The doctor was great. He started on time. It was efficient but thorough. He answered my questions carefully and clearly. I would definitely go back.

Dr. David Nguyen helped me better understand how my vision has changed over the years (it had been 10 yrs since my last eye exam). I really appreciated him walking me through each step of the exam. As we wrapped things up, Dr. Nguyen and his associates offered healthful and helpful tips as I chose my next pair of glasses. I considered contact lenses prior to this visit, and received thorough advice regarding follow-up if I chose to move forward with contact lenses in the future. I will be returning to this location.

Like many, I am spending a considerable amount of time in front of my screens working and studying, and consequently, my eyes are feeling very tired. This morning I went to Dr. Nguyen to get a prescription for a new pair of glasses and to ask for alternatives that could help my tired eyes. Dr. Nguyen and his staff were very kind and patient, they took the time to answer my all questions with simple and accessible explanations.

Dr. Nguyen was great! He explained everything about my prescription and scans very clearly. I also got a lot of help from the staff with my glasses and contacts.

My first time at a target optical I chose this one because of good reviews, and they were right. Very clean and sterile great if you are worried about Covid. They separated the used pens and clean pens they sterilized everything that we come in contact with. Dr. Nguyen is very informative and very helpful. I can tell he is truly there to take care of your eyes. The receptionist were very nice and friendly. Thank you for taking care of me!

Dr. David Nguyen and associates were very helpful and informational about my eyes and my eyeglasses. The doctor has a retina scanner option so I did not have to dialate my eyes. The doctor was easy to talk to and very professional. Also the receptionist was very helpful in suggesting glasses that would fit my face. ALso I thought the price was very good for having insurance and buying ray ban glasses. I would highly suggest this place and also get the red card for 5% discount

Great visit. I felt comfortable with the exam . The doctor was patient in teaching me how to put on and off my contacts . I was able to receive information about the contacts & how to properly take care of them. The associate was also helpful and knowledgeable with the information I requested. Overall, pleasant experience.

I’ve been going to Dr. Nguyen for several years now and he is still the best optometrist I’ve ever seen. I scheduled an annual eye exam when I had unexplained eye pain in my left eye and he spent a lot of time administering various tests to diagnose. He also always tries to make sure I get the most out of my VSP benefits, which I really appreciate. He was also very careful with COVID precautions. A+ experience, very happy to have him as my regular eye doctor.

Dr. Nguyen is a fantastic optometrist who genuinely cares for his patients. I came in with a minor concern and he was very welcoming and helpful as he answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He also offered me an eye exam and clearly explained the process and results. At the end of the appointment, he provided me with complimentary eye drop samplers to take home and ensured that all my needs were sufficiently addressed. I went to see Dr. Nguyen because I wanted to get contacts. I had a lot of trouble getting the contacts onto my eyes but Dr. Nguyen was incredibly patient with me and showed me various techniques to put in contacts. Hes a very knowledgable optometrist, but more importantly, he really cares about his patients. Ive been seeing Dr. Nguyen since 2016 and Ive always felt that Dr. Nguyen sincerely cares about my vision and how my eyes are doing. He is professional and he has a high standard of excellence in his practice. I highly recommend his practice!

Dr. Nguyen was awesome!! This was my first ever full eye exam and I could not be more pleased!! My husband and I didn’t even need an appointment. We were shopping around Target, running errands, and had time to finally check this off the to-do list. Within minutes we were greeted by Dr. Nguyen and brought back to the exam room where I was excited not only as a patient, but also as moral support for the hubby. The technology they use is all SUPER cool and Dr. Nguyen entertained my curiosity with such an open heart and enthusiasm. I’m new to CA, and had been seeing (bad pun intended) the same eye doctor in MD for 15 years. Finding someone I could trust and build a relationship with was important. Dr. Nguyen was recommended by a friend, and I’m happy to say it was a great recommendation.My eyes are pretty bad, so a lot of my questions for Dr. Nguyen revolved around LASIK. He was very thorough in answering my questions. I’ll be back next year!

I’ve been going to the optometrist ever since I can remember since my vision is so bad, and Dr. Nguyen is the best! My vision hasn’t changed in many years, so a lot of optometrists just breeze through my exam, keep everything the same, and hastily send me on my way with my prescription.However, I could tell Dr. Nguyen genuinely cared for me as a patient because he asked several questions to see how he could make things better instead of being satisfied with the status quo. I ended up staying with my old brand of contact lenses, but I appreciate that Dr. Nguyen took the time to let me try the newest contacts that had came out.Although the office is located inside Target, Dr. Nguyen is actually an independent optometrist. I could tell the difference because there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything I didn’t need. He was very upfront in laying out my options for glasses, contacts, and LASIK and their pros and cons. I’m recommending him to all my friends and family!
