Sometimes we meet people that heal us. Most physicians are capable of treating patients - very rarely do we find a physician who can heal us.Dr Narain is a healer. He is a wonderful person and if your going through something difficult you want him to be on your team.I am thankful to have found him. The check in process was very quick. They do not overbooked; therefore, the waiting time was fast. Their staffs were professionals. Dr. Narain took time to explain the process/procedures and next steps, if needed.

I highly recommend Dr Narain. After being diagnosed with macular pucker that warranted surgery, Dr Narain performed a vitrectomy and epiretinal membrane peel (on both eyes). I have been his patient ever since (15 years and counting!).It is always a pleasure to visit Dr Narains office! The entire staff is professional and very friendly.

Very detail oriented and thorough with tests and followups. Dr Narain is always funny and great at explaining everything including risk factors and current state of affairs. His staff is outstanding and never make you wait and always prompt and ready with everything.

Dr. Narain treated me for a condition called central serous retinopathy back in 2015, I ended up needing to get laser surgery because it didnt improve naturally. In 2021 my vision is still back to normal and my optometrist says she could not even see evidence of the surgery, I guess thats a complete success.

First time patient at the Gilroy facility I received a thorough examination and was referred to a cataract specialist to correct my vision problem. As I learned, Dr. Narain is a retina specialist and does not do cataracts. (I never realized that there are separate specialists for the various parts of the eye.)All in all, I received a very friendly and professional treatment during the entire process

I RARELY LEAVE RATINGS/REVIEWS BUT THIS PLACE I MUST!!I was looking for a retina doctor for my dad in the area. Without having much of options to choose from, I just chose somewhere close from my dad’s place. I’m glad I did. It’s really hard to find a good, professional doctor but on top of it having good staffs is harder. STOP searching for a good retina doctor! You just did! I assure you that you will be happy with their services! 👍👍

I normally do not write bad reviews and I wasn’t on planning to write one even though I was unsatisfied with their service until I received an unexpected medical bill from them. Although the front desk and staff here are very friendly and attentive I’m very unsatisfied with the service that I received. I waited almost two hours just to see the doctor for five minutes. The staff checked the inside of my eyes and asked me questions. However, the reason I went to see Dr. Keshav was for my eyelids. I understand this might be the medical procedure to check all parts of the eyes that their office practice but it feels as if they did all these extra steps for the money. It felt as if the doctor was in a hurry, he took a look at my eyes and told me I had dry eyes and to buy an eye drop from a local pharmacy, he did not explain to me what was wrong with my eyelids (the reason why I was there). I left with so many questions unanswered because the doctor was in a hurry to leave. After using the eye drops the doctor recommended, my eyelids got very inflamed and the skin of my eyelid started peeling, my eyelids got worse ever since. They did tell me to make a follow up appointment (so they can send me another bill for a five min. appt and a two hr wait?) I think it’s very unreasonable for them to not tell me what they’re charging me for, this should be made clear when I checked in or when I leave, and patients should be informed wether our insurance cover it or not! Not only was I unable to get a proper diagnosis for my eyelids I received an unexpected surprise bill in the mail. Hope this review will help save someone else’s pocket from unexpected bills.

Testing thorough and on time, tho office was busy. Recommended vitamin test that turned out low. Supplement has improved testing score. Am pleased with improvement after laser treatments.

Excellent service all around. I was seen at the exact time I had an appointment. The doctor is very knowledgeable and explains everything very patiently and very clearly.

My mom went in for a routine check up for her eye pressure and ended up having emergency lasering done because the doctor found some abnormalities and blockage. He was very thorough, very passionate about her well being during the procedure, and extremely attentive to details in her history to make sure she is being taken care of correctly. He even took the time to explain to ME with pictures of what was wrong, how it happened, why it happened, and what would have happened if she hadn’t have come in today.We’ve been coming here for the past 10 years and I was amazed at how much he remembered and knew about our family and what I was doing with my career. Even after moving almost two hours away from the silicon valley, we continue to come here. Dr. Narain is an extremely amazing doctor! He is also such a funny and charming person. It took three hours before we were done, but due to the atmosphere in the office and very professional and warm staff, I barely even noticed the waiting time. I give all of my gold stars to this doctor and his awesome team! I definitely recommend coming here for any eye related issues. He will for sure take care of you!

Because of my sons age we were turned away from at least 15 other retina specialists. He has a rare eye disease. Dr Narain has been a God send for us. Not only is he so great with my young son, he really knows his stuff. His staff is amazing too. We have been visiting 2 times a year for almost 3 years. Moving to once a year now. Dr Narain is a very caring person. He treats his patients very well and is always willing to listen and answer any question you may have about results and treatments. The change in location was good for me but I found parking to be very limited. However after I mentioned this to the Dr, he asked if I used the underground parking which I was unaware of its existence. Now, inust have to find the entrance on my next trip.

My optometrist, Dr Andrew Lu in Gilroy, discovered a retinal tear and referred me to Dr Narain. Dr Narain saw me the following day and repaired the tear before the problem could progress to a retinal detachment. His administrative staff and his medical staff are highly competent, thorough, patient, and kind. After the extremely meticulous medical testing and analysis of the patients eyes, Dr. Narain himself examines the patients eyes and then comprehensively explains the accumulated data in such a way that the layperson can understand. We are fortunate he is located in the South Bay.
