARGED WHILE THE GYM WAS CLOSED.The gym isnt monitoring the number of people working out , nor enforcing the mask mandate... I dont recommend.

I was a longtime member of over 10 years. I loved this club because of the hammer strength equipment and the location.During the pandemic they continued to charge there members 30% of there fees. I told them to stop charging me until they re-opened. I was not paying for services they were not providing.Instead they canceled my membership and raised there rates fro $30/mo to $47/mo.I contacted them to get my old rate back because I did not cancel and was a longtime member that have already been through 3 rate increases with them. They refused unless I wanted to pay fees for the time they we’re closed.Because of there shady business practices I will not be returning.

Formerly golds gym, the owner got tired of the high franchise costs and rebranded with American barbell.Same gym, staff, & equipment. Time will tell if the money hes saving will be used to improve the gym or not.As is, its a good gym: clean, good lifting equipment, but the locker rooms could use some love. Also if note is Junes yoga class, its of a quality far above the average yoga youd find at a gym like this, highly recommended.

Good equipment with good staff and friendly clientele along w great location

Wide range of equipment. Makes it easy to change it up and never get bored. Plenty enough to share no matter how busy or how terrible other people are with gym etiquette to re-rack in between sets. Rooms + mats for stretching/ab work. I hear great things about the classes, havent tried them out yet. Love the energy in this place. Friendly, helpful staff. Bench cleaning supplies always available. Clean bathrooms. Chill music. Excellent price $19/mo.

The most motivation you will find in all gyms due to fit dedicated people💪 the free weight selections is also incredible and the membership fee is very affordable.

Ive have gone to a few gyms in the past but none have been what I expected. I came to this gym because a friend recommended it. It didnt dissapoint. It smells clean and its never too packed like other previous gyms it would go to. I love the punching bag available to use. I look forward going to the gym now!!!

The best gym in the area for the monthly fee. Always clean, great people, great staff and great trainers. Feel at home!!🏋️‍♂️🤙💯

The Santa Clara location will always be my favorite but I prefer this locations floor plan and equipment over the AB on Monterey Rd.

Jerry McCall has the best gyms in california besides Venice Golds Gym imo...the equipment and atmosphere is great and old school Golds Gym...only downside with staff are not friendly at all and they dont acknowledge me when coming in or leaving ever although im the one saying hi and bye...as former staff of McCall Gym group at bernal Golds Gym I and former staff of 2005 always did our best to give best service and make people feel welcome...since i left never got same back from new staff at none of locations except for Richard at bernal rd shout out to you bro keep up awesome work 💪
